Ive been trying to have a LD for a whole week, and I havent even come close.


People on shrooms are the smart ones. Why on earth would I go thru all this trouble when I can just buy myself some LD's

Zhaylin, my opinion is probably not agreeable too many but I'd rather a human lifespan be a lot shorter than it is now. It would make things a lot more intense but as for time I genuinely think it is too slow. I heard the line as you get older it goes faster but it seems to be doing the opposite and I've been finding it quite disturbing. It gives me a heavy feeling, but that's all I meant by it.

Shorter I can't imagine having less time to work and play with. Interesting stance though

Rant: I'm awake My appointment was for 9AM. What the heck was I thinking?

No girlie exam, but I had a general checkup. Turns out those throat "pockets" are completely normal and common. Nothing to do about them short of having your tonsils removed. She told me to gargle a lot, to start using saline nose spray regularly and to take allergy pills regularly. She wrote me a script for Zofran (anti-dizziness) and she upped my Gabapentin. I asked if my leg pain could be connected to my Ehlers Danlos and she said it's most likely neurological because the Gaba helps. As a reference, she told me some people take 4,000mg Gaba a day My 200mg is a "drop in the bucket" lol So I'm to take an extra dose at bedtime, monitor any improvement and go from there.

She is setting me up with a Neuro appointment though... 2 hours away
Tomorrow I go back to my Dr.'s office for my blood work.

It's great having all that out of the way.

Rant: half my students have had really bad headaches this week. I've had the headache for two weeks now. It's always in one side and comes and goes but when it peaks I literally have to stop what I'm doing for a few seconds DX one of my poor kids has been in the classroom at lunch three days in a row because the noise in the cafeteria made his head hurt so much he got nauseous and had a fever of 102 today my poor babies <3

I'm pretty sure it's nothing to do with the heating, as it's finally started to get warmer and the heat hasn't been on in the school... Pretty sure it's some virus going around DX

University has been going pretty well two weeks down the track. My maths lecturer is very entertaining, however my mechanics lecturer just reads of slides and makes us do questions non stop, but it does help as that subject is the hardest of the lot. I'm whizzing through the computing course, having been programming for a few years helps tremendously, even if it is a new language. These past few weeks have highlighted my lack of a social life though :/.

YAY, Blair! I hope school continues wonderfully (and a bit less boring )

Rant: I have to go to bed soon but I don't want to. I want to get on my games. I'm going in for blood work tomorrow morning, however, so I can't eat or drink anything after midnight. Blah.
Rave: Upping my Gabapentin had outstanding results! I fell asleep quickly last night and stayed asleep (besides waking up cold and covering with more blankets once).
Rave: I got an advance from hubby and picked up the meds my Dr. recommended. I LOVE the nasal spray. It's actually called "Little Remedies". It's just a saline spray. I have no trouble or qualms with it in the least. I've always hated every nasal spray I've ever tried (even Afrin's 'No drip' line).

Rave-ish? I looked at the Claritin and it was around $25. Then I saw Equate (generic version) was just under $8. for the same stuff. I don't see how companies can make any money if there's a cheaper option. Why would anyone buy name brand?
I took one this afternoon and I don't see any improvements. My eyes are just extra dry and irritating . My ALLERGIES cause dry, itchy eyes lol so if my nose doesn't improve quickly, I'll probably give up on Loratadine.
I need to dig out my eyedrops and start using them regularly...

Other than all that, it's been a nice, somewhat peaceful day. Hubby was a little cranky at lunch and I had to deal with too many people for comfort, but other than that... peaceful

Oh yeah: Rave/Rant: I bough a tiny bag of Jelly Bellies earlier. I know they're going to kill my stomach, but I couldn't help myself
But WHY will they kill my stomach? I can eat sweets. Certain sweets, however, kill me: cotton candy, jelly beans, MARSHMALLOW'S. Hubby has sugar pills (cafarate, carafate, something like that) that's supposed to help ulcer pain by coating the stomach- those kill me. It's weird and makes no sense (I can down an entire cake- any cake- and the worst I'll get is reflux... yet 3 little marshmallows will have be doubled over, feeling as if someone sucker punched me )

Rant: Coming out of a store lot there is enough room for those who want to turn right, and turn left. So why is it, that some people drive directly in the middle and block both cars behind them? Serenity now!

Got mugged for the first time, dude took my cellphone :/ it was kinda scary and I'm still kinda bummed about it but I guess it was inevitable. Almost everyone I know in my town has been robbed at least once... I like living here, but I also hate it.

Zhaylin you have Ehlers Danlos???? Do you have the hypermobility kind? And elastic skin? It's probably the coolest (if you have the hypermobility kind, the others not so much) but also shitty disorder.

Rant: I forgot why I came here now. Oh yeah.... My group for one of my classes SUCKS! My god I do not like them.
Within 10 mins I caught one of them telling the others about my eyes in the most unsubtle way ever (whispering but I CAN SEE YOU BODY LANGUAGE, DUMBASS). I was acting as the patient in our group and it's supposed to be like.... serious role playing. Like.... guys you are supposed to be nurses, and the one saying stuff already worked in healthcare. I don't even care about people talking about it, I'm used to being a freak. But it pisses me off that someone like that can get a job in healthcare at all. I'd like to see her talk about a patient in front of them and I'd tell her off in the worst way I could think of, really make her feel like shit.

Then later on she comes up to me trying to act all friendly but in that fake, condescending kind of way, similar to how some people do to old people....

Research has shown that talking to patients like that literally delays their healing, makes them more dependent, and lowers self-esteem.
Honestly I just want to kill people like that. I wish we lived a primitive lifestyle sometimes so I could slaughter morons like her without consequence.

Now, the good news. I found a really nice girl in my other class, she's good to talk to and seems interesting, really wanna get to know her more. Also I thought I was stuck with two people I don't really like for that class group as well, but I managed to end up with two others instead who seem alright (and one is super hot) so that's good too. If I got stuck with the other ones I would have ragequit immediately.

So I've been getting stink bugs lately. They're big, clumsy, and annoying. But I never smell a thing. I don't think my sense of smell is great to begin with, plus I assumed people exaggerate because I kill them all the time and never notice anything.

But... a guy from school was just saying the other day how horrible they smell and that he never kills them inside. I was like, "Wut?" Then I read that some people can't smell stink bugs. So now I'm thinking my entire place probably smells like a stink bug. Well, at least I can't smell it.

lol, Sefalik. We've been getting overrun with Stink Bugs too. I don't kill them (because I don't even like killing bugs). I've never smelled them- dead or alive.

Tommo, yep. Hypermobility. All my life, I've just called it "glorified double-jointedness" I don't have it to the extent of being cool though. I've always been just really flexible. Never could do the splits though I had to wear a knee brace as a teen because I hyper-extended my knees too much. Kids called me "Robo-girl", though, so I wore it to school then stuck it in my locker. It got me out of taking gym though (but I took karate ).
I can subluxate (sp) my shoulders at will as well as my hips. That's about the extent of my EDS super powers (well, I can also easily put my ankles behind my neck and spider/crab walk easily)

Chigurh, I know what you mean. I bigger gripe, for me, though is when people stand around in the middle of the aisles talking

Rant: Loratadine is supposed to be non-sedating. Why do I fall asleep a couple hours after taking it then I'm going to start taking it before bed.
Rant: I still need to hang up and put away all of my clothes... I need to organize my room... I need to finish Paula's lanyard... I need to start trying to make a fanny pack. I don't want to do anything though
Rant: I might not have enough e-juice to last me until Monday night...

Which brings me to another sort of rant. I have read the difference between dependency and addiction, but it still sounds like the same flipping thing to me. The ONLY difference seems to be that you keep doing one even though you know it's bad for your health or dangerous. There's a movement under foot trying to de-demonize nicotine. It's so intimately connected to smoking and cancer that people can't even think of one without thinking of the other. I listened to someone explain that nicotine in and of itself is not addictive. But you CAN be dependent on it. . Would I rob a bank or kill someone for a cigarette? Absolutely not. If I was really jonesing, I might steal some money out of my kids piggy bank though.

This weekend, I:

Went to the gym twice
Did my grocery shopping
Changed the oil/filter and replaced my parking lights
Cooked 8 meals worth of food for throughout the week (and cleaned up the dishes/mess afterwards)
Did all the wash
Vacuumed/mopped the floor
Bought new 'work' clothes

And other general cleaning. Still didn't get enough stuff done. Ah well, next weekend then.

I am on a general cargo ship now. Making that big money now and seeing a lot of places, going from spain to norway to germany! The downside is that I share a toilet and shower with two sailors because the accommodation of this ship is pretty small. No worries, only 4 more months and 1 week! Then I will get my drivers license which I am already studying for. Chief mate gave me a study program, fuck yes. The engineer is a russian communist dick, fuck him. The captain is a sweet guy he gave me a sweater and a hat. The philipino guys are fucking awesome, these guys really have a big heart but they do get passive aggressive if they don't like something which can be troubling.

I can't say I've ever been mugged before but, one of my three houses at the time were burglarized before. Well, the guy who did it didn't get away with the copper piping that he was trying to steal. He was chased down and caught down the street just before the cops came. It feels like your personal privacy has been violated, you know? *Half awake*

My rant is allergies. I started taking that Claritin and saline spray... and my allergies got WORSE So I bought Rhinocort today, per Pharmacists recommendation. For $14. it better work He said (and the package claimed) it can even help with my miserable dry, itchy eyes. I'll believe it when it happens.
Rant: I am now broke.
Rant: My hair is growing out and my bangs keep getting in my eyes
Rant: I slept like crap last night. Dreamed I helped a woman give birth. I told her to use the doorway as stirrups and the baby came flying out lol. Had some other weird dreams too.

Rave: I've been in a minecraft mood. It's been a nice change of pace.

Rant: 7d2d STILL hasn't updated.
Rant: We are currently at 448.3 GB of our 450. month limit. Today is the last day of the billing cycle If we go even .1 GB over, it will cost us $20.

Rave: I'm REALLY enjoying this Klone Berries e-juice. I like it better than the Nutz I usually vape.

Rave: My blood work came back in good order.

School has been so stressful lately. But I just gotta hang in there, since there's only 4 months left until I graduate. I also feel bad for missing quite a few days of school the past few weeks. But my infection is still affecting my life in a bad way. I have to go to the hospital again for a scan on Friday and then followed by surgery next week. And I'm really hoping this will solve everything. But I'm afraid it won't, and then this whole surgery will be all for nothing? But I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Honestly I've had enough, I'm tired of being in pain most days. And I really hate it that I can't have sex with my girlfriend yet, since we're both completely ready for it.

Things are going really well with me and my girlfriend though. We live about an hour driving from each other, but yet we meet up like 3 or 4 times a week. And I'm always so happy when I'm with her. This is the first time in my life where I actually feel loved. I don't think I've ever been this happy before.

And one more rant, why do people have to be so rude? We're organising some kind of event for school, and we have to go to different companies and try and get them to sponsor us. I went to this company today and they were actually really mean towards me. Like this is something I have to do for school, if you're not up for it, why can't you just be polite and just say no? Instead of insulting me lol

I was wondering why I was so tired all week. Well Oops that was actually pain. Low to medium level of pain in my back all week. I somehow managed tu turn that shit out and now that I'm finally relaxing it hurts even more.
I feel kinda dumb to be honest. Having my brain going "chronical pain = just tired" doesn't seem healthy >_>
