    1. Call for Dream Guide

      April 10, 2012:

I re-enter the dream. Back in my childhood bedroom. I start pushing over rodent cages onto the floor. There are mice and hamsters and maybe guinea pigs.
Then I push through the window, face first, right through the glass and wood frame. Outside, I ask for my dream guide to appear. I see a robot made of a bucket with a face drawn on it. I do not think this is my dream guide.
I get down on my knees and call out for my guide, practically begging.

A humanoid creature appears, hopping down beside me, possibly from a tree. It has a skinny body and long thing limbs and an oval head with no face. It is holding a branch with many smaller branches. There is a small flame on the tip of each twig.
It says something to me that I don't remember. It doesn't seem important. I feel like I am making it say what I want it to say, so I don't feel that it has a consciousness of it's own. Surely not a dream guide. Unless it's appearance is somehow symbolic.

    2. Carpeted walls, zombie, and finding someone to help.

      April 6, 2012:

Slept for 4 hours, then took 8mg of GalantaMind

As I am going back to sleep, I feel my body get lighter. I crawl out of bed, out of my physical body. I can't see very well.
Suddenly I'm back in bed again. I feel like I roll over onto my back. I reach up and I can feel the ceiling with my hands, and I knock on it.

Now I can see and I am floating in my room. I see out the window that the sky is purple and then changes to dark blue.
Now I am in a room with carpet on the floor and walls, maybe the ceiling too. I am lucid.
The bottom part of the walls look rotted away. I go to what looks like stairs going down, but it's just a shallow hole in the floor.

Then I go into a bathroom. The toilet also has a carpet-like cover on the lid. I see my reflection in a mirror. It loos scary, like a zombie.
Now I am in a parking lot with no cars, surrounded by a chain fence and tall trees. A zombie falls from a tree into the fenced-in parking lot. I try to ignore it, knowing it can't bother me if I don't let it.
But then I go pick it up. it is just a plastic skeleton with a ridiculous looking smushed-in face.
I say "This isn't my best dream." I lie down on my back with the skeleton beside me. "But listen to that," I say. I can hear crickets and maybe frogs or birds. It is rather nice.

Then I wake slightly, back in my bed.
I don't move and I enter another dream.

This one involves flying while carrying three ladies. I discover that one of the women has both male and female genitals. We play around for a bit until I wake up again.

I am outside, in the front yard of my childhood home.
I say aloud "I'm on an adventure to help someone! I'm like Fin from Adventure Time."
It is dark out. I say "Too bad it's night time." Then I see the sun very low on the horizon and decide that it is the morning sunrise. Soon it is light out.

There are lots of animals around. especially a lot of cats near the house. I ask them if they need help. I move some object so they can get to some food. Then there are lots more cats around. I say to myself "I wonder if there really are so many cats outside our house. Surely there's no so much junk in our yard."
There are big piles of garbage around me.

I keep walking and find a shop full of glass objects on glass shelves. There are little bowls with figures on them and hanging glass shaped like people, like art mannequins. I break something by throwing it, but mostly just look at things.

I think of trying to smoke something and getting high. Probably because the glass bowls remind me of pipes. But instead I find a Chinese restaurant. I say "I can help finish soup."
I go to the owner, a little bald Chinese man, and ask him if I can help by cleaning the floors or washing dishes, or whatever.
He eventually agrees to let me clean the floor. This is not very exciting, but at least it is helping someone. We go to a room in the back. Employees are checking out.
We are about to get the mop when I wake up.

It is slightly disappointing that I didn't follow through, even though it would have been boring mopping a floor in a lucid dream.

      March 29, 2012:

I am in my childhood home, fully lucid. I float through the glass of a window.
Outside, it is a bright and clear day. Very vivid. I am floating in the air, over the back yard in the wooded area.
I say aloud "I know I'm being watched. I feel nervous about it. But I want help and guidance to become a better dreamer." (This was part of my goal.)

I am now near the swimming pool. It is full of large branches and logs, like a whole tree was cut up and thrown in the pool. There is a young boy in the water among the branches, playing. I yell at him "Shut up!" then I catch myself and say "No wait, I should help him." (also a goal).

I go closer to the kid and ask to help him. The boy is standing on a chair in the water. He tells me I can't have it. He doesn't seem to want or need help.

    4. Flying Method

      March 14, 2012:

6th time using GalantaMind. Slept for about four hours, took 8mg, then back to bed. Began having vivid dreams about an hour later.

I am in the yard of a house in my childhood neighborhood. I am aware that I am dreaming and begin to fly. I have some difficulty at first, flapping my arms hard to keep off the ground. My arms get tired.
Then I realize I can imagine that my arms are wide and flat like wings so I don't have to flap them so hard. This works pretty well and I gain some height.
Then I discover that I can move my legs up or down to quickly tilt my direction up or downward, like with a rudder or a bird's tail, I think.
I tilt my legs down and it makes me swoop downward, picking up speed until I lift my legs and suddenly swoop back up into the air.

I show someone, maybe my old friend. I think about making notes on the flying method/mechanism. Another friend shows up and I show him that I'm flying. He gives me a push. I am slowing down and having trouble again. I fly backwards for a moment.

      Then I lose lucidity

I have another fairly long lucid dream, then an equally long non-lucid

    5. GalantaMind supplement experience - Presence Watching Me.

      Nonlucid, Lucid, Partially lucid
      March 6, 2012:

This is my fourth time using GalantaMind. It is the second success with it, because I actually fell asleep this time.
-Got about 3 hours of sleep before taking 1 capsule (4mg) and went back to sleep. Took another 4mg about two hours later and eventually went back to sleep.
-Focused on my breathing and on the area behind my eyelids, trying not to allow thoughts, but imagining things that involve movement sensations.

Lying on my back, I begin to feel myself falling asleep. I hear birds chirping that I think are outside and then feel myself move and roll over to my side.
Then I wake up a bit and realize I hadn't physically moved at all, and I couldn't have heard real birds because I am wearing earplugs.
Then I am slightly out of phase with my physical body. I slip into a dream once or twice. Finally, as I am lying on my back, looking at my hands in front of me, I remind myself that I am dreaming and not physically moving.

I rub my hands together, noticing the sensation and look around at where I am. I realize that I am not in the same place I fell asleep. I am lying on the couch in the living room of my childhood home. A light is on in the foyer, but when I get up and walk over there, the light is off.

I rub my hands together again to stabilize. I look at my reflection in the front door window. I say "I'm not sure how I know I'm dreaming." Then I step right through the glass. I say aloud that I want to find some people. There is no one around, which is an annoyingly common in my lucid dreams. I say aloud that I want to find/join the Lucid Dream School/Academy.
I walk around outside and find a big tree. I begin to climb the tree, thinking it will take me to the academy castle. I see a big, old looking castle in the distance.

I feel like there is someone behind me, following me. When I turn around I just see a cat and feel like the presence has moved to the other side of me. I feel nervous. I say to the presence that I just want help and guidance and I don't want to bother anyone.

      Then I am awake again.

    6. Wasp and Academy

      by , 04-09-2012 at 09:38 PM

      January 16, 2012:

I am in bed, in my present bedroom. The window is partially open. There is a bunch of moss and stuff coming in through the window. I get a trash bag and clean some of it up. Then I water the plants in the window (in waking life, my plants are not in that window.)

I see a wasp on one of the plants. It gets on my back. I am shirtless and I feel it crawling on my back. I lay on the floor on my back and try to smush the wasp.
Then I have a false awakening. I am in bed again, looking to see if a bug is in the bed. There isn't.

I get up and start picking up some things left on the floor before the wasp got on me. Then I think "Why is this still here if it was a dream?

So I pinch my nose to see if I am dreaming. And I can still breath, so I become lucid. At first I am excited and about to do some random thing, but I calm myself and remember my task.
I look at the door and say that it leads to the Dream Academy. I look around the room (it looks different now) and say "I'm in a dorm room in the Academy."
Attached to my room is another room, filled with fish tanks of shrimp-like creatures. I say that they are for an assignment. Then I feel myself waking up.

    7. Not quite Creating a Mini-Universe

      by , 01-14-2012 at 10:04 PM
      Nonlucid, Lucid, Partially lucid
      December 31, 2011:
I am riding in a car on a long trip. I am tired and worried about the driver (female?) being tired. We stop on the side of the road. It is raining. I left some suitcases under a bridge. Lots of other people are around too.
A guy (thin white male, wearing a beanie/tuke?) with a knife is now robbing us and is going to take my suitcase.
I ask him if I can get some stuff out first, some things he wouldn't want anyway. He attacks me with the knife, we fall to the ground. As I defend myself I wonder if this is a dream. I kiss the guy on the mouth (to check if I dreaming?) and then pinch my nose to reality check.

I now know I'm dreaming and I push the guy off or something.
Now I am in my parents' house. I remember my task and say aloud that I want to create a mini-universe (from my difficult goal list). I get a head of lettuce from the fridge and smash it on the ceiling, shredding it to little pieces, which fall on the floor. Then I sprinkle some white liquid or powder on the floor with the lettuce, to be stars.
Then I jump and dive into the stuff on the floor. My secondary task was to enter the mini-universe. But I'm not really in it at all. It's like I am just looking at it really close and pretending to be part of it.

I become less lucid. I find that someone had left a little fire in a bowl in the living room and the front door is unlocked. I hear someone in the garage and I run to my parents' bedroom, where I was sleeping in a chair.
I think "I didn't have to run back here, because I was asleep here all along."

      Notes on lucid dream goal:
The mini-universe did not come out like I had hoped. It wasn't actually anything but stuff spilled on the floor. I just pretended it was, just like I would in waking life. This happens a lot in my lucid dreams. The things I try to do don't feel real, but like I'm just pretending that it is.
I need to use magic in the dream, or advanced science to create a mini-universe that actually looks like a living galaxy, or something similar.
The secondary goal of entering the created universe is not as important right now. I am glad that I remembered it and attempted it in the dream, although I am not satisfied with the results.

    8. Lucid, Create Location, lava

      by , 01-14-2012 at 09:24 PM
      Nonlucid, Lucid, Partially lucid

      Dec. 28, 2011:
I am in the back yard of my old home, climbing a thin tree. The tree bends until it is on the ground and I am still "climbing it by walking on it on all four.
There is a small monkey. I start to pick on it. It bites me and a bunch of other monkeys show up to attack me.

I become lucid. Now I am inside. There is a grey cat-like monkey. I don't want it to be angry anymore. I ask the cat/monkey if it wants to be my companion. It sort of follows me but I don't see it again.
I remember my task and I say aloud that I want to create a location. Through the window I see the landscape change to a snowy place. Then it turns into a desert. But I don't feel like I chose those places.

So I say I want to create/go to a lava place
[not sure what I called it]. I then go outside and it is like a giant cave full of lava and rocks. The place is dark, lit only by the glowing hot lava.
I jump and climb down a rock path as I sing the Mario music, first the above ground theme, then the dungeon theme. The rocks that I am jumping on are not secure. They move and break and the lava flows over them.
Jacqui, Monique, and Eddie (about 9 years old) are there. I am stuck on a rock surrounded by lava. I jump and start to fly by flapping my arms and making Mario flying sounds. This kind of feels like cheating.
Eddie is holding onto my leg. I tell him to fly on his own. I float backwards, on my back. I say something like "I'm glad I was able to make this location."
Then I talk to Jacqui and say things I wouldn't want to in waking life, fantasy things. I then say "I know it's stupid and not true." Then we have an extreme kiss, her whole face is in my mouth.

Jacqui disappears and it's just me and Monique, still floating in the air. I say that we will be in a forest when we land. We float down to the ground, into a clearing surrounded by trees. I say "It's kind of like a forest."
We walk, I'm following Monique. I almost say something to her but then change my mind. We come to a pond with little ducks swimming in it.

I lose lucidity. Some kids are swimming in the pond. David and Anna are there. David is going to show Anna his tattoo.

December 19, 2011: I become lucid and remember my goal to create and control fire. At least twice i create fire and it spreads through the house. I hold my hands out and create fire in the palm of my hands.
But the fire doesn't look very real, and it is not even warm. I go to a computer and press a key on the keyboard, trying to create fire like in Minecraft
[although fire isn't actually created that way in the game]
Then I am outside and n a van. Still lucid, I drive the van backwards while upside-down. I drive the van backwards into a lake (I expect to wake up?). Then I continue to drive the van on the water, like a boat.

      Oct. 13, 2011
I am on a sidewalk by the street with two other people, a man and a woman. Two ghosts appear. They are the ghosts of the family of the two people. One ghost is the dad of one of the people.
I say "Why can't we see more ghosts?" as I look around.

The girl tells me that I could see the ghost of someone I knew, if I really want to. So I think about seeing my grandfather (my mom's dad) while rubbing the sides of my head.
An orangutan appears. I say "Grandpa was not an orangutan."
He waves at me and I wave back, and he vanishes.

      October 11, 2011

I put a large lawnmower on top of some people in a convertible. The lawnmower is not turned on. They push it over and off of them.
I begin to fly away. The people have turned into a young (pre-teen) boy, who says he is going to throw gravel at me. I tell him that the gravel is made of foam.
The kids yells "You shit doodles!" So I take him literally and I poop out drawings.

Then I have a wedgie. Now I am in some kind of business building. I say aloud that I need to go to the bathroom "to take care of this."
I go into a restroom. Two of the walls are windows through which I can see the receptionist desk.

As I return to sleep I immediately enter a conscious dream.
I am in a house and I walk through a wall or maybe a window, like a ghost. Then I go through a screen door. I can feel the metal screen on my skin as a move my body through it.

      I land in grass, barefoot.

Then the dream fades and I wake up. Pretty short. But it was an interesting sensation.

    13. Eating mushrooms, several short lucid dreams

      by , 10-07-2011 at 10:54 PM
      Nonlucid, Lucid, Partially lucid

This is roughly lucid night #114

      Sept. 22, '11:
I realize I am dreaming and remember my task to eat a mushroom. I look around in the yard but don't see any. I command a mushroom to appear.
I hear singing from the neighbor's house. Finally I find something that looks kind of like a mushroom. I eat it and wait for results. I feel slightly high, but then the dream fades and I am in bed.

It is a false awakening. My sheets move on their own. It is kind of creepy. I am very cold. I get up and walk down a hallway, leaning against the wall. I feel very sleepy.
The scene fades and I am in bed again.

I don't move, but imagine moving my arms and clapping my hands. It feels real. I pinch my nose but I can still breath, so I know I am dreaming.

I get up, but I can't see. I open my eyes for a second and I am in bed again (still). I start over, get up and walk in the dark. I feel along the wall and touch a desk (my old art desk) and I feel a light switch.
Then I feel a large cat and pick it up. The cat is as long as my torso, but not heavy. My sight returns after I leave the room.
So I go outside and find another mushroom. I eat it and the dream fades again.

For a third time I enter a conscious dream and find a mushroom. This one tastes pretty bad, and looks like it could be fake, made of foam. It is red with white spots.
      I wake slightly yet again.

Now I am not lucid. I am an Amish man, in the kitchen with my wife. I realize I am dreaming. I cut open a pumpkin, or melon, and pour some blue alcohol into it, shake it, and drink from it.
      The dream soon fades again.

Now I am in a car with my mom who is driving. She is driving way too fast down the curvy road. She tells me about when she was younger and crashed into a tree.
I put on my seat belt and say "This is probably a dream anyway."

    14. Fozzie Bear Costume and Girl from Earlier Dream

      by , 09-22-2011 at 08:34 PM
      Nonlucid, Lucid, Partially lucid

This is roughly lucid night #113

Sept. 20, '11: I am lying in bed with my girlfriend. I guy in a Fozzie Bear costume is dancing above us. Everything goes in slow motion and I realize that I'm dreaming, but I think it is my girlfriend's dream.

I bite Fozzie's nose and rip it off. Then I grab an ear (floppy, like a dog's) and rip it off, then the other ear too.
And I pull his plastic eyes off and rip open the mouth untill the head is split open and I see the person inside the costume. Then I sort of throw the guy.

I wake up with a gasp. It is a false awakening, but I think I am actually awake.
I ask my girlfriend if she had a dream about a muppet. Then I tell her my dream that I just had about the Fozzie bear costume.

In a later dream I become lucid while in a large, mostly empty parking lot. Someone tells me to go see who is in the car nearby. I think "Is it Sheila?" (I girl I have met in a few lucid dreams, but not in a long time.

It is a girl who was in an earlier dream. She looks like a girl I knew in college, who married my friend. I ask her why she is here. I don't really get an answer (or I don't remember it).
I ask her "How can I find Sheila?" but I wake up as I am asking the question.

      Nonlucid, Lucid, Partially lucid

Sept. 20, 2011, Tuesday: I am in my parents' house, trying to turn off the lights before they get home. But the lights won't stay off.
As I walk up the stairs I think that this reminds me of dreams I've had.
Then I am in my old bedroom. I have to get ready for church. My janitor uniform is laid out on the bed. I am trying to have a shower and get dressed, but I can't get any privacy. My whole family is there, and some other people. I am in a towel and feeling anxiety.
I yell out "I'm going to sleep!" and get in bed with my towel.

Then I become mostly lucid and my mom's face appears right in my face. I yell at her "I cut the [energy] bond between us!" I press her face in and sort of consume her.

Notes: I have not gone to church in many years, and I haven't worked as a janitor in a long time. It seems that parts of my past were coming back to bother me in this dream.
I wasn't sure if absorbing my mother was a good idea. I could have just made her vanish, or go away. But I guess consuming her dream figure is like reclaiming the energy she takes from me.
