Thread: Your ideal dream location?

A mountainy forest.

Beatiful scenery, peaceful.

Something like, but not exactly

Forests are nice, But cause me to be paranoid in my dreams.

I'd really like to dream in a huge city like New York or L.A. Just think of the possibilities.

I really want to go to this place I've seen in my head for years.
It's a city, but with no cars, or noises or pollution, and mostly white.

The buildings are spread out so there are nice big open park spaces that are beautiful any time of day, but especially the later hours when the sun gleams off all the glass buildings.
There is silence, and surrounding the city is an infinite plane stretching beyond the horizon. Much like a 'salt flat'.

And from there I would travel to virtually any other type of location.

Mine would be a completely dark room with a light in a circle in the middle. No sounds, no movement only the calm of nothingness, and me sitting in the middle of the light relaxing/meditating

That's what I plan on doing when I go there

Yeah, But a beach would be nice for flying. Especially since falling wont scare you enough to wake up, Because you'll just land in the crystal clear water.
Much like Destiny Islands from the popular Kingdom Hearts franchise, but with the beautiful sunsets and nights, followed by a maginifcant sunrise. I mean, I'm only borrowing a little info from a game, The rest will by my own original creation.

A lake, surrounded by mountains and forest, and a small island in the middle with a large oak to sit under on soft green grass would also be nice

My ideal location would be in a crater with little bushes or trees growing from the sides, and having multiple rivers coming to the crater creating waterfalls all around it. The bottom will be filled with water except for a small round mound in the center for me to stand.
The spot would be perfect for all my goals that go beyond "just water bending". And it would be the most peaceful place I've ever seen. It would cover everything I want: learning to water bend, just having water (I love water), and I love the sounds of waterfalls/trickling water

This is a Norwegian commercial for mineral water (reklame=commercial) I really, really, really want to be there in a lucid dream, and just fly around. It looks soooo realxing and peacefull. Think about doing that in the night in the middle ogf the week with stress, school and work. Must be like therapy

I like the idea of playing a show for a packed stadium with a band.

Inside a fractal, travelling into it.
a lot of my dreams have a feeling similar to this except softer, slower, geography resembling the weave of fabric. Warm water, islands to be swum between. Waves, the calmer underside of surf.
Steep forested hills for flying.
The inside of trees.
The inside of illustrated pages, with dimensions to be gained, relief, carved inked pages, stepping inside them.

That picture aggravated me so much. A terrible dream situation.

Think about dreaming that. Always falling and look like you're getting closer but never do.

I guess there is something about that exact experience which appeals to me. Dreams have a time-expansion quality also, renewing imperceptibly.
