Just lay with it going off and put the idea in your head that you won't move and will stay calm. I think it's called a mantra. Anyway that's what I've done. And although I just recently started doing it again, when I used to do it a lot it would bring on lucid dreams almost every night. And some nights I'd have 5 lucids.
Thanks, you could have told us long time ago
Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

I don't come on dreamviews every day. I've been trying to more lately, but it's difficult with busy schedule. And aside from DILD's, this is my second most area of expertise.
