I wakeup in a hotel in California, where I just was a few weeks ago.
Out of habit I do a hands reality check. I only have four fingers per hand (no thumbs).
I follow-up with a nose reality check to verify. I can breathe. I become lucid.
I try to remember what I want to do, but the first thing to occur to me is to look for DV coins in my pocket like I planned.
I start rummaging in my pockets and feel a bunch of textures of what feel like large pieces of plastic, but no coin.
I realize the acronym EV I've been rehearsing, means Engage-Verbalize, so I start rubbing the walls and saying "this is a dream, I'm dreaming, this is a dream..."
But my lucidity fades fast.
...
I'm at the same hotel, but this time I'm with my girlfriend, her sister KH, and KH's husband SH.
We're playing a game, where I was supposed to have hidden a number of beers for them to find.
I'm trying to stealthily hide the beers as they look for them, and simply pretend that they are well hidden.
Later I notice that my friend PG is there as well.

Pop-Ups:
I'm at an art contest with my friend JM.
I notice that he has created an epic work of art over time and feel very jealous.
I decide to tough it out and try my best, so I pull out my phone to get a reference picture.
But when I try to open the browser, pop-ups keep appearing where I am trying to tap.
It is very frustrating, and I wake up feeling annoyed.

Fragment:
I'm in a park, playing a game.

I'm heating a mask, it is a sort of exploit for a game we are playing.

I'm at highschool graduation and somebody is getting a religion-related honor.

I was sitting at my bed looking out the window when I noticed how relaxed I was feeling. it was around 8am and I decided to try and lay down for a lucid dream.
For about an hour I was experiencing hallucinations, like half dream half reality. It felt like I could control the hallucinations and do things when I knew I was still awake and could move around. I saw books, a game controller and through focus I could actually move the images around, similar to projecting I guess.
When finally I felt myself falling. I was sleeping.
Similar to how my other WILDs start it was pretty dark and minimal 3d looking structures I was falling through.
I decided to exert control and stopped myself from falling. And interestingly enough as I felt the resistance of my opposition to myself falling, the dream world created itself. Looked cartoony and video game like, I saw a Library with many identical simple book shelves below, at this point I'm pretty high up and fly down to the ground..
It felt pretty unstable so as I began walking I started naming everything out loud what I could see to stabilize everything.
"Book Shelf", "Door", "Desk", "Patrick?"
I saw Patrick star from SpongeBob outside holding a sign that said something. I exited the building and began walking towards him. but the more I walked the further away he became.
"Walking wont work so I'll just zoom in."
My vision quickly zoomed forwards and now I was standing right in front of him. He looked like a video game asset, not really alive and just smiling with a basic idle animation. I lost interest in him and forgot to read what he was holding.
Now remembering what I wanted to do the next time I became lucid I tried to look at my hands to start a summoning ability that I had planned in advance.
"aaand I don't have hands....or a body..."
Just remembering the motion of what I did in waking and managed to pull the ability off. It wasnt how I imagined it but it worked.
I summoned a green portal from rick and morty with a throwing motion, but where I summoned it was on a wall that was pretty rocky and curved. So it seems the dream decided to destroy the face of the rock in an explosion, flattening it and allowing the green portal to spawn against a flat surface.
"Rick come out!"
Rick came out of the portal like I wanted but like Patrick he had no life, just appeared to be a video game asset with basic animation. oh well.
"Rick take me to the Alien planet!" I said as I marched into the portal, I had attempted to bring him with me but I had no limbs to guide him with me.
Once I went though the portal everything turned brown/green and I couldn't make anything out for a bit.
I began shouting "Where are the aliens!?"
When I opened my eyes and saw myself in bed, couldn't move. I was experiencing sleep paralysis and was now feeling a bit disappointed it seemed to be coming to an end. I closed my eyes attempting to revisualize the world but the next time I opened my eyes I was awake again.

WBTB, started experiencing hypnogogic hallucinations when suddenly I was floating down through some weird space, it was really dark but I could make out 3d structures. There appeared to be floors and walls but it didn't look right, more like a wire frame then an actual object. I was just uncontrollably floating down through and passing through them. Until finally I woke back up.

First(this one was about a week ago), after I became lucid, I decided to fly around, and I saw two mountains, I carefully chose this taller on that had a weird pattern, and then fly around it and managed to make a cave appear on it and I flew into the cave and saw a different world.

Second(last night), shortly after becoming lucid I was swallowed by a giant whale like sea monster, but I willingly went in and then sort of phased into it, dispersed my body into dust so I didn't have a physical body, and then became the giant whale thing, and had fun swimming and eating fish.

Got my first LD of the comp ! I was too tired to do everything I wanted in it, but that's still progress. First succesfull WILD of the comp, after my 2nd WBTB of the night.

Super Mario News



A news anchor who looks like the singer Mika is waiting for Trump to confirm a move before he can start the news. A 10-second countdown begins. *Glitching animated image of him* To present the news, he plays Super Mario Bros. There's Bowser as a casual enemy. But the game wasn't coded properly : less gravity so everything is slower, no sounds when Mario takes a mushroom or a star... The presenter still enthusiastically comments the letsplay, swears, answers the chat...

Monsters (feat. Monster)

At my brother's house, in the bathroom, I imagine a streamer playing Tekken 7. Then at my parents house, at night, two nephews are sleeping, I go to the bathroom, but bad thoughts enter my mind : I imagine monsters appearing (a giant purple caterpillar and some others), while "Monster" by Meg & Dia is playing in my head. I brush my teeth and go back to my room, luckily no monsters appeared

Too sleepy to sing along (FA, LD)

At my brother's house, in my bed, some family arrives, my brother-in-law gives me a lamp and some phone chargers, I ask them if it's a dream or not (just to be sure), no answer. Then a nephew comes over to me, I dap him up, and he begins singing. I morph him into another nephew two times. Then I'm alone, still in bed, my hand is very blurry, as if erased. I hear snoring next to me, I'm too tired to continue the dream. I fall back asleep and open my eyes again, wanting to continue the lucid dream, but I woke up...

Hypnagogic Imagery: I had just played Orion Drift VR shortly before getting ready for bed, and my brain played a loop of me riding on the zip line/hyperloop thing. Arm raised in the air and space zooming past me I could also feel the controllers in my hands.

I am hoping to play a lot more of that game in the future so it will be interesting to see if it takes more of a presence in my dreams. I'm too tired to do it right now, though.

Non-lucid: Pokemon got a dark theme. (I don't remember exactly what this meant from my journal.) I was at the local pool but riding the steep water slide that is unnamed but I like to call The Purifier (because it will make you repent of all your sins). It wasn't steep though, unlike its real-life counterpart, and it was filled with kids. It was a super tame slide. I either rode the slide or got out of line, and saw my dad and my sister. My dad started asking me questions about myself but referred to me in the third person, like I was not actually myself, which was weird.
