Did you read Eragon before watching it? I have only read the (first) book, but haven't seen the movie since I heard it was supposed to be bad.

No, I mostly don't bother with sword-and-sorcery because, well, I've already read LotR

Granted, that's from the guy re-'reading' the audio books of the whole Shanarra series, the first of which is as blatant a Tolkien rip-off as you could make without republishing the original word-for-word in a different font and claiming it as original work. Oddly enough, I'm wrapping up The Elfstones of Shanarra right now (I started with the Word & Void series and went chronologically by events rather than publication), and Eragon struck me as having borrowed rather liberally from that book, though it's hard to tell in a whole genre that's so derivative.

      TRON: Legacy.
The first movie with a storyline I could actually see plot holes in, which isn't good. But the visuals were... O.O'

I virtually never watch movies. The last "real" movie I saw was probably The Shining many moons ago. It was so-so.

I did watch a few cheesy anime movies recently though. LOL. Appleseed (from the 1980s) was good stuff.

The book is so much better than the movie. The movie skips a lot of stuff that's important later on in the series. Overall, it's not worth watching.

You should read the rest of them XD I'm halfway through re-reading Eldest at the moment. Brisingr's good too. Just waiting for the next one goddammit.

The last movie I saw was Whip It! I really loved it since my early years were spent flying 'round my street on rollerskates and beating everyone's ass at blading races. Makes me want to go play a badass contact sport with hot indie boys thrown in.

I just checked out a bunch of movies at the library and re-watched them, Up In the Air, The Departed, Mystic River.

I just watched Soul Surfer last night.

I didn't expect much from this movie, I was thinking they would be throwing in a lot of stereotypes. But it was actually a really great movie in my opinion, and it was a true story. I recommend it.

The last movie i saw was the first part of Deathly Hollows. I thought it was an ok movie but the story of the deathly hallows and the animation of it was creepy and might inspire a nightmare.

That's funny, I'm going to my friend's house to watch it in an hour.

      ...Wait, did you say...
      ...Nightmares?

      ...Pfft!

Frankly speaking, I thought the animation was the only one beautiful and enjoyable part among the very few decent moments in the whole movie...

Fighting, the one with Channing Tatum. Wasn't watching it for the plot, obviously. Was pretty decent.

      I just watched Stardust.

Fan-fucking-tastic. That movie was very much in the same vein and equal in caliber to The Princess Bride.

Watched Shrek 2 again. One of the best comedies I've ever felt sore from the next day.

      I Love You, Man

it was alright, pretty light on the comedy though. I don't know if I laughed one time.

      Just watched Orpheus

It was very strange I was already acquainted with the Greek myth Orpheus so it sucked knowing the end but still a really great movie.

I just saw Atlas Shrugged based off of Ayn Rand's billion page novel. It was surprisingly engaging despite the fact that I disagree with Objectivist ethics. If anyone is interested in economics (or capitalist propaganda) you should check it out.

I went on a Korean kick yesterday with Oldboy and D-War. Oldboy was fascinating through the middle, but toward the end it just seemed like nothing but shock value and torture porn. D-War was way worth it for the visual effects--best movie dragons ever. It didn't have much else going for it, but would be great to throw up on a big screen with the sound off while people are hanging out.

      Splice.

Oh My. It was the strangest weirdest grossest most disturbing movie I have ever seen. Strange creatures running around having sex with humans trying to expand their race and humans raising them like it's their baby child. EWW.

I don't recommend this unless you are in the mood for something really... different. It wasn't horrible I guess.. just really..... weird.

I saw the movie May a few days ago. Now that's the most disturbing movie I have ever seen
Its about a woman who wants to collect body parts to make a human doll cuz her best friend is a doll hahah. It said it was a comedy, yeah right . I think they accidently put that there.
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

I just saw a boring movie.
It had no title, no scenes, and no actors.
      Also, my TV was unplugged.

      I've seen Hoodwinked recently.
The animation was disturbing in the beginning, but then I forgot about it and started to enjoy the movie. Rekommend
Awesome clip from the movie: Here
