    Mayan Calander

    I was in a shop selling crocheted female clothing. They were Orange and Yellow against a darker background. There was a skirt with a Mayan calendar. I wanted to buy it badly. First I looked at the other designs. They were also of Mayan design, but more abstract.

    Little Luck in a Crowd

    I woke up to go to the bathroom. Returning to bed, I practiced SSILD. I believe the dream actually occurred a couple hours later. I think I woke up to turn off my phone alarm, and within five minutes, I had the dream. My phone snooze only lasts five minutes, and I think I dreamed between alarms.

    I went in and out of SP. I heard a wooshing sound as though something went by very quickly. I thought it odd.

    I did an RC but couldn't see my hand. I was still awake. I relaxed and let sleep take me, every once in a while thinking about my typical subject of choice. In and out of SP, I finally slipped into a dream.

    I enter the Waffle House (IWL I have hit the Waffle a few times, once to meet a friend M.) The place is packed. I spot a blonde and move in. I put her on the table, lie down, and kiss her. I can't really feel her lips. I'm to awake, though my dream has materialized so that it builds itself.

    I tell her to open her mouth (so I can really kiss her), but she doesn't. I decide to try to make it with her. I attempt to pull my pants right off my body, but it doesn't work, so I try to take them off the regular way.

    There dream shifted to a flat, cement structure, but I forget what happened if anything.

    I had a lot of trouble with this lucid. I was too awake. The success here is that SSILD may be working.

      Cool, congrats on getting lucid again! So had you been practicing SSILD without success for a while or just not doing much with it recently?

      I've been botching things and letting waking life issues interfere the last couple of days so I'm hoping to pull off a proper SSILD myself tonight.

      I don't know if your only goal for LDing is sex, but you seem like you need help with it. :/

      I practice SSILD most days. I suppose it doesn't seem like I have much luck, but my success rate has gotten better each year. I had 17 my first year with DV, 27 my second year I believe, and I've had 4 this month, my first month of the fiscal year, so I'm actually pretty psyched.

      I need to modify how I manage SP. I latch on to it so strongly with my waking mind that I can't slip into a dream well, but I want to take a waking thought with me into the dream. The good thing is that I think I know what I need to change. I need to let sleep take me a little more strongly, and as Xanous recently recommended, move forward through the void if I encounter that, and see where I end up.

      Also, I cycle as I go to bed at night. The tut says to cycle during a WBTB. I don't care. I do it anyway. On this particular night, I think it worked exactly as it was supposed to. I cycled after going to the bathroom, and then later in the evening I became lucid.

      I have read your previous entries. I have never seen you... "Satisfied" by it.

      I can give you some advice if you want. I try to stay away from it, but alas. They attack me a lot. And I am good at it.

      Sounds awesome BrandonBoss. I always enjoyed my success, but must admit you are correct. The thing is, I enjoy the pursuit, and once I'm with someone, I often enjoy what little success I have.

      Depending on the vividness and control I have, I do plan on attempting some other dream goals.
