      Spellbee's Summer Lucid Competition 2016 - Entry 2

There were many dreams today, including a DILD after my first WBTB. However, I've forgotten much of the others, and even of those three that I could identify, two of them are only fragments.

Before the following, I do a 45 minute WBTB, which turned into an hour and 45 minute WBTB instead.

      Dream 1 - Plane Flip

The visuals were pretty clear. I was a passenger in a small car, being taken down a long road at daytime. Grassy hills remained in view at my right. Driving the vehicle was my uncle, Felix.

We stop at a red light. My uncle cuts ahead a bit, but backs up when he "remembered" his previous traffic citation. This all seemed very familiar... Anyway, he eventually makes a long right turn into a long, curved highway ramp. Soon, a large bridge is in sight. The George Washington Bridge, I thought, heading to New York. As I look around for the cityscape, I instead find the shadow of a mountainside in the distance. Just then, I realized I lived a few thousand miles away from this area, and thus, attain lucidity.

I fly out. The dream starts fading into brown. So, I stabilize and anchor myself by muttering "deeper". In time, the environment reforms. I'm then floating over a grassy flatland with the distinctive blocky textures of Minecraft. Eh, done that. I grumble "deeper" a few more times, and willfully drop through the ground.

As it turned out, this plane was only paper thin. I'm unexpectedly "flipped" into another area, its gravity completely reversed. After readjusting myself, I see I'm hovering high over a series of grass-topped, narrow plateaus. Still had the same cheap, boxy textures as before, if a bit brighter and clearer. Let's go deeper.

Dived head first through the ground again with the intent to "flip" planes once more. Once inverted, I see I'm ducked down on a pebbly brook. This time, the visuals were realistic, though a bit dimmer. Still, this was much better overall. I played around with the water, splashing it around and letting it drift past my hands. Got a little too caught up with this; couldn't help but appreciate its lifelike, cool dampness.

Well, I snap out of this after a minute or so. I tried looking around, only to find I can't move my neck. Stay calm. Just move on. I used my "Codec Device" to call my dream guide, E, but there was no response. Then, seconds after I gave up, a small, 8-bit figure appeared in view from my left. This seemed as a lady in a black cloak. She spoke to me in white text, though the words scrolled too fast for me to accurately read everything but her name (only remember it was an adverb; "Still", I think?). I'm quite certain this sprite-lady gave a snippy explanation as to why my guide wasn't going to show. She walked off-view immediately afterwards.

Then, a bright spark bounces around in front of me. This begins shattering the environment. I maintain my grasp for half a minute before the dream collapses entirely.

      Scrap Group 1
Waking up in a hotel room on a fluffy, pink covered and white bed. Next to that was an even smaller, pinker bed designed for children. The area was a bit messy. Mom and dad were nearby.

Found several large roaches around the house, encountering them in some very unlikely spots each time (besides the laundry room). As I wake up, I feel a creeping sensation. I'm uncertain if it's real or not, and hesitate. Eventually, I blew air at it, where I then feel and hear the distinctive humming of large insect wings. Oh crap. I freeze in panic, and, once possible, instinctually try brushing it off. There's nothing there, just an illusion.

      Dream 2 - "Reality" Bites

The visuals were clear. I was sitting in my home's dining room at daytime. Levon was nearby.

As I was eating a meal from a bowl (porridge, I think), my lower left-most flat tooth snaps right off. I spit it out, and taste a distinctive mixture of blood and wheat. After staring at it haplessly for a few seconds, I rush to the bathroom. A look in the mirror did indeed confirm what I feared. I couldn't believe any of this, prompting a breathing test, yet this "proved" the "reality" of the situation.

Still, I refused to accept any of this. As denial, I began running out the door to fly. Mom concurrently opened the door from the outside. Anyway, I leaped in the air and... faceplant. Hard. How embarrassing. The others muttered in confusion. Seeing as I couldn't humiliate myself any more, I just practiced some handstands, much to the further confoundment of everyone else.

      I wake up soon afterwards.

There were three dreams I recalled today, including a late DILD at the end, to which I bagged this month's Bonus task. The first one is just a fragment now, though that was wilfully forgotten on my part; the first half was just kinda yucky.

      Scrap Group 1
Skip gross part. Later, something of "chibi" human heads eating tiny people like candy.

Dream 1 - Don't Mind the Senseless Transition

The visuals were dim. I was wandering at a parking lot at late dusk.

As I searched for my vehicle (whatever that was), I suddenly turn up at the backseat of a car. My sister, Giane, and my brother, Terry, were there. I question how I'd no memory of getting there. Supposedly, I spaced out for a moment, during which I was taken inside said car. That didn't make much sense even at the time, yet I just left it at that.

Soon, Giane recieves a phone call. On the other line were two cousins, Carlos and Isabella, who were supposedly visiting. They wanted us to go to a restaurant to speak. Terry and I were not up to it, though I reluctantly change my mind when Carlos assured me he'd take the bill.

One highway drive later, and I go within an unknown home. This place was a bit messy, and not in good repair. Mom shows up. She claims we rented the place for a few nights as part of a vacation, I think. Most of the luggage was still packed. I look through the cupboards in the kitchen. On the higher ones, I find several plastic canisters filled with crackers. Certainly, we came more prepared than I expected.

Things get unclear. I know I wander around for a while. Not sure how the dream ends.

      Dream 2 - Quick Quake

The visuals were dim. I falsely awaken in the downstairs bedroom at early dawn. Both being in this location and my inability to move makes me aware of my state.

I immediately try the earthquake TOTM by will alone. And just like that, the ground trembles with a low rumble. Such violent shaking was very uncomfortable. Even then, the surrounding furniture within and just out of the room hardly budged; they're only barely scraped sideways on the tiled floors, and nothing on or within them are toppled over.

After about ~30 seconds, I'm transitioned, though I know nothing else of what occurred until I awaken.

Technically, there were a total of four dreams I recalled today, one which briefly became a DILD, and another which I chained into a DEILD. I'll just count the last as a single dream. Furthermore, I've only a hint of what the first involved.

      Scrap Group 1

Something about a hotel, and possibly a mall.

Dream 1 - Special Guest at the Gas Station

The visuals were mostly clear. I was working in my old gas station at late dusk. A former co-worker, Tito was also there.

This place was packed, leaving me stuck at the register. At one point, a tanned skinned woman asked for a pack of Motrin, and also buying a small bottle of water. She lugged around large black leather purse and an umbrella, and also had care of several small kids. I reached for the medicine, which was oddly placed amongst some cigarrettes. In her hurried confusion, she almost tried paying me with the Motrin pack. On correcting her, she handed me the required $2.01.

Later, an olive skinned guy was trotting along with a large, plastic, multilayed cart. Very suspicious. I went to the front door, where I for some reason leapt on the ice cream cooler to get his attention. One query on what he needed, and he dropped everything and left abruptly.

Soon, someone buzzed from outside. Out on pump 5, I believe, was a frustrated woman, a black, full-sized van behind her. Several of her kids were running around. The woman was obviously using the hose from the other side of the pump. Through the intercom, the woman complained of the card readers not working. I bade she come inside to resolve this, angering her further.

As things picked up, Jose left elsewhere for undisclosed reasons. I alone had to deal with this parade of a line. A string of transactions later, I serve a thin, short, lightly tanned, dark haired, Hispanic young lady. She'd a long nose and looked rather plain overall, and was dressed in a striped sleeveless shirt and dark spandex. In lieu of buying something, the girl introduced herself.

"I'm Nahiri. I have something to tell you, but it's gonna take a while." I only partially acknowledged her words, my concerns lying more on the ridiculously long queue behind her.

"Er... would you mind if I take care of a few people before we start?", I requested. "I'd really appreciate it." She seemed a bit annoyed. While the next customer approached, I continued.

"Nahiri, huh? That sounds familiar... [Magic - The Gathering], right? Hmmm... wait a minute..."

It clicked. I was in a dream. I made breathing test to confirm this. Unfortunately, this ends the dream immediately.

Dream 2 - Beach Ball Planet

The visuals were mostly clear. I was a passenger in an unknown vehicle, riding around locally at twilight. All of my siblings were with me.

Seems the area was different, what with all the fields and trees in place of the hospital and several communities, much like how it was over a decade ago. Furthermore, a shopping plaza was being constructed where the BJ's would be. We dropped by to look in at several of the unfinished restaurants. One was a since defunct grill restaurant. Another was a Thai restaurant, which would make two so close by. Curiously, one of these places opened prematurely. My brother, Adam, peeked inside for a take-out menu.

Unknown skip. I'm at my bedroom, the sky fully sunlit. Soon, I realized I could fly, and so I zip around the house. This spooks my sister, who was lounging downstairs. So, she left. She takes along an unknown young male who she'd charge of, as well as my baby niece, who appeared as but a newborn. They go in an old, white minivan. I levitate inside to say goodbye, and float out through the sunroof while sitting cross-legged. Could barely make it out before I got my back end scraped by the speeding van.

Next, I take to the skies, spinning and dashing through the clouds. I enjoy myself for a few minutes before I fly back down to my neighborhood. While heading home, I glance at a startled neighbor woman smiling nervously at me. Then, I notice an odd, dark figure on my roof. It seemed a twisted man-bat type creature. So, I fly up to chase it away, only to find it was just (or likely changed into) an oversized trash liner. I kicked it off, and seated myself on the roof to relax for a bit.

After that, I flew into my bedroom, where I made flying spin kicks for fun. These attempts came out awkwardly, all too high and imbalanced. Suddenly, I wake up. How disappointing. As I remember the dream, I think to myself "If I were back in and aware of the dream..."

Voip. Just like that, I'm flying high in the clouds, my neighborhood and the entire town visible far below.

      "...I'd try the earthquake TOTM."

Now aware, I thought it best to get to it immediately. I dive down at mach speed, and reel my fist back to ready a punch. Out of courtesy, I tilted myself to land in my backyard. Here it comes. A big impact. I strike the Earth, and... Bop. The entire planet is punted out of orbit like a giant beach ball, with me dragged along with it. Darkness and blurred stars zoom through the sky. Heck, this takes me far enough to pass Mars, the red planet skimming dangerously close for at least a few seconds before it's scrolled out of view. I wondered what sort of climate awaited us in this new orbit. Surely, many animals would go extinct in a short timeframe.

I awaken with such thoughts in head.

32 hours without sleep gave me one helluva case of REM rebound. Unfortunately, I've only got fragments of what occurred throughout the night and morning, including some interesting dreams and an LD. I maybe woulda been able to remember things better if I'd not unwittingly prevented the phone's alarm from waking me throughout that time.

      Scrap Group 1

Yet another Mortal Kombat dream, this time from the "Klassic" storyline. A Netherrealm Invasion pended on both my own awakening, as well as good draws from some trading card game.

Very long dream, though I only recall the end. I was in an unknown home, scrounging around in the kitchen, while a group of tanned skinned, dark haired Hispanic people loitered about during an afterparty. I looked inside the black steel oven, finding much food within pots, pans, and plates. Most were shredded portions of chicken and pork. I think of getting sweet and sour chicken, but knew that was already claimed by some guy. Then, a conversation of damaged medieval weaponry and armor, including something of a broken-linked mail.

Some dream where I warp to a forest, and encounter a weird magical woman.

Then, something of my being on the balcony of a mysterious castle. Strange grey clouds roiled in the skies.

Another warping dream, where I'm taken in a tour through various places.

A mostly forgotten lucid dream. Some interaction within an environment of ink-like fog caused me to unwittingly warp into other scenes numerous times. There was a notable lack of dream noises, contrasted by sounds concurrently occurring in real life.

I got three LDs, one WILD, and two DILDs after that. There were a few dreams before that, though of these, I only have scraps for one. Furthermore, my illness made it difficult to think clearly during the dreams.

      Scrap Group 1
Altering my Abbyssian deck for Duelyst. I think of adding even more Deathwatch reliant effects and minions.

Dream 1 - You Can Touch, But You Can't Look

A dizzying sensation indicates a successful WILD. I see my bed is even bigger, fluffier, and has many more pillows than usual.

On shuffling, I'm warped into the void. I shadowbox for a while, hoping I'd get thrown into combat, but nothing happens. Next, I'm warped to my bedroom. Something about my sister being there, saying something, and vanishing in quick succession. I bounce in bed for a while, noting the low gravity, before I simply hover around for a moment.

Get bored. I land on the floor, and try charging electricity in my hand. Nothing seems to happen, but I pretend it was working. I shoot towards the closet, and notice its door was open. On crossing through, the surroundings warp. I now stood beneath a tall, narrow space enclosed by wooden walls, a chute, perhaps. I pretend to wrestle with a harpy (this just being the first random monster that came to mind). Surprisingly enough, I feel a weak, invisible presence in my grasp. More alarming was finding myself levitating against my will. I release the hold, only to have an unseen force clench my arms and take me for a ride.

Eventually, I reach the top, and find myself in a giant-sized hallway, an equally giant-sized bureau a distance ahead. I'm taken towards an upper shelf, on which was placed a straw nest the size of a living room. I'd a bad feeling of my unseen captor's motives, let alone what the giant residents would do if they found me.

I feel the dream slipping, and awaken suddenly. Woulda gone for a DIELD, but I already sensed that wasn't possible.

Dream 2 - The Chameleon Mulligan

The visuals were blurred. I was in an unknown room.

I (and a few others, I think) were watching Rocko's Modern Life on a CRT TV. This had the Chameleon Bros, Chuck and Leon, driving Rocko and Heffer via sedan through a forested highway at daytime. The brothers argue on their legs bumping into each other, taking their focus off the road. The car swerves and sways, while Rocko and Heffer's concerns go unnoticed.

Eventually, the characters are replaced, and the environment becomes realistic. Now, I, and my brother Darren, were in the back seat of a dark colored minivan. Meanwhile, the Chameleon Bros. were replaced with what, for all intents and purposes, were realistic counterparts of themselves, including their phony Northern European accents and flamboyant mannerisms. Appearance wise, these were identical, thin, clean shaven, pale skinned men with short, spiky brown hair, both donned in neon colored shirts under black dress suits, and wearing thin rimmed spectacles. I was aware of the dream, but let it run its course.

While approaching the driveway to a wide building, we talk of the origins of the term Mulligan. Darren simply defines the current popular definition, whereas I correctly (more or less) identify it originating from an amateur golf player infamous for making do-overs. I make a joke of a "Mulligan" card, comparing this (perhaps incorrectly) to some old credit card commercial. Despite my terrible execution, everyone laughs heartily at this joke.

The dream fades and ends soon afterwards.

      Dream 3 - Fiery Exit

The visuals were a bit blurred. I was seated on the while tiled floor of a bedroom in an unknown home. Across the room was CRT TV on a small desk. Behind that was tall window, the night sky in view. A bed with white covers behind me provided a means to cushion my back. On my right was a small squared wooden table, bowls of food scattered on it. A bathroom was visible from an opened door on the right corner. Furthermore, my nephew, Jarred, was seated ahead of me. I was "semi-aware" of the dream.

We were watching an old, late 80's/early 90's movie of an unknown genre. This started with two figures stepping out of a wood-paneled station wagon. One was a 40-something year old woman, light skinned and Farrah Fawcett-esque auburn hair. The other was a scrawny, bespectacled 8 year old kid with a blonde buzzcut. The mom talks of movies the kid never watched, but the kid refuses to listen so as not to have things spoiled for him.

As this goes on, I eat a rice, beans, and meat meal from a bowl. Think it had a bit too much tomato sauce and salt. I glance at the bathroom, where, oddly enough, I find live crawfish crawling on the sink's rim, their shells cream and white swirled in color.

In the movie, the kid is getting ready for a bath. Then, on dipping his hand in the tub, his arm is accosted by several large green bugs and worms, which he doesn't even notice. I question how that boy could miss something so obvious. Jarred remains oddly quiet.

So, I'm finishing my meal, when I notice verdant caterpillars on the table. I stopped eating in disgust, leaving a few spoonfuls of rice to waste. Dart back to the film, where the kid was now surrounded by insects. And yet, despite such a horrible state, the boy hardly reacts, let alone screams. Let's see. Creepy crawlies in the movie, creepy crawlies near me, and a creepily silent nephew? Yep, sounds like a nightmare's a-brewin. I gain full awareness.

Of course, I think to get the heck outta there. But before that, I immediately wreathe myself in an aura of flames just in case, briefly tensing my muscles to do so. Anyway, I rush down some curved stairs constructed of laminated wood, a red carpet running down the center. Once halfway down, I sensed the burning corpses of vermin falling and crumbling on me. Furthermore, my pyrotechnics have apparently set fire to the place, if the sound of a roaring inferno and creaking wood behind me were any indication.

Downstairs, I reach a wide, fancy marble foyer, where I overheard my sister and mom arguing. Ignoring that, I exit out the door, only to land into complete darkness. The dream ends immediately afterwards.

I remembered two dreams today, one DILD after a WILD attempt, and one before my first known awakening. However, at the moment, I only know of scraps for the latter.

      Scrap Group 1
Like yesterday, I ended up seeing a member from DreamViews in my dream. This was an androgynous person with long, black hair, a person that I assumed was JadeGreen. Later on, I spoke with my brother, Edwin, who lacked his dreads and beard. Then, a good portion of the dream revolved around a Sega Genesis game. Or rather, a black mega-cartridge filled with supposed "demos" of said games, as indicated from a red and black label, as well as a pamphlet that came with it. Of those listed in this brochure were all of the classic Sonic games (Sonic 1, 2, 3, and Knuckles). This cartridge was apparently shown in a private tech convention in the mid nineties, and indeed, a warning label stated it was illegal to have under any other circumstances. I hooked this up to a Genesis console, and played some fantasy beat-em-up game, not unlike the first Golden Axe, though more medieval fiction than Hyborian-esque.

      Dream 1 - A Lucid Tour

Scene 1 - Not the Best Spot to Sleep
The visuals were blurred. I woke up in the living room of unknown apartment. Lounging around in the area were my parents, as well as one or both of my brothers.

From the start, I felt uncomfortable and tired. I thus hadn't a care in laying down around or under odd places, starting with the carpeted floor. I later moved under a bar stool, and then under a table, where I dozed off for a bit.

When I awaken, I find myself squeezed under a leather couch. I became suspicious, enough so that my dream form understood the dream state, but not quite "me". Anyway, I had difficulty breathing, but I calmed down. From random thoughts, I tried giving amusing justifications for my predicament. Nothing of the sort occurred. I just simply drifted off again.

Then, I "woke up" once more, this time in my bedroom. Felt as if I've had a miserable sleep. So, I trudged to the master bedroom, seeing my brother, Mathias, walking out. I dropped on the bed, only to find, much to my disgust, that the sheets were damp. And yet, I somehow got too comfortable to think of moving. Heck, I even gambled on this helping me attain a lucid dream.

      The scene transitioned afterwards.

Scene 2 - Funnelled Into Awareness
The visuals were clear. I was in a lounge room, decorated by a few brown leather couches and some potted plants. A look out the window walls showed I was in the upper floors of a building, a full view of seaside cityscape outside. The skyscraper's spires pierced through storm clouds, all concealing a twilight sky. At a glance, I could note mom was nearby.

The dark clouds begin spinning rapidly. Within seconds, a narrow, straight funnel cloud descends to the ground. I somehow recalled having a similar dream just days before, and at that, became aware of my state. As such, I relaxed myself, and allowed the twister to do its work.

Those windows shatter, and I'm immediately sucked out of the building. Yet, I'm only dragged but a few meters before I'm simply falling to the streets below. I recover quickly, and glide ahead towards the ocean, all while enjoying the great view. For a few seconds, anyway, as I'm interrupted by landing much earlier than expected.

Suddenly, the surrounding structures crumble in plain view, while the sea recedes, if not evaporates entirely. All that's left is the clear blue sky, as well as a desert of white sand I was standing on. I fly ahead, catching sight of, and chasing, the drying ocean visible in the distance, curious as to where it takes me. There was an eerie lack of noise for a moment. Cue music playing in the background, an ambient, if somber piano piece.

Time moved much faster. Within the span of several seconds, I observed water, foliage, and even sand and clay structures come and go. It was as if I'd witnessed a cycle of the world ending and beginning anew.

Eventually, the visuals got very grainy. As new structures materialized, I noticed these having trite, blocky textures from Minecraft, the buildings being large, triangular roofed buildings constructed in an orderly array of sandstone, cobblestone, wood, and glass. Got annoyed at seeing as much, but at least these attained slightly more smoothed, less blocky textures in time.

The scenery vanished for a moment, though uttering for more time fixed that. A low resolution cityscape then formed ahead, the buildings made of yellow-brown stone material.

By then, I got a bit bored of this tour. So, I jumped right to conjuring up a more personally interesting sight, let's just say a woman to my taste. As I glance beside me, I'm surprised to see just as much in the distance. Yet, she appeared as animated in 3D, much like those ameteur "Poser" figures.

I very much wanted to get her attention. Unfortunately, as I followed her, the scenery collapsed instantly, and I awaken.

    8. Log 349 - Kinda a Venetian Galleass

      by , 04-14-2016 at 12:09 AM (Dream Logs DWN-12)
      Created Wednesday 13 April 2016

I attained a WILD state today, having many dreamlets in between, as well as one complete dream at the end. I also remembered a fairly long dream before the first awakening, one that I'm sure had me attain a lucid state (or at least a false lucid), but at this point, I only have fragments of it.

      Scrap Group 1
After a number of occurrences, I end up on the deck of a sail ship. There, I encounter a member from DreamViews (not sure who at the moment). Later, I speak with a disembodied head of an unknown bald guy. I become lucid at some point, or my dream form assumes as much.

      Dream 1 - Kinda a Venetian Galleass
My arms went numb, and stayed that way for several minutes. I'd assumed this was merely a transition state into a full dream, but a breath check proved I was indeed dreaming. The surprise awakened me briefly, but I promptly returned, and in deeper sleep, no less.

Various dreams formed within several minutes. One was a false awakening involving my sleep being interrupted by family members.

There were also a few afflictions of REM Atonia, from which I woke up with difficulty breathing. A particular instance even had me inside a cloth padded coffin. Despite this, unlike in my other suffocation hallucinations, I managed to convince myself to remain calm, and drifted off to sleep afterwards.

Eventually, I spent several rounds floating backwards in the void. In most cases, I attempted and failed to bring light and clarity in various ways, including by trying to remove my sleeping mask, focusing on a certain point, and just plain intention.

A few incidents involved some furries showing up, their faces contorted with perverted expressions. Enraged at the sight, I quickly began strangling each one by one, which, in turn, caused them to "poof" out of existence.

After a few more excursions, I finally have the mind to attempt... well, I'll leave this part for myself. Heheheh.... A little kink, is all.

Several more trips to the void occurred, until I finally assert myself to create a scenery. I try remembering the sailing dream above, imagining myself on the deck of a ship. In seconds, this takes forms as a low res image of as much. Next, I thought of ambient noises, which were produced instantly, sounds of creaking wood and crashing waves echoing all around me. Out of personal taste, I wanted this ship to be a galleass, which would mean it's partially oar powered. And just like that, I began hearing the rhythmic splashes and hoarse grunting of such activity below. A literal skeleton crew, I imagined, though I never saw any of that.

The environment became brighter and more solidified, though it still retained gritty visuals. Above me was a deep blue dawn sky behind storm clouds, while a vast grey ocean was all that lay below and the ship, the scenery aided by the scent and sensation of an omnipresent sea breeze.

My perspective discorporates a distance ahead and above of the ship. It seemed more a stout sailboat, like a cog, than a vast war galley. Furthermore, its details fluctuates in resolution, from choppy, to cartoony 3D (think early PSOne game quality), to quite realistic. A "map view", perhaps?

Anyway, the vessel was beset by rough tide. Quite rough, in fact, as the waves slammed right over the ship. Despite this, the ship pressed forward.

I start to wonder about this. "Huh. For a second, I thought it'd surely..."

Before I could finish that thought, the ship capsizes immediately.

"Boss!", shouts an unknown masculine, raspy, and seemingly dehydrated voice nearby. "We're going down!"

My viewpoint realigns itself, where I could see, feel, and taste that I'm submerged entirely in seawater, accidentally gulping down a copious amount of the stuff. I resurface and recover in short order. Now, I could see a small landmass ahead of me, a tiny island, with a disproportionately tall grey mountain in its center. "Looks like I'll find my 'White Whale' after all", I think to myself.

Unfortunately, the dream dissolves immediately afterwards.

Could only remember one dream today, the first dream of the day, and I'm pretty sure it's not in it's entirety. Kinda reluctant to post it, but it's been a bit since my last entry online, so what the hey.

Dream 1 - Bad News for a Delivery Guy

The visuals were dim and slightly blurred. I was entering an unknown apartment room, the poor lighting indicating dusk. It was kinda a mess, though the decorations and furniture seemed otherwise decent enough. My brother, Sebastian, was accompanying me.

Soon, I interacted with two figures inside. One was Sam, an old friend of mine, who hasn't changed since I last saw him many years ago. The other was an unknown, tanned skinned, dark haired Caribbean Hispanic woman, slightly fat, plain looking, and wearing a sundress. They've given me charge of a small, metal box, which I was to deliver. A look inside revealed a large portion of marijuana, already rolled up inside cigar paper. The woman promised me one of these joints (in addition to payment, I believe) should I complete the task. I accepted, though revealed nothing of how I wasn't interested in such things. My brother and I then left.

We were passing through a sidewalk by a shopping plaza, the car lots mostly empty, all under a dawn sky. I've apparently owned a white truck, class 6, much like a movers' truck.

Then, I recieved a call from an unknown, dark cased phone. On the other line was mom, who was sobbing and could barely speak. At that, I immediately felt glum; I knew exactly what she was going to say. Not willing to talk about it here. I began to wonder how such a terrible thing could happen so suddenly. That's when I realized the dream state, though I was much too embittered and enraged to think clearly.

"What the hell is this shit?!", I yell at my unconscious self. "I didn't need this!"

I wake up immediately afterwards in less than good spirits.

Today, I managed to get into a WILD state. I also remembered one other dream besides that one, though not as much of it as I should.

I managed to get a late WILD today. There were also fragments of various other dreams I remember, one before my first awakening, one before my LD attempts, and another that occured between those attempts. First one had me and my sister exiting a suburban apartment complex. The next one had me watching the 2012 Ninja Turtles cartoon, where an unusually large Splinter fights off a snake-formed Karai in the sewers, until he calms her down with a picture of her mother. Finally, another dream involved me, my sister, and my nephew watching what was supposedly an anime movie for the original Dragon Ball, though all I saw was a sentient steam roller flattening living furniture.

Got a DILD today, and even chained it into various scenes. Regretably, there's a bit of details I can't recall at the moment, but I think I still got the important stuff. Aside from that, I could also remember scraps from the endings of an earlier dream before the first awakening, something about humming "Surging Power" from Knuckles' Chaotix, and messing with a GUI.

I managed to get a DILD, and a vivid one at that. Aside from that, there were a number of dreams I could recall today, more than in recent times. Probably a side effect of my new WILD anchors. Anyway, I know I remembered scraps of a dream after the first awakening, but forgot that by now. Before the first dream below, I could somewhat remember being in a desolate urban shopping district, where I played 16-bit era video games. There was some interaction with a bizarre, monstrous woman, one with arthropodal features, whom I nonetheless treated as a friend. After a few other dreams, there was also something about Futurama, where Fry turned into some giant, hideous slime creature, and beckoned for Leela to let him eat her, the latter of whom became conflicted on the matter for some reason. Finally, there were also fragments related to being in an urban environment or cityscape, all of which influenced similar dreams listed below.

I succefully attained a WILD, and got what I believe was one of the TOTMs. There was a dream before the first awakening, which I partially recalled immediately after it occurred, though I remember nothing of it now.
