Thread: Any Air/Water/Earth/Firebenders Out There?

That's awesome! That only means you're getting more into that mindset

I like bending all elements, but never did it in my lucids. I think air is my favorite but within the basic elements only. Because I want to control darkness, light, gravity... not sure if considered elements but it would be cool if you can control the very concept of darkness and voidness,wouldn't it?

Any time you fly you control gravity, but here is a way to control it in the way I think that you are talking about.

I haven't attempted to control Fire/Water/Air/Earth.


I have on the other hand controlled dark matter a few times before though. I've created tiny black holes that suck things nearby into nothingness. I can also shoot what I would call bolts of dark matter that make everything in their path disappear. I can create a shield around myself that (like the black hole) absorbs anything that approaches me. I can also become one with the darkness and disappear as well into invisibility. I haven't tried to fly with these abilities yet, but they have been very useful when I have encountered anything scary while Lucid.

I imagine its a lot like what you're talking about though!

I tried making a tornado with my hands.. didn't work. Although I managed to set them on fire and kinda shoot fireballs.

Last night I was up on a roof and channeling waves of air. Each one would bounce around and then hit the others, and I was doing this airbending to move a soccer ball away from me. It was really neat, but the soccer ball rolled toward me unfortunately! I need more practice, haha.

A few nights ago I did a firebending move with my arms then stamped the ground hard and a fire dragon flew out and around. That was really cool. It was just about to swallow me when it disintegrated into nothingness again.

I also created one of those spinning balls that Aang rides around on and each time it would come towards me I would add more wind to it and it would grow in size. It was kind of like when you are spinning a quarter and hit it again to make it spin faster.

There was a stream nearby and I pushed and pulled the water with some moves in order to make ripples, but they were tiny. It was still neat to have power over the elements, but earthbending didn't even cross my mind. It's probably really cool in a stable lucid dream.

Cool! I've been wanting to do that for soooo long but I never get airbending to go right If I have a stable lucid, I'm gonna give it a try again and ride the air scooter (i think that's what Aang called it?)

I have done some of these things but never in a lucid...

Most of the time my jerky movements create a near instant shock wave like an insanely fast force push. Much like earth bendings instant reactions to rock, only with the motions of a fire bending blast-punch (like the one used on the Fire prince guy) and the effect of air bending...but violent

None the less you have another trying to join the bodacious bending bonanza.

I would recommend playing with fire a bit (don't tell anyone ) and maybe watching something with a lot of fire in it so you can visualize it well in your dreams.

Also I use this^^ I at first only used it for fire, but I also used it to change a DC into someone else. The energy moving gives you a lot more confidence on what will happen next.

I suggest that if anyone can summon or bend at least 1 element, that the next challenge should be to change the state of your element. I remember how awesome it felt one time, I reached out and touched the surface of a lake and caused it to freeze over. That was very awesone visuals and a very powerful feeling. You can turn water into steam or even change one element into another. I have not done this, but you could bend water into a stream or wave and then transform it into fire.

Let me clarify:
The motion was a fast, sudden, jerky movement. Similar to the Blast-punch or earth bending
The effect was a compression wave, like the one "Concussion" uses in the (bad) movie "Zoom: Academy for Superheroes" but far more concentrated.

Like I said I was not lucid. I also didn't have control...I simply watched what happened. As such my conscious self cannot be held responsible for it.


I do play with fire, not as much as I like but hey, burners can't be choosers. I haven't burnt any thing large and actually paid attention to it. I.E. massive bonfire at country town gathering or watching a bush fire IRL, to see how large fires act on a large scale. Nor have I made a (working) flame thrower to mimic the effect of werfing flammen from ones hand. Nor have I set a cloth ball alight then thrown it at something, to mimic fire balls. So really I have Sweet F A knowledge on how fire reacts in these situations.

I have been doing it for a long long time and most of the time break the lighter and make it use much more fluid at a time, making a longer lasting fire and a bigger fire. Now when I am sitting still or meditating I look at my hand and pretend that that fire is there. I then imagine it spreading around at my will. So I don't move at all when using fire. I use it as a Gaara like attack/defense. I would recommend this type of control.

That's awesome, sivason. I haven't frozen anything large yet, though I have tried freezing water and turning them into deadly icicles and throwing them at random things. The only other element-shifting I've done is earthbend a rock forward and then turning it into fire somewhere along the way. And I agree, it feels amazing!

I've been practicing mostly firebending and airbending.

I think i've already had crate fire balls to fight against an ennemy but it wasn't a lucid dream but an ordinary dream... actually, i often have a lot of powers in my dreams like telekinesis, teleportation, congeal people like Paper in Charmed, etc.. so much fun when i'm fighting in this oniric world. x)

I've been water-bending since my third lucid dream. It's probably one of the things I do most often it my dream. It is just a cool thing to do. XD You can read my dream journal if you want to read some of my water-bending experiences. I wish people could bend elements in real life! >.<

I found out about the holographic universe idea from my Unreality thread. It made sense to me and now I am trying to control fire as a starting point. So far I have only warmed my hands. But the main kicker comes from me not using any chi, ki, or any other energies.

I simply willed it.

I believe in this 100% when it comes to lucid dreaming. If you want something to happen, want to achieve a goal, etc DO NOT doubt it! Just believe it will work and it will. This is especially important when it comes to dream control. This is why people who are generally optimists are better lucid dreamers.

I think I did earth bending once- made the earth come up and swallow some guy I hated.

I have done some fire bending recently. I haven't needed an accelerant or a previously created fire for this to work. I can shoot flame thrower type blasts from my pointer fingers. I have also been very successful in shooting electricity out of all of my fingers. I don't know if it counts as bein one of your benders for that because I have never seen the show but it is still pretty cool. I haven't tried bending any of the other elements yet but I will give it a try.

That sounds awesome, Doc. I've only bent lightning once or twice, though it was really nice. You can watch some youtube vids of air/water/earth/firebending, they're really cool and might give you some visual inspiration

The only element I've tried to control is fire, it's really awesome to just throw fireballs out of my hands, although next lucid dream I might try to bend water but it seems like a really hard element to control (because it's a liquid). Although I've never tried it so I really can't say.
