Also, I have been getting a lot of time to hang out with my friends lately, and it feels good to relate to others for once.

One of the places I applied for a job at called back yesterday, which sent me into pure bliss. Interview was held today, and it went swell - will make edit here on what happens.

Anyway, I'm happy. Because... I dunno, I'm usually happy. And when I'm not happy, I say, "Fuck this," and I become happy. Or I drink beer; same thing, really.

But really, tax return was deposited yesterday. Overtime $$$ is adding up. I might actually be able to buy a house! Assuming I don't blow the cash on useless stuff... at least I don't have to pay for weed anymore, and that frees up a lot of cash actually.

Lol it's so simple, it's basic maths. If you do anything ZERO times then it will always be zero, it's pure logic. If you grab a 5 and multiply it 0 times, how the fuck can it be 5? Lmao, well anyway the answer is 7.

I don't think it's simple, it's purely faulty. parenthesis should be included.

Whenever I see these questions I wonder is there any way to even derive them, I mean in what circumstance will you end up with needing to solve 6-1x0+2/2. It's not solvable because it isn't a real equation.

Today was bonafied sandal weather...I don't think I could have worn more green!

Also I lingered just long enough to hear my Happy song on the radio (which had me swingin like Carlton) AND then somehow managed a perfect game in Yahtzee without even realizing it until after my final roll.

I smiled and laughed til my face hurt more than once, got a compliment from a complete stranger, AND slept in and still got to watch cartoons.

I'm happy that i'm meeting and seeing other people that have similar mindsets as me and also to learn more about peoples cultures..... also Vanilla Coke. That makes me all kinds of happy.

I almost forgot til just now, that the other day I rescued a ladybug.

Even though I was running late for work, I noticed it as I was shutting the window.
And for a moment I contemplated just leaving it there, but then I thought how sad it would be if it get lost and died in my apartment.

So I grabbed one of the paper balloons I had on the table, and thought I'd at least try to help it find its way out. And believe it or not it worked!

It made me smile...even though the whole thing was a little weird, and I ended up being late for work.

Totally worth it, though.

Just apologized to someone by email for ignoring her for quite a long time. It's weird how good it can feel to just tell someone that you're sorry.
The guilt had begun dawning on me.
Then I listened to some Romanian poetry. Feel pretty good now.

OT: after 3 months of spending hours and hours of my free time at the gym, i decided to take it easy this week and just relax. so today i decided to just go out and enjoy the weather. and it felt really good to go out and take a long walk just to enjoy spring without feeling rushed. i need more days like that.

I just watched two planes fly adjacent to one another all white through a sugary, cotton candy colored sky.

And amid all the noise of the street and city, I can still distinguish the sounds of the birds....cardinals among them, even.

These things make me happy and cheerful.

One very unusual tasting beer I had recently

This book saved me from a spider today.

Spoiler for long true story short:

Turns out he was uncomfortably close to where I was sitting at the time actually. I'll hopefully never know how close the thing actually got to me.

When I discovered it though I was too scared at first to even get close enough to catch it in a cup, and when I tried to it reared up and... >_< looked at me so freaky!

My first choice was recipe card and a glass actually, but in my fright I judged the card neither large enough nor sturdy enough so I found the cookbook.

I was so scared by this tiny spider though (no more than an inch big) that I tried coaxing it aloud...asking it to move to a flatter, less cornery place where I could catch it easier. Can you imagine?

But eventually it did, I finally got the nerve to spring the trap, it crawled up the glass as planned, and I slipped the book cleanly underneath no problem. *huge sigh of relief on my part*

The spider likely suffered it's fair share of fright too... I had to hurriedly finagle two doors open and shut with no hands, and by the time I could get outside he was running circles around the rim if the upturned glass trying to get out.

I set the glass, the book, and the spider inside all in the grass, lifted the glass, and RAN LIKE HELL

...looking back only once after the first door to ensure it wasn't still attatched to me somehow.

Of all the ways it could have went down, overall I was happy with the result.

Hurray for small victories!

Seriously, Cry and Complain is crushing this thread in an unfortunate way.

I am cheerful and happy today because I put in for vacation time that my Father wants to take a trip with. He even stopped by especially to my workplace to remind me of the dates, on his way to buy ice cream of all things. My sister has asked for the same time off too so to miss it would be unthinkable.

In my line of work you have to be super stingy with the vacation time, but I have so muched saved up at this point that I feel like Scrooge McDuck going for a rare dip into the money vault.

I'm freakin' happy because last night I broke a nearly 3-week lucid dry spell! It was a pretty lame lucid, but it was a lucid dream none the less.

I'm gonna see my cousin today finally! Been like a year!
