Especially since you don't necessarily start dreaming as soon as you doze off. There really is no way to tell, unless you are just pro at telling time in your head. And even that is questionable, because of time dilation and gaps in memory.

about 5 seconds, I became lucid too fast and woke up

Low-quality lucidity in which I didn't fully comprehend the implications of the fact that I'm dreaming: 2-6 minutes (was hard to tell)
      Full lucidity: about 15 seconds

Makes me wonder... Out of all the coma victims out there, there has got to be at least one of them who was a learned oneironaut. Just think what was going through his mind the first few days of the coma. "Ugh, it's been ten dreams and I still haven't woken up... what's going on here?"

Edit: hmm, now that I'm reading about comas, perhaps comatose patients don't dream in the first place.

A couple seconds, maybe. I barely get past breathing through my pinched nose and realizing I'm dreaming before the plot takes back over and I forget what I was trying to do. That or I just wake up.
Dream goals: (X) Realize I'm dreaming for once, dammit! ( ) Maintain control for more than two seconds, dammit!

I had a WILD that was one continuous dream and I woke up when I got a text a little over an hour later. I assumed a WILD initiated dream started directly from the waking state..

But, I believe a little over an hour.

It is difficult to tell. My longest was probably about 15-20 minutes (subjectively), but it may have been more like an hour. There was some kind of adventure that I was never able to completely remember, but it might be because the dream plot skipped. I could only remember the 15 minutes or so with much clarity.

I'm rather surprised that some of the more experienced members have only lasted their longest a few seconds. That's gotta be disappointing! Hopefully you can learn to prolong them, it's just so rewarding.

I've had about 4 solid LD's since late last year. Most were about 10 seconds, but I had one that lasted about 5-10 minutes.

ive had some where i slip in and out of lucidity a couple of times, which feel like they last far longer than i am asleep for, however the lucid moments are never that long. in terms of one period probably about 30 mins, although i have recently chained some for perhaps 3 or 4 periods of about 20 minsish. i am going to have one of these chains in the morning

however my dream watch is very unreliable

some non lucids feel completely like i have just been through days of a holiday dream. i remember being in the dream counting down each day until i know i have to go home. i am up for the idea that the brain fills in gaps and such, but i do believe with good practice you can dilate a dream to last for longer than you sleep in reality

But you can, when I wake up during the night, check the time then go back to sleep. Always do a +-10 minute gap when I wake up again to see how long the dream was like. So, using that method, the longest would be 1:30 hours.

Off the top of my head, I would say my longest lucid dreams last around 2 hours. That is a super long dream. That would possibly have a false awakening or two, some sleep paralysis/ dream re-entry, ect. A dream like that feels like it lasts a lifetime. The false memories and imagined future expectations compound to create epic tales. A more sane, good, long lucid dream, for me, would be 30-45 minutes.

My longest lucid was probably about 15-30mins and as mentioned previously, I kept thinking that it's lasting a long time XD

About an hour. It was actually 2 lucids chained though. Generally when I WILD the first 10 minutes are poor quality and the dream will normally fade out. I then DEILD and the quality is much better and it lasts much longer.

      about 4-6 minutes

if you count the brief lucid dream before it then 5-7 minutes

It lasted the whole dream (maybe 15 min). When I get lucid it's either in the end of a dream , just before I wake up, or some minutes into the dream. Never had any vivid lucid dreams and I can't really control 'em totally, so they never last very long.

Subjectively it lasted for several hours. But that was a rare case, usually it's only like 5-15 minutes. Part of the dream was that it was lucid, there were like 10 DCs who all claimed to be other lucid dreamers, and we were all practicing different forms of control. It was wicked awesome, but I'm still not sure if it really counts as a lucid dream, though it was great practice for control.

I'm gonna be honest, I've had only 3 successful LD's so far, in a few months time.
The last one was a DILD, happened this morning, believe it or not it lasted for about 10-15 minutes!
I think one of the reasons why it lasted so long was because a friend was with me in the dream and we wanted to dream the same dream.
So I was constantly telling him what I'm seeing to make sure we're dreaming the same thing. I also told him things such as looking around the room and rubbing your hands together so his dream wouldn't fade out.
I think that made me very concious about the dream and very easy to control what I was seeing.

Successful LD's: DILD: [1] WILD [1] SP/FA: [1] FA: [3] or more, in the past I have had FA's in the morning with Sinterklaas (Dutch Santa)...
      Goals: Grow up lol

At least 1 full and long day event in dream time definitely more than 24hrs of day as there's hardly night in my dreams.
Felt like fast forward recall when I woke.
