WBTB is my goto technique. When I really want to have a lucid dream I use my alarm clock to wake me after 4.5 hours of sleep, stay awake for a bit and then go back to bed using a visualization technique. But lets face it, we all go through a lazy stage and that is where the old trusted RC comes in. What I do is use something that gets my attention during the day for my RC. If it gets my attention during the day, it will do the same in my dream. For many this can be fancy cars, members of the opposite sex, hats, shoes, etc. whatever works for you. If you notice them in waking life, you will also notice them in dreams. This provides me with at least a few DILDs a month without having to do anything in mid-sleep.
