      What is your Dream Music

I've always had different bands and songs that remind me of dreams or dreaming or ethereal things. Music I would fall asleep to if I felt like dreaming, regardless of whether or not it would work. Just cool music.
      Branded's 1986 album "Branded"
Most of Whiteheart's 1993 album "Highlands"
Bride's first release "Show no Mercy"
Oh, yeah, and Barnabas' song "Breathless Wonderment". THAT one actually did work for a while.

Anyways, I was wondering just what you guys out there listen to that's dream-ish or that you like to fall asleep to. Whatcha got?

100% this. The lyrics seem like they are about lucid dreaming and they always make me think of how amazing lucid dreaming is. I always try to fall asleep to this and usually have LD those nights.

When I fall asleep to this ( I also listen to the other 5 mixes ) I have the most awesome dreams because this music is just ... epic (especially the second song). It's so Inspiring and fascinating even though it uses no lyrics. It's music that gives me goosebumps while listening to it.

In my opinion, chill out music is amazing to fall asleep to. It's intent is to be relaxing and it often combines jazz and classical music. Lots of atmospheric sounds are in many chill out songs.

As for dream music, I find anything too energetic or too fast gets me too pumped. So it's usually the slow genres of music that help me fall asleep. Sometimes they even seep into my dreams.

Any sort of orchestral music. Orchestral = epic.

Oh, and Loreena Mckennitt's music too. More relaxing, and just plain fucking amazing

Anything BanYa is great. They do classical crossovers, most without words, so it leaves a lot to the imagination.

Remember the Future by Nektar always puts me in the dreaming mood.

Part 2 is similar, but mellower:

Listening to both all the way through usually puts me to sleep with a nice dreamy feeling.

      Also Magnum Opus by Kansas:

Instrumental music with a beginning, middle, and end, preferably the epic stuff. I love daydreaming to it before going to bed.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
