Thread: Is it possible to Lucid into a fully cartoon world?

anything you can imagine is possible...

Lots of people have talked about successfully doing this before. Like lawilahd says, ANYTHING is possible.

It happened to me back then, though I wasn't lucid. And in what I remember, the texture of my dream was kinda like that of Zelda Wind Waker:

Yep, it's possible, I've done it. Anything is possible in a lucid dream.

Are the senses almost comparable to the real world senses as well?

Like everyone has said, Everything is possible in a lucid dream. You just have to think it and it will happen. Btw Weakamon, Wind Waker was EPIC.

I would imagine a fully 2D world would be interesting. Everyone being all flat and stuff.

Definitely yes! In fact, last night I RCed because the bridge I was driving on was completely animated. It took me a while to figure it out, I kept going "something is not right here..." lol! Things looked realistic again once I was lucid, though. But I've had other lucids that I spent in an animated world in the past and they were a lot of fun.

Yeah, as everyone has pointed out it is possible, I do it mostly for manga/anime worlds though.

I have!! It was awesome!! I was riding along in the back seat of the car (my dad drove, my mum next to him) and I suddenly realised I was dreaming (being in or on a vehicle like buses, cars and bicycles is a dream signal for me) so I made the car fly and we twirled off into this cartoony world, and it bent where it shouldn't and stuff. Parts of it even folded onto themselves, as seen in the film "Inception".

But then of course, something occurred and I lost my lucidity. But so yeah, it's possible, and it rocks, too!

I had an anime dream last night! Unfortunately I don't really remember it, I didn't make any effort to right it down. :/ I was kind of distracted, I woke up to the sound of anime playing because I'd fallen asleep while watching some lol.

I have dreamed in Minecraft form. I think that is easy to happen because Minecraft seems really realistic to (not graphics) living in general. I actually hate when this happens, because I can play Minecraft whenever, dream oppertunities come only at night, and are not a definate occurrence.

Yep. It may take a bit of extra visualization if you want to get a certain "look" or style to the dream, but it's very much possible.

I could see it very easy to get into something cartoon styled like Team Fortress 2


I think it'd take a little more manipulation and effort to get everything into a '2d' scenario, but it's totally possible. Think of the way you can play video games in your dreams without a screen, or watching movies etc.

yeah i have some tiny little things looked real but most was like a cartoon except it felt like i was standing near a screen moving my invisible arms that shown up on screen i couldent really feel that much.
