Have you ever dreamt you were the opposite gender?

So, as the titile implies, have you ever drempt you wee the opposite gender?
If so, what was it like?

Just asking out of curiosity.

Several times, mostly in NLDs. It's not uncommon that I dream I'm a different person, sometimes of the same gender, sometimes of a different one. It's never felt particularly odd either way, but maybe that's because I'm a longtime RPG gamer and used to adopting different identities.

Yes, and it was very upsetting until I realized I am Trans. Now I have "nightmares" about wearing women's clothing and it causing me to feel anxious and embarrassed.
I'm guessing you have had these dreams or you wouldn't be asking...?
Don't worry, I'm not saying you are Trans. That was just my experience.

Yes, I occasionally have dreams where I am the opposite gender, or a different person of the same gender, or I am a disembodied perspective hovering around a person or group of people.

But, especially when I was a virgin teenager, I would dream something I was going to have awesome sex (lucid and not lucid) with a hot gal, and upon pulling her pants down... finding an unpleasant hanging surprise :S

Pretty frequently. In fact I'd say most people do, though not all the time. More often than not I have a "fandom dream," in which I dream that I am one of the male characters. Just last night, for example, I dreamed that I was Remus Lupin from Harry Potter.

I do all the time. It's like reading (or like writing) fiction in which I'm in the POV of someone male. Though usually it's not stable--I eventually morph back into some version of dream-me.

Yes! This happens to me a lot, too. (I write fanfiction.)

Twice, as far as I remember - the first time somebody was singing at me with a beautiful tenor opera voice, and I just took over his body and the song, this went completely fluently, and I only understood, that this had happened, when I woke up. That was a normal dream, but since I've been "creating" the music anyway, I guess, it was sort of consequential what happened, I wanted to also feel like the source of the sound, maybe.
And I remember one other time, also non-lucid, it just felt completely natural, but I felt like I would imagine a man to feel like, mentally, but unfortunately in both these dreams there were no sexual elements. Didn't even take a look...
I'd like to try it lucidly and "test the equipment" so to speak, must be very interesting, well, if I'll manage to stay asleep through it, that is.

Was this from your childhood onwards, that you dreamed to be male?
I could imagine that you loved to go to sleep in that case.
It must be hard to be trans, I don't envy you, I got an identity crisis in my early twens just from finding out, I'm bisexual, reckoning I might be lesbian and life to get suddenly much more complicated... No problems came with it of course, but anyway, it confused me big time, even while I had a very close homosexual friend and wasn't in the least bit homophobic at all.

Once or twice I've been opposite gender or had different sex parts. Like Verre said it's not particularly odd either way it just is what it is.

The other night I had a dream that I was a man having sex with a woman. I was just staring at my penis thinking "this is so weird". It was good sex though lol

A couple of times during my teen ages as far as I can remember. I tried to intentionally change it during a couple of lucids although with no success. Perhaps if I use some magic portal in stead of trying to shape shift it could work.

Yeah, here and there. One time I even changed into a female intentionally out of curiosity as to what my female self would look like. It is actually something I would like to experiment with a more often.

I've always been a little trans deep down inside. My guy friends are always cracking jokes that I act feminine, but I always thought it was funny and found myself laughing with them. I guess it's just an aspect of myself that I'm comfortable with.

Often when I play RPG video games, I play as a female.
