Thread: Share your dream from last night in one sentence

I just realized something weird happened to me last night. I was about to sleep, thinking about something when I realized I was not in my bed anymore, but I was walking upstairs. The thing is that I could feel my body a little bit. I started to feel fear and to hear voices so I told myself 'MOVE! MOVE!' just like when you're in sleep paralysis and you can't move your body. Finaly I could and went back to my body. Probably it was just a dream but I've never experienced that.

I defended a girl

After being shot in the head, point-blank, while on a date, I could only lay there, fully-conscious and with my brain oozing out of the back of my head, while the people around me seemed only moderately concerned with my pending death; except for my date, who was so frantic that she couldn't even manage to dial 911.

(Ugh. One of the worst dreams I've ever had, and I only got about 4 hours of sleep. Not a great morning. )

A creepy dream-neighbour was stealing chocolate balls from me and my friends refrigerator, so whe was considering to put a padlock on it.

+ Playing blackjack at a table, buying a snack from the dealer who handed it to me over a 3-foot high clear plexiglass barrier, spied a former neighbor of mine who was behaving entirely deranged, walking around with severely squinted eyes (not the first time I've seen a DC with squinted eyes, weird) knocking into people and babbling, I'm riding in an office chair with wheels I roll right up to her and call her name, she opens her eyes widely as she recognizes me, and she says something about the correct words/grammar to use when discussing dachsunds -- she holds one of my seated legs between her standing legs and I think this is a bit inappropriate.

+ I'm trying to woo a crush by giving her pieces of strangely glowing minerals I find in the ground.

+ Driving in my childhood neighborhood I get chased at high speed by some bad guys.

Damn mom you just smoked a full gram of weed.

Nice variety again last night, dreams and fragments

+ (lucid) In my kitchen , sitting on a motorcycle, realized a car engine was running in the room, ran out to avoid dying (almost fainting), walking down the hallway some force pushed me into my room making me lucid, everything went black (argh, lucid in darkness sucks), tried to get visuals back for a while but woke up.

+ a male cat had somehow entered our home and was mating with our unspayed female cat, I was trying to eject the male cat.

+ teaching random DC buddies to fly, we jumped up and saw the night lights of the city from the sky, flew over the water and it was full of weird things like a destroyed Pentagon (the military building).

+ fun with a cute redhead until her bearded younger brother and his girlfriend interrupted, the brother's girlfriend and I spent the rest of the time comparing the redhead and her brother to each other to prove that he was the brother (eyes, hair, etc.).

+ toilet seats floating in a river full of things, I thought about grabbing them because they were the kind I had at home, I thought the boat left without me.

+ strange competition sort of like musical chairs involving two lines of people facing each other and jumping into the shrinking gaps on the other line, I asked one guy who was a native of the country I was in how to play but he shook his head and said he didn't know, I thought this was hilarious since this was that country's national pasttime.

+ you could sign up for a "crash course" in driving safety in some store, there was a price list including options that cost close to $2,000

+ a technician was repairing a hard disk drive where the "stabilizer" had fallen off of the platter, some guy asked how long the disk could work without the stabilizer and the tech answered "no more than 3 weeks."

+ I see inside my own mouth from outside, I see there's a giant hole in a molar that passes fully through the tooth, I think I'd better have that fixed right away

+ practicing a video game key sequence on a placemat, a guy comes by who wants to practice flying a ship in the game.

+ I see a guy who I think is Ph. Sc. walking up some steps from the back, he's carrying a guitar, I move around to see his face, it isn't him.

+ My parents are trying to get the right kind of cups

+ There's a huge electrical charging station with lots of cables, the prongs of thing I'm trying to charge keeps falling out of the outlet.

I took my sister's phone to school

(Experimented with DEILD attempts on every waking so alot of recall sacrificed)

+ (DO) A woman and I are in some chidlren's play-place (tubes), we take turns pulling each other out of stuck positions

+ A huge family is being cooked for, it's in a deli, there are lots of cats wandering around, I notice in particular a white cat with luxurious fur, and a scraggly older cat with dirty white fur

+ Driving with wife, I'm in passenger seat, she's not paying attention (on phone or something), I keep screaming "pull over! pull over!", I grab the wheel, we're skidding sideways across the road, we pull off on to a dirt road, we get out, my kids and I are walking and sinking into mud to waist depth, I'm concerned we'll drown, I tell my kids to move slowly so as not to sink deeper, we get out OK.

+ At boy scout camp, the patrol camps are all squished together in one small spot, the camps and areas are delineated by little 4-inch-high curbs made of dirt running everywhere in no particular pattern.

Spend entire night dreaming I'm with an old friend in the dog days of summer, we go to a wheat field where I become lucid and fly around, growing wild flowers over abandoned construction sites. Beautiful.

I tried to go to the gym, but my cell phone didn't work, my padlock wouldn't open, and other people suck at parking in the lot.

I saw her for first time in a year. In my dream, I miss her

I took my razor from my brother

+ in a concrete underground bunker, some workman has removed the toilet, I see the whole in the ground where it used to be, he quizzes me about the bolts in the ceiling which he doesn't like, I say they're there to secure some thing

+ in a large hall with lots of benches, I'm trying to get ahead of some people who are walking ahead of me, I can't seem to get by them

I moved to a school in Europ, and all my friends where there!

3. There's a young female girl at a festival that looks at me before the event initiates.

4. Had a false awakening, got up from the bed, went to the living room and glanced at the television to see someone that showed up in another movie, relatives seem to be silent, and I miss the perfect chance to become lucid.

DJ later...I see an odd constellation again tonight but this time it makes me lucid and I fly into space and use Sivason's tip towards the moon ending up in a big room with moon-like gravity, also towards moving distant stars but only arrive in a wavey deep space area and teleport back to the previous room.
