mostly short moments:

+ my niece & sister have left my childhood home, but the priest is coming; my dad's sliced open all the very sugary looking muffins (there's a pumpkin pie one) on the platter and sampled some, they look good; Stalin comes for tea(?)

+(f) the long-barrel shotgun with laser sighting is mounted to the ceiling, it's used to keep (students?) under control?

+ at work (B, Inc.), I'm leaving, but I'm trying to make sure the code will compile for when I archive it and take it to my new company, the build environment may be different there, I wonder about the Alpha processor code.

+ sampling ice cream with wife in the "Just Coffee" store arrive with family in car to outside the "Just Coffee" place [they only have coffee there], I say "yeah I could use a boost", look through the windows trying to see the insides of the store, I see napkins and condiments like a ketchup bottle on a counter, inside we see they have snacks and ice-cream, my son S2 voices his disappointment at the selection, in the ice cream aisle my wife wants me to take a sample but I won't since it's not right to do that, I see a chunk of circular ice-cream sandwich where wedge (for samples) was taken out, maybe it's OK to sample, I take a bite from a medium-sized unwrapped/open chunk of green (mint?) ice cream and it tastes severely of freezer-burn, the cookies-n-cream open sample chunk is much better, I point out to my wife repeatedly that the phone number of the clerk is written on the ice cream, then the clerk is there and I tell him that the cookies-n-cream is much better than the green one.
