Non-Lucid Dreams
I was in my hometown. I was going to ride a plane. I was packing my things and thought I was late. I hurried out to the airport, which turned out to be right beside our home, where the municipal building was supposed to be. The plane is no longer there. I was told that it's near the market area, and it turned the roads to a runway. I walked to the market. There's a fair. It was a sunny day. When I reached where I thought the plane was supposed to be, it was dark, night, and flooding. I think it was raining. I was on top of some sort post. I looked down at some of the debris being swept away by the flood. I didn't feel fear. A bit of fascination. I was walking along the road with mom and sis in a subdivision. Sis mentioned about renting a place. The one she's currently in is horrible. The space is small, the light is dim yellow, security is awful. It also looks cheaply made. I led them down the road. There's a bit of flood on the road. It was raining. There were cars passing by. I was impressed by one car that looks expensive but was able to go through the flood without sputtering. We reached the place, a house I was renting (all on my own or sharing?). I pointed out how the setting is perfect. Sunlight does not go inside too often, only on the east where it rises, and on the west, there's a building that will block it. The house looks decent. Mom wanted to hurry back home. I thought sis was supposed to back home with mom but apparently she's staying. She was in the living room working on her laptop. I was in my hometown. I was going to ride a plane. --- Notes: - I woke up pre-dawn and wrote keywords for the first paragraph. I slept and woke up around 10am and wrote keywords for the second paragraph. - Had a hard time sleeping. I went to bed around 2am. - I tried going to gamma through alpha but I keep getting distracted. - I will have to go back to basic meditation.
1/15/2016 I was in Katipunan-Aurora area at night. I was walking with some people. We were going to cross the bridge over Aurora but it was cut in the middle. It was as if the other half of the bridge was just gone. We had to go down, which was tricky. Daytime. I was trying to do some parkour flows in some ruins. I was with some friends. I watched S teach a new flow.
There was an invasion of aliens. Structures destroyed. I was looking at a post-apocalyptic world. The color theme is not dark; it's sunny, with lots of vegetation and ruined buildings. I traveled to an area with lots of ruins and some people and dinosaurs/animals. There were even apes. One in particular has developed human-like intelligence, and he keeps it to himself. I dropped a nail cutter, and he found it. He knows what it is. I was thinking I should get it before other apes see it and develop intelligence, but he gave it back to me. I then asked him if he doesn't want the others to become like him. It seems the ape likes his position over the other apes. I was in a small village where some humans gathered. There were two children who has not gone out of the village because they weren't permitted. Only adults can go out because of the danger outside. Still, I led them out and asked them about the plants around them. One said he called one shrub/tree an "apat" (four in our language), and he went on to point out other plants, but he hasn't seen most of them. The mother came rushing in to bring them back. Then there's a falling debris/alien object. I punched it away. The parent realizes that she can't keep her children safe forever. Not in this world at least. ---- Notes: - I saw a trailer for an alien invasion movie before sleeping.
Jan 6, 2016 There zombies. I was running at night on the right. It was dark and hard to see. I was going out of our hometown, heading south. I was in a dormitory, trying to find a place to sleep/hide. There was a vampire. I moved/led to my parents' room to hide. I was traveling in a bus from our hometown, heading south. I was with mom and sis. There was a lady behind us on the bus that was talking. We know her. I can't remember her name now but I did in the dream.
I was walking towards a place, via roads. Some were unfamiliar. I was going to Rob's place. I was walking all over the place at first, passing by what seemed like the roads surrounding QC Memorial Circle. Then I arrived at a place that looks familiar: the walls of my elementary school. I walked up the road. I went "inside" somehow. I was looking at a lake or seaside area. It was an illusion created by technology. There were a few people there. I was looking for a shade under the tree. I sat beside them without any of us minding it. Rob texted where I was. I told him near/in front of his house. I then wondered whether I should have texted first that I was heading here since they might be elsewhere.
Jan 3 (afternoon?) I was doing parkour. I was in some place with an unfinished building. There are a lot of sand. There was a fight. People were running away. I got frustrated and tried to attack the one shooter in camouflage clothing, which happened to be female. It was time to sleep. I have to wake up early tomorrow but I stayed up late. I was in our hometown. Dad was alive. I was happy he wasn't dead. We talked of going to Bambang via the PNR train. We're looking for a plumber.
Jan 3 Christian contemporary singing. Trio. Visiting colleges. It was summer. I was in BGC training in parkour. There are pink eggs. I was able to do a two-step wall run. It didn't feel revolutionary but I was happy that I was able to do it.
Jan 2, 2016 I traveled to BGC to a condo unit. I think Rob and/or Lico was there. Someone needed to take a cab. I wrote down a number for GrabCar or something. I was lining up in the MRT. There's a sale in a mall nearby. People are also lining up, but they're on tiles (like in Civilization). I moved a bag on one tile out so people can use it. Or I think someone else took out the bag. There was a game of some sort where everybody wins an apple. Literally one piece of apple. I thought that was ridiculous. I was on a rooftop of a building. Alex and Bishie were there I think. They're playing around. I can see the height from the edge of the roof of the building. Several stories high. A videogame. An old man and a monster. "Panga-yao." I was talking with a person about how Jews are gaining power and oppressing everyone else, including Muslims. There's a hint of anti-Semitism and conspiracy theory. I mentioned to the person how hypocritical that is, defending one religious group (Muslims) while demonizing another (Jews). The person tried to it dismiss it and change the topic. --- Notes: - Most of the dream was hazy but the last part where I was arguing with the person was very lucid. Too bad it ended quickly. - The person is familiar in real life but I forgot his/her name.
Jan 1, 2016 Vague. Hazy. I was in a bathroom. There's a lot of dirt. I think I was trying to take a dump.
I was riding a car. There was a driver. A friend, M, was beside me instead of his usual position beside the driver. We were leading the driver to go to a certain place inside a hotel. It gets tricky because some areas are very narrow. We were about to go through a narrow area, with M on the wheel this time, when the guards and hotel personnel caught our attention. They were making signs of not going through. Instead of panicking, which I sometimes do in dreams, I acknowledged them and asked for directions. There was a sudden change in the atmosphere, from frustration to assistance (or something). They helpfully led us to the correct path and even "carried" the car, which has changed to a small object, something sphere-like, being carried by four men. I tried to help but they signaled they can handle it. -- Notes: - Slept around 3-4 am - Woke up around 9 am - Read the last part of The Golden Compass before sleeping, which has a scene with a narrow path - I did not take
I was in a room. I was going to meet some PK friends outside. I went to the bathroom. I needed to take a dump. The stall is small and there were already some trash in the toilet but I had no choice. I worried that I might not have some toilet paper too. Somehow, I got some. When I was done, I left but not sure how to flush it along with the trash. I went out the stall to fix some stuff in my backpack when a maintenance guy, or more like a part-time student-worker, passed by and complained who left the toilet unflushed. I owned up to it although at first I had second thoughts. The guy wasn't mad, and I felt he was actually grateful that I owned up rather than deny it. --- Notes: - I kept thinking about owning up a problem at work. I was the bottleneck. This thought came up for days, a week even. - I had a nice feeling when I woke up.
I was waiting for a train. I had to cross the tracks to get to the right side and buy tickets. The tracks are just on the ground. There's no fence whatsoever. I rode the train. We passed by a "Katipunan" area. It's a gated community. We're supposed to go through it but the wooden gates (made of tree trunks) did not open. We had to go around. It's a challenge because we had to put the tracks while we're moving forward. We also had to put them on large(?) wine glasses. Someone (the driver) pointed out that I was brave to be the first/volunteer. I was like, "Eh?" Then I went to the front anyway. === Notes: - I let my mind wander while I try to be "centered" when I went to sleep. - It took a while before I fell asleep.
I was in a house/apartment. I was looking for something. I was supposed to just stay there temporarily. I think it was after the death of the owner, an old man. I'm not sure how I'm related to him. It was night, and I was looking for the bathroom. For some reason, I can't find it. Then there were ghostly apparitions and then a vampire-like monster. I was able to turn it "off," as if a game, although I wasn't scared. More like annoyed and frustrated for not getting to a bathroom. I was able to visit a friend (who?) and I used their bathroom. The water was warm. Then I'm not sure whether I was peeing in the right area. It might be their sink, but it was made of solid cement. I was looking at a small representation of some hills and a lake. It acted like a game map. I saw lines and arrows of where I'm supposed to go but it keeps changing and mixing because I'm "clicking" all over the place. I went outside our building. I climbed up to the train station, but not through the stairs. I climbed up, easily, through the walls and to the elevated tracks. A train just passed by but it was going the opposite direction (south) of where I was going (north). I was thinking whether I should walk to the station (a bit north). I decided to run on the tracks instead. I parkoured my way over obstacles. It felt liberating, especially when I saw how high I was able to jump up and landed precisely on a small ledge. There was a nice background music playing while I was doing this, which made it even more awesome. Not quite opera voice, and there were background instruments. I arrived near my destination (SM Megamall though it doesn't like anything like it). I got a little lost first but quickly found my way. I was in an area where there are some construction going on. I arrived at the area where they have sci-fi human-art installation. Basically, there were monks/priests and nuns and KOAs, and they were "attached" to sci-fi art (spaceships?) that are, in turn, attached to the ceiling/trees. One monk was even moving a bit, and the person holding him doesn't seem to be making an effort. NOTES: - I was tired and sleepy. I was also hungry, but my sleepiness and tiredness overpowered me before I slept. - I slept around 3pm. I had instant coffee around 10am though. - Last night, I slept a good 7 hours. - I took Bioflu (paracetamol + phenelephrine) around noon coz I felt like I was going to get sick. Might have caused the sleepiness.
I was in a park with dinosaurs. Or mutants. We were able to escape to the neighboring park, which for some reason is free from all that. It was sunny. We talked with the owner how horrible it was in the other park. She's an old lady. She talked about how a company was trying to buy off her land/park. I was on a grassy field. A football/soccer field. There are some people I know there: Am and Jo(Sun). We laid down on the grass. I laid down between them, and I noticed how Jo moved a bit away. I thought that was strange, and maybe it's really just how guys don't like to be too close to one another, but then I noticed that Am didn't seem to mind that my leg was over his other leg. I ignored Jo. He might have sensed something, and shortly after moved his leg closer. I was in the house in our hometown. A door was being fixed. I told mom that thieves could get in. She said not to worry coz our neighbor will be bringing in the fix. It was night. I was watching a shredder of sorts. I saw someone put kittens into it. I didn't see the cats being shredded but they went down.
A mix of zombie and scientific experiment. I was in a hotel? Condominium? I was escaping. I was with a guy I tried to court before. For some reason, I treated him to an ice cream (?) but then had to leave. It was inside a mall. I was looking for the way out, or to go to the other side of the mall without going out, but I didn't know how so I went outside. I was escaping from something or someone. I was an experiment. For some reason, I returned. I got another friend/experiment who looks like a monster. The other one with me died but I only recall him from memory, not experience. Parkour. I was in/near a hotel.
