Lucid Time!

So then, after sleeping most of the afternoon away and being up for most of the night, I fell asleep around 8:00am. Expected nothing in terms of dreams/lucidity, but it seems as though I at least got a little bit of lucidity.

I decided to use this game I found, universe sandbox to try and re-create some of the scenes from one of my outer space dreams this time around. Though these dreams still appear to be utterly random in nature.


-Something to do with a speedboat crash.

-I was skiing on a completely unfamiliar slope. One of my skis seemed to be dragging in the snow. I fell over and did the splits but for some reason it didn't hurt. I was stuck in deep snow though. Another family came to help me out.

-Something to do with a bunch of orange tabby kittens sleeping together in a pile.


So the dream had something to do with traveling through a wormhole to another planet. The wormhole was orbiting next to a white star, something like this.



I can recall the spacecraft that was used to travel through the wormhole was heading for a nearby planetary system orbiting a gas giant. There was a planet orbiting the gas giant that was similar to earth, though a little smaller and with thicker atmosphere.

As it approached, it looked something like this:



The spacecraft landed and the people got out. The spacecraft was rather small and there were only four or five people in white spacesuits. The suits looked more like armor than spacesuits.

The people on the spacecraft eventually had to return to their home star system. They were talking about how the wormhole on their end was much larger than on the end here. Supposedly the wormhole back at their home star system was some kind of wormhole hovel where a whole bunch of wormholes linked to. They had somehow discovered this by traveling through it to one star system that with a slight tweak they could wind up traveling to any place in the galaxy.


I was in an all white room, about 20 feet by 60 feet. The place felt strangely familiar, like I had been here as a kid or something. It also had the feeling of being a couple stories underground. The whole room was full with toys. I felt like a kid as well. I felt shorter than normal. I wanted to play with the Legos. I began looking through the different boxes of blocks and action figures trying to find Legos.

I then recognized a dreamy feeling and became lucid. I began using the boxes of toys to stabilize the dream. I thing that the dream had started with appearing in the white room, it felt a little bit like a WILD in fact.

I started talking with the older, a boy with long black hair. He was about ten. There was a younger boy with blonde hair, about 5. There were two girls, both about ten and five as well.

I then noticed that the room only had one exit. I asked them what was outside. They told me that they didn't go that way, because their caretaker tried to leave the room and she never came back. So they had been stuck in the room full of toys playing for a very long time.

I told them that I knew things about this world that they wouldn't even understand. I told them that I would help to guide them out of the room. They seemed eager to go and started running into the doorway.

It was dark and eerie and the light was flickering. The ceiling got higher the further you got down the hallway. Partway down the hallway I jumped and fell forward, catching myself into flight only a few inches off the ground. From there I made my way to the front of the group, oriented myself upwards and got ready to guide them.

I saw that the hallway ended in a cavernous room with a labyrinth for a floor. The room was dark and appeared to be all white, like the previous room, though parts of it had collapsed. It had something of the feeling of a gymnasium.

I told the kids to slow down, but they started rushing into the labyrinth by themselves.

It was at this point that I realized that what I was undertaking was not pertinent to my lucid goals and that I might not be quite as in the moment as I would like.

The dream dropped through very quickly. I think I cut back to the wormhole around the giant white star for a moment. I was tumbling through space doing repetitive front-flips. I tried to steady myself and managed to do so.

I saw that for some reason I was holding onto one of the boxes of toys from the dream. I let it go and decided to just allow myself to wake up.

I started falling though. I then heard a presence speaking to me in the language of thought. It explained to me how I had accidentally created a temporal dissonance.

I asked what that was. It explained that physical matter is not so easily moved through time because it has weight. However, thoughts, memories and consciousness can easily be detached from your brain in one time and moved to another because they are metaphysical and not so easily bound by time.

It then told me I would be able to 'set' how much time I was going to travel back. This was based on a complicated resonance of harmonic frequencies. The first time I had available was 26 years 49 days 11 hours something minutes. That's longer than I've been alive. Give me a shorter time.

I got a time something like 13 minutes instead, and told the presence it could send me back in time now if it wanted to. I told it to keep me in the present. I hadn't made the right preparations yet. (Really I was just doubtful that this was just the dream playing a dumb trick.)

I woke up a moment later.
