Thread: Post your lucid special abilities!

Hmm, I need to work on new lucid dream abilities. So far the only special abilities I do with any regularity is flying, levitating things, and invisibility. Does controlling other dream characters count as a special ability? It's like a mind control, so I guess so. I do that sometimes too.

morphing into animals: jaguar, gecko, gorilla, manta ray
flying
breathing underwater
summoning cardboard shields and swords

I have many many powers that I have listed that I would like to master eventualy. The ones I have mastered and specialize at are flying, telekinesis and electrokinesis. I have also been able to influence the minds of normal DCs by willing it. They then do or say what I will them too and act even dumber than normal. I have also used it to make DCs spontaniously fall unconcious. It can be quite comical but It works better on some DCs than others.

My main archetype that I am developing uses my energy that is a manifestation of my will and bieng and can be used and changed for many different things. I got the idea when thinking of how energy can be transformed into any other type of energy and if you could use that you would have an infinitly variable tool. Some notable uses is teleportation, summoning, combat, healing and transformation. It can be used for summonin to form into the shape and then revealed to show the object. That way you can directly summon something, while still looking at it with ease. I modified my electrokinesis technique to get my energy flowing and then formed it into a ball. The energy is blue and looks like electricity, fire and plasma at the same time. I was able to form it into a portal and go through it but I failed at linking it to were I wanted to go and it brought me to a random place. I still am practicing stabilizing the energy and using it. If I don't control it well it becoms unstable and turns black and purple. One time I was practicing and it became unstable and randomly summoned a chain whip into my hands.

I good one that I didn't read exactly is turning incorporeal, that's one I use constantly if anything is ever bothering me in a dream state. That's one ability I'd love to have in real life, *sigh*

Ive only had 3 lucid dreams - all I seem to be able to do is super-speed whilst running.

The other is still a constrained power - I always seem to have to summon an elevator to go anywhere, its this that Im trying to evolve to be a much more convenient "power".

Gotta' love having a project to do while im sleeping! haha

I can easily fly whenever I want, and can go through objects, but that can take some force sometimes. I haven't had enough lucids to find anymore.

Oh ya, I can phaze through stuff too, theres probly some other powers that I forgot I have.

I can use a sort of "Air Climbing" ability, since this involves grabbing air, I can also tear a hole in space with this.

In one of my dreams last night (a lucid), I flew extremely fast, as in like, a mile a second or something. It was pretty fun

I can do anything I want if it's possible with a sleight of hand. I can movie an entire train by "pulling it" with my hand, blow up something by closing my hand into a fist and "popping" my fingers open, and strangle someone who wants to hurt me by closing my hand on him. I picked up flying right away

I have total confidence in my abilities when I'm lucid, I just keep forgetting to try them... I never remember to do my dream goals like teleporting and stuff.

Flying is always the first thing I like to do.
Walking on water & breathing underwater.
Super speed - but strangely, it only works when I literally run on all fours, like a cheetah.
Time control - either completely freezing time, or making things move in slow motion.
Summoning people I know, so I can tell them about it in the morning.

Well, seeing as I've only really had one lucid dream, I know I can run up walls like Alex Mercer from "Prototype"

I also know I suck at flying/jumping, haha

Thank you for this. I just read this post, and it triggered my memory of being lucid last night. One of the only things I remember is sinking my arm into a wall, as if it were water, and looking at my hands to stabilize my dream. I also vaguely remember walking on water. I probably would have completely lost that, had I not read this.

As far as my special abilities:
Phasing through solid objects.
Walking on water
Telekinesis (probably my favorite lucid power)
Flight (which I kind of couple together with telekinesis)
Catching/Dodging bullets
Invulnerability
Energy blasts
Energy aura
Morphing/transformations
Pyrokinesis
Increased agility/acrobatics
Super speed
Super strength
Self-destruct / explosion
Summoning people (doesn't work very often)
Summoning weaponry
Bringing inanimate objects to life (only done twice, I believe: A dragon and a tree)

...that's all I can think of at the moment.

I never had problems by opening padlocks or locked doors without any key, it's something I can do without thinking about it . For the other things, they sometimes work and others they don't.

I had around 10 lucid dreams before where I know I was dreaming and able to control part of it, but my dream just a few days ago was something different, and I want to share it with u guys. it's all 100% true, and I only remember these important details. Im not a pervert or any kind, but this dream makes it so =.=...

I was in a big house, and I was searching for something on the bookselves when I got hold of a big skull. I was scared and threw it away, and continues searching when I touched another one, much freakier one. It was small and oval shape but look horrifyingly similar to the face of the Alien in the Alien series. So frightened, I ran all the way out of the house to a dark road. Amazingly, I KNEW I was dreaming myself but I was still scared and tried to run and make myself fall to hit the ground so I can wake up. I felt a few times but couldnt wake up. Then I dont know why I returned to the gate of the house, hit myself a few times at the iron gate. Feeling no pain, I was so sure that I was dreaming and felt scared no more. I suddenly thought of doing something fun, and there appear just outside the gates some naked girls. I went to the first one but she looked ugly ( I couldnt remember her face but after the dream my mind just tell me that she's not pretty tts y I didnt choose her). I walked to the next one, and she is a friend of mine in secondary school. Yup, wt happened next is that I f... her ( =.=" )... It felt just like real. AND THIS IS THE AMAZING PART. I ask myself, as I am doing this, if any of my family members were to stay near me and see any of my "strange behavior" while sleeping, I would be so embarrassed. That's y I OPENED my eyes, seeing noone around ( this is in real world I can confirmed, as I saw myself on my bed, looked at the clock and look at my "pants" =.= ). And, I closed my eyes, continue ... for a while until I hear my mom's voice calling me. then I just SLOWLY WOKE UP. this is also freaking amazing to me. how do you slowly wake up.... in my dream I knew mom was calling me so I stopped doing wt I was doing and then gradually woke up.....

I was truly amezed, that y I started searching for "lucid dreams" on google and found this forum and decided to share. And dont see the point of coming up with a fake " lucid dream". This is all real to me.

It took me a while before I convinced myself I could fly.
I started by conjuring a magic carpet and flying on that, since I guess it was less difficult for my mind to fathom.
When I was comfortable with the carpet, I started to fly on my own... but for a while, I still had to flap my arms like a bird to stay in the air.
Practice makes perfect, though! Flying is now my favourite thing to do, with no troubles at all.

This was from a normal dream.

So I went to a corner shop to buy some gummy worms but the guy at the shop ripped me off so when he went upstairs, I used the "Force" and choked him until his heart stopped.
I than thought, the feds might find out it was me so I restarted his heart and left.

Weird. I told it to some kids in my public speaking class and they think I'm fucked up in the head. Lol. Maybe I am!

I've discovered my mind likes to build "immunity" to reality checks and what will work in a dream one night, will completely fail the next night.

Not really a power, more something annoying and I'm assuming to be expected from time to time in lucid dream induction?

I'm still new to all this, haha

Wow you more really experienced guys have some impressive abilities! My best so far is flying around 60 feet or so up to the top of the building, and before I landed I did a front flip. I totally disoriented myself and lost lucidity because of it but it was awesome nonetheless.
