      Summoning people

No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to bring the people of my choice into my dream.

I'll keep imagining a certain person being around the corner, behind a door in a different room, anywhere. It just won't work.

I know that you need to believe in things to make them work, but when you failed to do it a hundred times, you kinda stop believing :/. It's a vicious circle, I already know it's not going to work thus it's impossible for me to really believe it.

At first I thought it didn't work because it's something that's impossible in real life, but I learned to fly in a matter of minutes and I can put my hand through a wall without trouble (I sometimes use that as my reality check)

      Any help?

I haven't had any experience with summoning people myself but I have heard that asking a dream character where the person you wish to summon is can work.

It is not always true that believing you can do something will make it work. Dream powers are like real life skills, they need to be trained and focused. If anyone out there instantly had great dream control, I am suprised. You should approach a new dream power like a normal skill. You do not decide to be a high diver and move straight into backflips off the highest board.
For summoning DC skill I would try something like this. Have your first goal just to see a general type of person in an area that already has DCs. If all the people are black in your dream decide one person in the crowd must be white and look for him. Or, in a school setting, decide some of the students must be cheerleaders and look for them.
I would then move to controlling the flow of DCs. Try to go some where and plan on there being no DCs. Try to find a setting with only female DCs and stuff like that. As your brain develops its summon DC skills you arre working your way up to advanced summon DC skills, such as make DC materialize, change one DC so it becomes DC of your choice, or locate a specific person.

When you have to summon something closing your eyes or maybe going to another room could help... Remember that when you dream you don't have the absolute control, sometimes some DC could obstruct you or ignore your request...Asking clearly the dream itself (not a DC) to show this person (for ex when i will open my eyes "Mary" will be here) can be a good method(at least it works with me ^^)...

I never really interact with other DC's, they're basically puppets. Whenever a DC is in a room and I don't want them around, I pick them up and throw them out of the window.

DC= Dream Characters and they're not puppets don't understimate them they're part of your subconscius... Try to interact with them and you will probably discover something more interesting and odd than sex...

Like reaching for dream pills in your pocket, you can summon people of your choice the same way. Of course not from the pocket, but from a partially openned door. Jus open a door partially then reach inside to grab someone's hand. Once you feel you have firmly grabbed someone just pull her out. This is a two stage setup so it works much better than the "finding someone behind the corner" technique as that requires you to be affirm on too many things at once.

I've found it to be very difficult to summon specific people. What I can usually do is find random people by searching. I simply walk around until I find someone who interests me.

I summon people by flying in a direction until I find them standing there or whatever. Then, because it's usually I person I summoned to have sex with... well then we bang.

Yes i can summon someone (a guy) that i have a very much strong connection with spiritually and telepathically. Reason why is because it's been so many years since we last seen each other (15 yrs!) No phone number, no facebook name, nothing. Yet we still have that bond since we last parted, he was my first love, and seems like will always be.
Only way you can summon someone in particular is when there is a great deal of energy between you both, and on my situation it is very strong.
When i feel or sense he is telepathically communicating or i just feel a need for him to be there, i call to him telepathically and actually meditate in the dream. I know it sounds odd but i have very much experience in controlling dreams.
But when i did this (twice already) he appears and the energy is astounding and i feel tremendous amount of love and positivity! I really really love him unconditionally, and sense the same back.
The reason why i am doing this is because i been having dreams of him a lot without me even summoning him, so it tells me he wants my company in dreams.
I still do wonder about him and where he is, i know he thinks the same, we both do telepathic communications sometimes. I hear, feel, sense, everything he is thinking in dream and not.
true teenage lovers now i am 28.

I had the problem before were I just imagined them right before me. They usually satyed just for a few seconds. When I decided to tell me that it would work because it was a dream, then I summoned them with no problems. My point is to just belive that you can do it, and it will work.

i usually shout their names and they'll reply. Works almost every time. Try that or some passive control.

Hmm.. Personal advice from my first experience..

I was lucid for a good while, hanging out in my living room with a girl I had interest in and my family.. So after a while I thought.. Man I wouldn't mind engaging in some less than holy acts, so I decided I would go upstairs in my house with the expectation of them not being there when I was back, and what do you know! Let's just say I was able to do something I wanted to do for years but do to certain social boundaries was never able to go through with.. Oh the wonderful tools of your mind!

for me it always worked to shout the person's name while thinking of the last time we met in a dream and walking around into the general direction of that last meetingplace. however, my dream-characters never have any definite face, they sort of shapeshift without shapeshifting. so i really don't care for appearance but only for the dream-character's personality. I do know of a method for summoning a dream-character who does look in a particular way, but it's rather complicated and I didn't try it out enough to judge how effective it is:

find a dream-character who comes close to appearance or personality to whom you seek. move your right arm in front of the body, hand in front of your left hip. the left arm likewise behind your back, so that the left hand is behind your right hip. now create the feling as if you were falling or as if a wind would blow from undrneath. you must feel that wind stroking over your arms and how it gets detoured from its upwards-course by your arms position, imagine this wind spinning around you. this I call the spinning-technique. all this time keep your vision focused on the person you found. through the spinning that person will change shape, with your arms you can control how quickly that change happens. just imagine that in reality the dream-self isn't as fixed in space as you might have thought, try to believe that your dream-self along with the whole world around it was really just spinning with you as center and you did never notice. through the arm position you slightly alter the speed of this spinning, sort of tuning to another frequence of this spinning and thereby see things you didn't ee before because of them spinning by your eyes so quickly that you couldn't focus. this way you will end up elsewhere facing soneone else. then you may walk up to another person and repeat. be careful though, one direction will make you wake up and the other direction will make your dreams become weirder. considering it's a real-life person you probably don't want the dream to become weirder, so waking up is an actual danger.

alternatively you could try spinning around your axis for real, but this way you wont be able to perceive this person you did choose as a close match, the results would then be extremely random.

btw, closing your eyes in a dream is a really really bad idea, many have reported of either being unable to open them again, or of opening them for real and waking up this way. the dream-self simply has no eyelids. just try that: put your hands in front of your face, and you will notice that regardless of hands it isn't getting dark, you can see through your hands. so what good could eyelids do?

      Summoning (!!!)

      Wow

A couple of mornings a go I hipnapop-dreamed that I wanted to meet a specific person. I learned how to do it in a dream school that same night but that dream was never remembered.

I am not much of a dreamer, lucid or otherwise. I am more of a hipnagoger and hipnapoper. My going to sleep (hipagogic) imagery and waking (hypnapopic) imagery is the "thing" with me.

Two mornings ago I woke with me trying to meet someone.

I opened a door in front of me (in my hipnapop). There stood a man in a robe but he was not the one I wanted so I closed the door and opened it again. A different person (maybe Dream Character) stood there but that one wasn't who I wanted either.

I did it again and again wishing to meet who I wanted to meet. I woke up doing this.

Once awake I toyed with the idea of posting it to my dream journal but didn't.

Now I think it has something to do with deep dream knowledge to be found in this and other threads where you guys post, esspecially that new guy gander.

I don't use doors to meet specific person in my dream, either the person appears when i think of them, or i wander to find them. I have a very different dream approach and can use mind control through dream, and telepathic occurances.

      Dear hathor

      Yes hathor

Though I've been "at it" forever, I hardly ever remember dreams let alone get lucid. But I recon there are many different "species" of dreamer's. Most dream-species not even been named yet.

Species as different as the Goldfish and the Bluewhale, Horse and Eagle, Blind Mole who lives in a hole and frog, dragonfly, penguin and so on and so forth.

Me, I get spontainious "precog-sync's" (hipnogogic imagery of precognative synchronicities) a lot.

I interpret that waking thingy that happened 2 mornings ago as a heads-up about finding this thread and you very interesting guys.
