WBTB paired with either MILD or WILD. The WBTB is the most important part.

DILD and sometimes an occasional WBTB, for now at least. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things with WILD.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

No DEILD? Isn't that supposed to be one of the most guaranteed ways of getting a lucid dreaming if you can successfully wake up without moving? I haven't had one yet, but my recall isn't that good either.

It's kind of a hit-or-miss thing. If you don't do it right, you miss the rare opportunity...
When that happens to me, I'm groaning the next day.

Wow, I would think more people did WBTB, instead of hoping you would get a RANDOM DILD.

With a WBTB, it is not random.

Without WBTB, why would I need WBTB for DILD? It consist of becoming aware within the dream mostly, initial stages require of WBTB most of the times, though.

I get DILDs in a pretty consistent pattern, actually. But there's the occasional dry spell...

I don't like to DEILD. The dreams are often short and unstable. Plus, it prevents me from recording the last dream I exited. I don't like to roll the dice and risk losing the memories of an awesome dream.

I am still getting better with lucid dream induction and Obe. However, I typically use the WBTB with an alarm. Then I use DEILD'ing for dream chaining. I can usually get an additional 2-4 LDs using DEILD dream chaining. I have only had a few DILDS but I expect that the more time I spend LDing and MILDING the more common they will become on their own..

      I beg to differ.
      I DILD and DEILD.

I disagree with this as well. DEILD dreams can be short, if you are at the end of your cycle (sometimes you just have to face its time to wake up). But I often wake up once or twice early in the morning, and DEILD is fantastic. I've trained myself to not move or open my eyes when I wake up (its hardly difficult, you just don't move while in bed unless you have to ). Sometimes I do forget the dream prior to DEILDing, but that doesn't happen much anymore. Like with anything it takes practice.
