Talking Omg, i had my first two lds!!!!!!!!!

Okay so wow. That was insane.

I remember, I was going to bed and there was a cat on my bed (i dont own one but i was at a friends house). I got in bed next to it and it turned around and called me a "cunt punt", I was like... thats not right, so I pinched my nose and i was like IM DREAMING!!! unfortunatly.. I woke up. After waking up, I got dressed to go do my daily thing, I done a reality check, as I usually do, but this time.. i could breath through my nose.

OMG IM LUCID DREAMING AGAIN! (false awakening aswell )

I could not believe how real it looked.. I never imagined it would look this good. This time, I controlled it. I was telling everyone about how im dreaming and control it. I picked up a coffee mug, went outside and used it as a cannon with my mouth to make the buildings explode. First attempt, didn't do anything. So second time, I was like.. you WILL explode. But it was like PS1 kinda pixalated explosion. Next time, I was like BIG AND LOUD! and bam, it sure was. I was (and still am) completely amazed. After that, I got in the car with the people and then after a few minutes it faded out.

But holy shit, that was so amazing!

Congrats! I know how you feel, happy for you. Remember this surprised/happy feeling and recall it everytime you question your reality when doing daytime awareness. Your mind will start associate you being happy with lucid dreaming and will help you achieve both. Happy dreams

dont let any cat ever call you a cunt punt.

similar thing happened when i first got lucid - woke up immediately but had another lucid the same night.
its like as soon as your brain pulls it off once it gets on a roll - at least for the evening hahaha

That’s great. Congrats for your Lucid dreams. You lost lucidity in your first dream and got it back again that really sounds interesting. Well Done.

I think I have had 3 lucid dreams in the past week. I'm sleep, but seems like I'm awake. Everything is the same. I'm lying in bed just like I was before I fell asleep. When I realize I am dreaming I get nervous and afraid. I dream I try and call for my gf. She answers (but don't) as I'm dreaming. I try and make myself wake up. When I think I have succeeded in waking up I realize I'm still dreaming. I then stand up and hit my head on the wall to try and wake up (still dreaming). I then grab the remote to turn the tv on, thinking it will wake me (still dreaming). I have a whole normal conversation with my gf in this process also. Scares the crap of me. 31 yo male. Is there anything to be afraid of? I feel like death is there or something. Very weird feeling.

Oh and the dream lucid dream I had the other night, I woke up, only to fall back asleep and continue the same dream. I dreamed I was arguing with my gf about something. I woke up thinking we actually argued. Seeing her sleeping, I went back to sleep continuing the argument and I pour soda on her side of the bed. She got a towel and wiped up the soda and put a sheet down (I was dreaming this). Woke up that morning apologizing about pouring the drink on her side of the bed, which apparently never happened. Another time, I was dreaming someone was holding me down and I couldn't yell. Very vivid. I knew I was in a dream, but tried to nudge my gf and yell for her. Cover started covering my face and felt like I was losing air. Note: I have a slight not diagnosed sleep apnea I think. My gf tells me I stop breathing for a not normal amount of time, but not lately. I don't think I like lucid dreams lol.

I'm sure alot of people are afraid of it. I'm also sure you can overcome your fear aswell and instead of being scared, having a wonderful experience in your lucid dreams

I'm reading about all these great LD's. Why does mine have me stuck in my bed, in my room, feeling afraid. If I could fly, that would be great.

It sounds like sleep apnea makes you lucid but you're in sleep paralysis at least some of the time. The other dreams, where you're in your bed and get up and walk around the house etc sound like false awakenings.

You need to train yourself to always do reality checks whenever you wake up - before you do anything else. If you can make yourself realize you're dreaming then you;ll be lucid! But the difference is, because you used a reality check, it should be a more stale and powerful lucidity than what you're having, which seem to be very low awareness.

Get used to always doing RCs when you wake up - learn stabilization techniques and think about using them when you realize you're lucid - then when you do manage to get lucid you have a better chance of taking control.

I appreciate the advice very much. I do quickly realize I'm dreaming, but then I try so hard to wake myself. Next time I'll just try and go with the flow and try and take control.

I just seen where you said RC. I do a reality check every time. Before I posted this morning, I had a LD. My RC was grabbing my phone. That made me search dreams, which lead me to lucid dreams and this great forum.
