Lucid Dreams
There was a non-lucid precursor to this dream, but I can hardly remember it now. The lucid dream was so long too, it felt like an hour. As for classification, I would actually consider this an "epic lucid" with my epic dreams commonly being long non lucid dreams. It fits all of the classifications, and then being lucid. The non-lucid precursor to the dream involved me getting set to a prison for supposedly murdering someone. The world had become like the book 1984, where you were supposedly monitored by anyone. My sentence was three years. The prison was on an island, but I met up with this young Asian girl who tried to break me out by leading me across this boardwalk at night. On the first attempt, we were caught, but the second time, we broke out and walked back to my house. When I got home, I walked in the door casually. "Dad, I'm home from the death camp, two years early too." It was around this time that I woke up. I think that this was a DEILD I reentered the dream somehow, and became lucid. The first thing that I remember doing was yelling "clarity" and touching things to stabilize the dream. Every time that I yelled "clarity" the brightness would increase for a second or two, then return to normal. I yelled "permanent clarity" and the dream remained vivid and bright. At first, I tried to find the girl that had helped me escape the prison. For some reason, I had become very attached to her. I tried conjuring her with the "behind the door trick", but I could no longer find her. Then, for the longest time, I just walked around the house, feeling the surroundings and stabilizing the dream. I was touching door-frames and counter tops. I was kind of stumped on what to do, and I did not know what to make of my time. The dream's recreation of my house was stunningly accurate. Once again, as I did in lucid dreams #3 and #7, I went around touching things and experimenting, trying to further stabilize and lengthen the dream time. I can remember meeting my dad in the dream. He was in the family room, and as typical of lucid dreaming characters, he told me that lucid dreaming was bad and that nobody should ever do it. Eventually, I went outside. At first I wanted to try flying, but later the reason became that nothing was happening. When I opened the door, there was nothing but a white void, as though the dream had not prepared for me to go outside. But things began to form around me. I could tell it was a city setting, but that It looked colorful and cartoonish. I was able to minimally direct the creation of the outdoor city, but it was frustratingly hard to control. I frowned upon the cartoonish nature of the area, and decided that it would be fun to destroy the city, being lucid. I looked around. All of the buildings were prominently labeled with their function. (Police station, Fire station, Post office, etc) I decided to try the fire station first. I held up my hand, and a white laser beam shot out of my hand. It was not a powerful attack, but it pitted and gouged the outside of the building. "Make the power level 50!" I'm not entirely certain why I said this. It seems to be that when I say something in a lucid dream, it does not get said in quite the way that I meant. I tried again, and the laser was much more powerful this time. After I was satisfied with destroying the fire station, I targeted this group of dream characters. They looked like some sort of boy scout troop. But this large, overweight woman emerged from the chaos. She had a very long nose, like a beak. She also had a purple dress, and she looked almost like some nightmare. (Keep in mind the cartoonish nature of this lucid dream) Beak woman:"Stop that right now!" Me:"But this is my dream, I can do anything without consequence!" (Like go on a destructive rampage shooting laser beams out of my hands.) Beak woman:"You think that you can do anything without consequence?! That is not the case in your dreams!" I could sense that this dream character was powerful, or at least telling one iota of truth. I wanted someone to back me up. "Alright, where's Lia Manei?!" Knowing that Lia is my dream guide, she would resolve the issue. This curtain rose at the end of the street, where there was some kind of stage, and she was wearing this broad red hat, and this facepaint over her mouth that made it look like she had a huge, almost creepy smile on. Though I've known her forever now, and I'm accustomed to these costume changes. She proceeded to teleport next to me. "Lia Manei, This dream character thinks that there is a consequence to me doing whatever I want in a dream. What should we do?" I said this confidently, knowing that she would take my side. Lia Manei didn't reply, but proceeded to conjure a tree trunk and have it collapse onto the beak woman. When it fell, I saw her arms become really long, and her hands turned to black claws. She pushed the log off of her and she had become this nightmare monster. I flew up into the air. I was ready to lash out and attack with my lasers again, but I remembered what it is better to do with nightmares. "STOP! Your a nightmare! What do you represent?!" The monster-woman shrank back down, and became a kitten. I flew back down, where Lia Manei had already picked up the kitten and tried to open the cat's mouth to illicit some sort of response. I woke up at that moment. So yeah, that's it. I skimped on a lot of detail in the beginning, mainly because the dream was so long, and It would have been too long to actually remember it all. But the ending portion, is in my opinion, more interesting than all else.

My dream recall has been crap lately, but I had a lucid dream last night. For as happy as I am that I became lucid, I didn't really enjoy this dream as much, for as cool as it sounds. I was in a Hunger Games sort of situation. I can remember running though the woods being chased by this girl with a handgun. The woods were mostly pine trees, but eventually I burst out into a clearing. The clearing had more shrubbery and smaller plants, and there was a distinct orange lighting to the scene. When I got into the clearing, I realized that I'd been following a dirt trail that led to a three way junction. It was at about this time that my pursuer opened fire on me. I ran to the left. I was getting tired of running. I kind of looked up to my left. Bullets were flying by me. Then I said something to myself. "Well, It doesn't matter if I get hit, I'm dreaming anyway." I get lucid and immediately stop running. I start to walk back towards the girl. She is still shooting at me, but missing. I walk closer, and knowing that this is the Hunger Games, I want to kill her. But she shoots me right in the chest. I look down and see the bullet on the ground in front of me. I walk over in front of her. She is too terrified to run. She drops the gun. At this point, I kicked her in the chest and pushed her down. I stood on her with one foot. She and I wrestled around for awhile, but it was no contest, me being lucid. I was fighting her off with just one foot. Eventually, I killed her. I didn't take a good look at this girl until after I killed her. She had an ugly, wrinkly face, a sort of square, fat body, and thin, tangled hair. I can remember her wearing a sort of plaid jacket. Normally, at this point, I would move onto pursuing one of my goals, but I haven't been focused on lucid dreaming lately, and couldn't think of any. I had this violent impulse. I wanted someone else to fight, someone that would be more of a challenge. I tried to conjure another combatant. I just wanted them to appear in front of me. I started noticing a fog matching a flesh tone, and it taking the shape of a human body. But at this point, I woke up.

I know this is poorly worded. There was a lot to type in. The only interesting thing about the dream is the Portal-door-style traveling. I was watching the Foreword unto dawn series of videos that's been coming out on youtube. (A series of videos pretending to the storyline of Halo 4, that will be coming out very soon) I was excited that the last episode had finally come out, but when I got about two minutes into watching it, A game showed up. It was a really cheap, bad looking game. It involved building a tower taller and taller. It said that I had to play it and get above a certain score to see the rest of the video. I played the game for like two minutes and then closed it out. I really wanted to see the rest of the video. I had only unlocked about two more minutes of the video. I was dreaming of these three villain men. They were all really strong looking, wearing black jackets and standing in the middle of the plaza of this city. Then this thing, It looked like sort of Iron Man armor transformed onto them. But the armor was old and rusty. Each of them turned into animals, that some would consider evil. One became a crow, another that was a wolf. I can't remember what the third man's mech animal was. But at this point that they started destroying the city. Then, one of the men stood forward, and the chest of his mech suit opened. The outer metal shell split into "ribs". Inside of it was this big pulsing orange energy orb. I can remember vividly how it crackled and steamed. The dream changed, and I was in my own body, with K. We were at the top of a skyscraper. She wanted to get down, and for some reason, we were in a huge hurry. She ran into a stairwell. The stairwell was next to a window, so on one side, there was a glass wall giving a view of the city. There was also an elevator door on each floor. The stairs were at a very shallow angle. K was really booking it down the stairs. I was running after her, skipping every other step. After I had chased her down the stairs for awhile. She got into an elevator. "Why didn't we do this ten floors ago?" The elevator started moving down, but stopped on a lower floor. When the door opened, the elevator was really far from the building. Between them was just a huge black void. And the people on the building side couldn't get to the elevator. The elevator closed and headed down again. When we got off, we got off onto a moving train. Then I met with this boy. He had long blonde hair, combed up really neat. He was bleeding from a would below his eye. He had drops of blood on his hand as well. Then he started complaining to me that he didn't like that he was bleeding. He wrapped himself in a blanked and went to sit with a woman that I think was his mother. Then I just got lucid out of nowhere. I saw my supposed guide sitting in one of the seats. I walked over and sat down next to her. She was reading a fashion magazine. "I have some very important questions for you" I pounded my fist into my palm. "Are you my dream guide?" "Yes." "What is your name?" "I have many names..." She began running though a long list of names, both boy names and girl names. "Ok, but I need a name that I can use for my dream journal." "You may choose one. But remember these things: Do not eat a rusty hinge, and beauty and the beast is very long." lolwut. Then the dream destabilized, and I lost lucidity. Someone asked me if I was interested in marriage in the royal court. Then I woke up.

So I had gotten lucid somewhere outdoors, and decided to try some flying. I made a jet of fire in my hand, and started to fly straight up, going faster and faster. For awhile, I was looking straight up, when I stopped and looked around me, I saw that I was above the clouds. I looked back up and thought back a few lucids to when I was flying at light speed. I decided to do that again. But when I did the dream destabilized. I was dreaming/hallucinating static. I could tell I was between being in the dream and being awake. I realized that I had to DEILD. Somehow, it worked. The dream had changed when I returned, I was now inside a house. For some reason, I had got the feeling that my family had just moved into this new house because there were a bunch of cardboard boxes laying around. I somehow got into some kind of battle with a dream character. I know that it was a female, but I have no idea who exactly. She was wearing body armor. I must have forgot that I was lucid for awhile, because the best that I could do to fight her was try to hit her with a hammer. I realized that I was dreaming, and for some reason, I thought of the video game Skyrim. I decided to try using a dragon shout. "Fus Ro Dah" Although there was no blue energy wave, like there is in the game, I sent my opponent flying into a wall. I wanted to battle another dream character, and I noticed my mother asleep on the couch. I asked her if she wanted to battle me. She said that she was very tired, and would do it later. (Agian, forgetting that I was lucid.) I decided to pursue something other than senseless violence. My lucidity started to get clearer at this point, and I saw two of my cats play-fighting. I looked at them; knowing that I was lucid, and thought it would be interesting if they were dreaming about fighting one another, and that I was having a shared dream experience with my cat. I looked up and saw my father on a second floor overlook of the kitchen. He gave me a very dirty look for some reason. I proceeded to think of other things to utilize the lucid dream for. I thought about trying to meditate in a lucid dream, just to see what would happen. I remembered a long time ago, when I tried to meditate in a dream. I thought about how peaceful I felt, and how when I sat down, golden light shone around me, and I was surrounded by trees. I had a vivid visualization of this past dream. I think I woke up not long after that. I wrote down a few notes so I wouldn't forget what had happened during this dream.

This was actually a fragment related to Saturday night's lucid dream. I only remembered this portion of the dream today at school. I was lucid, and in the desert town, with sandstone/mud buildings. I was looking down a street that was a T-intersection. A tank comes in from the right, and fires at me, only once. I was lucid, and held my hand up. The bullet hit right in my hand and I did not feel anything in my hand. There was a little bit of wind from the blast, but all of the fire and smoke was directed away from me.

I had a hard time getting up this morning. I can't remember this dream very well but it was a lucid. Me and my supposed guide were sitting together. We were in a small stucco house, like one you would expect to see in Egypt or the middle east. We sat at a small wooden table by a window. Out the window, there were several more stucco buildings followed by a mountain range off in the distance. Man, I would give anything to remember what she was telling me about. I can remember it being some really profound advice about my life. I woke up after we had talked for awhile. Edited: Learn about my dream guide by visiting my "Ramblings" entry.

One of the most stable and least fun lucid dreams that I've had so far. So me and...someone. Idk really who, but she was about my age and she was leading me inside this castle. It had a cathedral look and was entirely white. I was already lucid. We walked though this throne room and to the left, there was a dining hall. The entire room was white, and there was a very large throne positioned at a long dining table, for like a king or something. It was flanked by four smaller thrones. The girl who had followed me told me to just sit and be patient while the court was in session. "But what about having fun in a lucid dream? Flying?" "There will be time for that soon enough." I sat down at a table in the corner. By now the large dining table had several people sitting at it, and more people were coming into the room. Everyone sat down at the table, and I sat down at another table, alone. I decided to work on stabilizing the dream so I felt some of the food and dishes on the table. I couldn't get over the fact that the dream was sort of blurry with the visuals. My sense of touch seemed active. I could discern the feel of a greasy plate from a clean one. I was very restless that my precious dream time was draining away, so I moved to another table and felt a basket of flowers. Again, very active touch, very realistic. But the visuals were bland. I decided to throw an apple at the wall. I wanted this counsel to break up and pay attention to the fact that I was lucid dreaming. Knowing there was no consequence, I picked a small green apple out of a bowl and was about to throw it, but instead it just fell out of my hand and rolled away on the floor. But it hit against my leg with another very active sensation of touch. I started to look back down the hallway. It was getting darker, and the scene had changed from the large cathedral castle to my grandparent's house. I could tell that the dream was ending by fading to back, so I shouted out. "Let there be light!" Apparently quotes form the god don't work all too well, because I saw the dream get briefly brighter until I woke up. A little added description: The "king" man wore white armor and this spiky crown with large diamonds in it. I couldn't discern his approximate age, but I knew that he had either blonde or white hair. The girl seems to match the descriptions of my dream guide, from my old dream journal. Even down to the apparel she most commonly wears. I wonder what that counsel was about. And here are some of the non lucid dreams. I typed these in later due to school... I started out getting some explanation from this guy who was mining some rare metal somewhere in northern Russia. I can remember the whole dream scene being an ocean/lake, with some glacial mountains around it. He started explaining to me that the metal that he was mining was very chemically reactive with water. He took a small piece and put it into the water, and it started to bubble and the chunk of metal was shrinking. He said that it got more interesting when there was only one atom of metal left. The chunk of metal had started out at about the size of a golf ball, and was now about the size of a sand grain. Then it exploded into this huge, shiny perfect sphere, shrunk again. It repeated several times, and each time the sphere was smaller. It was over. I was going though a very typical anxiety dream about school. It involved me walking out to the bus. K was there, and she reminded me that I needed to get some homework from my class. I went back to the classroom, saw the homework on the desk, then went back to the bus. When I came back again, K told me that I still hadn't got the homework. I went back again, and saw all of the school buses drive out of the bus loop. When I got back to the classroom the second time, It had become this large room that looked like an airplane hanger. There was one man sitting on top of a school bus parked in the hanger. For some reason, my shoes were on top of the school bus and this man had put them up there. I asked him how to get my shoes down, and he told me: "Believe that you can't and you can." I told myself that getting my shoes was impossible, and sure enough, I teleported to the top of the bus. Once I had put my shoes on, the man disappeared and the dream scene changed. I was now in my neighborhood, up on the northern end, where my old bust stop used to be. A sense of urgency, almost panic came over me, Like I was having a nightmare. I remembered what the man had told me. So I decided to not believe that I could make a sword out of a stick I had found on the ground. (Ahh, swords. My dream sign.) This police car crashed into a house, and a lot of dream characters started running and screaming. I decided to do a nose plug reality check. It failed for some odd reason, and I remained non lucid. I proceeded to try and make swords out of several more objects, but failed.

I can't really put all the pieces together. I tried to WILD last night. A whole slew of lucid dreaming things happened including a lucid that I barely remember, a false awakening, and two additional non lucid dreams. Let me start with the least interesting and work my way up. Suicide The first dream entailed me and my mother. We decided that we were going to "Go die" so we had dug two holes in the ground and acquired some coffins. Then my mother said that she was going to carve a death note into an Ipad. She asked me if she could use my Ipad instead of hers. Then she got an exacto knife and started carving a message into the screen about why we had decided to die/commit suicide. We went outside, and got into our coffins. I'm not entirely sure why, but I decided to get back out and have second thoughts about committing suicide. I was just standing in the drive in front of our house, and started talking to myself about the decision to commit suicide. The my mother got out of her coffin and decided that she didn't want to do it either. Then I told her that I needed to get a new Ipad since she scratched a death note into the screen. Deathmatch Another video game dream. Halo reach this time. It has been strange to me that video game dreams have stepped up their game and gotten alot more interesting and vivid recently. (Also strange because I haven't played Halo reach in almost a year now.) I was literally a spartan. Not like controlling it or anything, like you normally would in a game, but my body was actually a spartan. But the game was still playing out normally. We were on this strange map that was sort of like a junkyard, with a dingy orange lighting to it. The game started and I started looking for a way to help a the team. I saw a scorpion tank that nobody seemed to be using. I got in and looked back the direction that I had spawned. A wraith pulled between me and the direction that I had spawned. I fired and killed it. Then a bunch of enemy players started swarming around my tank with energy swords. They were jumping around, trying to avoid getting shot. I realized that they were going to board my tank, so I bailed out. When I got out, I took out my own energy sword and got into the fight. (The use of swords (though energy swords) still coincides with swords being a dream sign for me.) Unlike real halo, it took two hits to kill someone with the sword, one to break their shields, and one to finish the job. I can also remember the electric effect of the sheild being very vivid and realistic. When fighting the first enemy, I broke his shields and killed him with two swift slashes. The second guy hit me from behind, breaking my shields. Our blades crossed and we pushed against one another. Then I killed him. The final enemy, who was like the leader got in. I hit him and broke his shield, but my sword ran out of charge after the first hit. I tried to melee him again, with the sword hilt. He stabbed me in the chest, and the dream painlessly faded away. Here are some images for the non-halo players to get an idea of what this looks like. Scorpion tank Energy sword Terraskating I seriously wonder about classifying this as a minor event. I will. I was running down this highway, though a city very fast. I was lucid, but my recall was worse than my lucidity, so I couldn't remember how I got lucid. Though I was lucid. I can remember thinking about how cool this was, my sixth lucid dream. I started to feel like my back was cold and wet. I false-awoke into my room and the window was open and all of this rain and wind was coming and and there was a violent thunderstorm happening outside. Annoyed, I closed the window and went back to "sleep" I'm not sure what to make of all these dreams. There was a lot of waking up involved last night, and I probably don't have them in the right order. I was on an extremely consistent sleep schedule the last few nights, going to bed just around 9:15. But last night, I didn't make it to bed until 10:00.

Most of these are non lucid dreams that I find boring. Skip to Tuesday night for the good stuff. Sunday Night (Pointless desert dream) The first thing that I remember was stepping out of a small outpost, cobbled together from shanty metal plates, and part of an airplane cabin. All around the outpost was a sea of sand dunes, and at the edge of visibility, jagged mountains. This girl who was about twelve, with blonde hair and glasses (The smart looking type) goes by me on this tractor-type vehicle with tank treads. Though the back of my head, I get the dream's plot. We're doing some kind of archeology dig in the desert, and I'm helping. The tank was slow but I had a hard time keeping up. My feet were really heavy. I tried to blame it on the boots that I was wearing. (This is usually what it's like when you're having a nightmare and you want to get away from something.) When we got over the first sand dune, there was a large army green party tent with a bunch of machinery under it. For some reason, I got really attached to this rusty old wagon under the tent and started to pull it. The girl on the tractor told me to hurry up and get to the digging site. I asked her If I could ride on the tractor because my shoes were so heavy. She said no. I managed to make it up the next sand dune, and saw the dig site. It was pretty small. The girl who had arrived before me was working, as well as these two really young boys with short hair. As soon as I was on top of the sand dune, everyone came up to see me. The girl told met that there was a sandstorm coming and that we should get back to the base. I started to head back, but the girl got worried because she thought the wagon should/shouldn't be left out in the sandstorm. Whatever it was, me and her got into a really pointless and mundane argument that seemed to last forever. The sandstorm was bearing down on us, and I started to get back to the base. I couldn't see the distant mountains anymore. And it took me a few minutes to make it past the tent again and back to the base. But as soon as the four of us made it back to base, we found out there was nothing there. I suddenly entered this sort of fake lucid state. I tried to build us a new base. But instead, I build a landing pad and this large kind of helicopter-looking aircraft with four big turbines, two on each side. It was sort of a teal color. I think this comes from the same dream, but I have no idea how it connects. I was in the desert still, but the sand dunes were a lot smaller now. Plus, there were no mountains in the distance now. And there was an abrupt, straight border with a forest of large pine trees that were all exactly the same height. The dream characters from before were there, and the girl took this red Frisbee sized plastic ring and spun it around like a coin. Apparently it was some kind of archery challenge because I had a bow and arrow. When I shot it (and hit it nonetheless) The arrow and ring shot straight up into the sky. Then my quiver came off my back, floated over to the same spot that I hit the ring, and went straight up into the sky. We started to go looking for the plastic ring and my arrows, and we went into the forest next to the desert. At first, we could not find them, but then this well-camouflaged door opened in the side of one of the trees. My mom comes out holding the ring and my arrows. "I believe these are yours. I found them in my yard." This whole thing doesn't make an ounce of sense! Monday Night I was going to a pool party at my old friend's house. I can remember walking to the pool with a couple friends, but it was rather uneventful. When we got there, this girl that I've never met before got out of the pool and started kissing me and telling me that she loved me. I can remember that she was very overweight and didn't seem to have good hygiene. At first, I sort of let her kiss me and stuff, because I thought it was a joke or something. Then she started holding me down and I think she was trying to have sex with me or something. (This is about as disturbing as it gets, so if you read this part, you're good.) The dream gets really hazy at this point. After awhile, I came to my senses. She was still kissing me but we were in a really fancy restaurant with my parents. I told her I had to get going and she seemed a little sad, but was fine with me leaving. Tuesday Night (Last Night) A minor event. I can't remember what It was about at all, but I had one. Became lucid and woke up. Also a WILD experience that I accidentally let myself have. I went though hallucinations and all that stuff. The dream started with these credits, like a movie was starting. I can't remember what they said because the letters were really small and sort of blurry. I can't remember what else happened, but I think that it was a WILD The final dream for this triple-length entry is by far one of the most surreal and interesting dream experiences that I've had thus far. It was totally worth it to type all of those lousy pointless dreams just so I could get to tell you about this one interesting good one. I was floating up, holing onto about a dozen balloons. But they were glowing with a hazy gold light. I looked around, and there were thousands of these balloons all around me. They were all drifting up from the middle of this giant bronze gear in the floor of a titanic room. The center of the gear was some kind of aperture that released the balloons. Some of the balloons were alone, others were in clumps. Another clump floated up next to me, and my english teacher was hanging onto it. I vividly remember her voice and choice of words almost exactly as she would have done in real life, and she was teaching me about lucid dreaming (of all things) as we drifted upwards holding onto these balloons.

By the time my recall picks up, I was already lucid. (My dream recall is worse than my lucidity. ) I was in my family room. The first thing I remember doing was talking with my cat. My cat was actually a portrayal of my cousin. I can't remember most of our dialogue but we were arguing because we were in the same lucid dream and we wanted to know who would get to use their powers of dream control, and who would be a bystander. I eventually said to him that I challenged him to a dream duel. Winner keeps the dream. I punched the ground near him. He ran away and faded. I got up and decided that I would go outside and try to find my guide or practice some dream control, since the opportunity so rarely presents itself. I walked though the kitchen and towards the front door, my parents stood back. They must have realized that I was lucid and wanted to go about it on my own. On my way out the door I said to myself "my shoes are on!". I'm pretty sure it worked but it was kind of unnecessary. The dream world was beautiful. The sky was nearly alien with two morning suns poking though the clouds. I can remember there being alot of flowers in our front garden. But one orchid was particularly beautiful. I began down the walk when something started buzzing in my ear, like a mosquito. I dusted away from my ear. It was persistent no matter how many times that I swatted or dusted the annoyance away from my ear. My ear began to hurt as I began to slap it and dig my finger into it trying to get the buzzing out. I lost focus and forgot about maintaining the lucid experience. I woke up in my frustration.

I just had an awesome lucid dream last night, and since I was supposed to start coming back to this DJ now, I thought that this would make the perfect place for me to start up agian. So anyways, It started out with me at some kind of festival for very famous people. I didn't get to go inside the building but I kept on seeing limousines and other exotic and high-end vehicles driving into the parking structure. Eventually, for a reason that I cannot remember, (My recall was poor at this point) I started driving a bus. The bus had extremely bad handling and I could barely reach the pedals. I was about to go though an intersection and I stepped on the brake. Only my big toe could reach and I barely pressed it down. The bus ran though the intersection and collided with another car. "Oh, I'm in deep crap now..." I said. Someone on the bus said something. This triggered lucidity. "Or, maybe I'm dreaming!" I said to myself Now I can't really remember what happened after that, but my recall picks up when I started flying. (I think I might have had a false awakening, too.) I can remember saying something like "I get to fly as fast as light" Next thing I know, I was in third person, flying away from earth. Earth shrunk to a dot in a matter of seconds. Then, all of the stars turned to white lines. (Think Millennium Falcon light speed) Then I accelerated again, going so fast there was just a purple tube of energy around me. At this point, My lucidity sort of amped up and things really got good. I appeared in my neighborhood, and went back into first person. "Cool, I'm having one of those "Neighborhood" dreams" I took a short time to stabilize. I began to look for my dream guide. I began calling for them to show themselves. I noticed another DC, a small boy with a huge baseball helmet. Before I knew it, Dream characters started appearing everywhere. Some of them looked deceptively like my DG, but were not. The people were there to distract me. I waved my hand over a group of people, and shouted "Delete" The people spontaneously disappeared. I made my way down the street, deleting people as I went, but more and more people were appearing, and the "Delete" was becoming less effective. "Pause" I shouted. Everyone but me froze. "Delete All" I shouted, and all of the people, frozen in their positions were pulled towards a small portal in the floor of the street and fell down it. The portal closed when everyone had fallen though. I turned around. "Draw Dream Guide" It took me a second to realize this command actually worked. I turned around, and looked at the spot where the portal had closed. A black man with long hair in dreads appeared. He's tall and thin, in his 20's and had a huge silver and black boombox and bling necklaces. He stood up. "You're not my dream guide!" "Yes I am, man!" He said in a phony voice. The dream immediately destabilized and I woke up.

I was going though some dream about school. I can remember this girl who asked me out last year was really mad at me for no reason. Then my friend Aaron came and pushed me down for no reason. I got up, and thought for a second. I sort of uttered "Why am I at school on a Sunday?" I screamed it the second time. "WHY AM I AT SCHOOL ON A SUNDAY!!" I became lucid at this point and started to walk to my class. I believe that I screamed "I'm dreaming!" a couple times to affirm it in my head. I got into the classroom, that was mostly empty. I started feeling my teacher's desk to stabilize the dream. I can specifically remember touching a tape dispenser, a stapler, and a bottle of hand sanitizer. I think I even went as far as to use the hand sanitizer. The dream was super-vivid for awhile after, at least as long as I was able to get to the stairwell at the other end of the hall. I went into the stairwell and I saw the girl from school I have a crush on. I kind of fell down the stairs on top of her. I decided to try and ask her out because this was a dream and it would make good practice. I did my best to be confident, and actually did a pretty good job. She said something weird back like "asi-de-hug". I can remember the last word was "hug". I started to chase her around asking her things, and she just kept saying that. The dream got really unstable after a little while and I woke up.

I haven't had any recall since my last DJ entry, six days ago. Then I had this lucid dream out of the blue. So I was riding a bike in a large group of people, many of them being family members, friends and other people I know in general. We were riding though a forest/park setting. I can remember the sun was either rising or setting. I can't remember many details of what happened during the bike ride or if it was a race. I can remember talking with some of my friends from school for awhile but I can't remember what we were actually talking about. I can remember more clearly when we got off our bikes and got into some kind of vehicle. I could probably describe it as a mobile home or a semi-truck. I can remember it being all white with an orange stripe down the side, and a black windscreen. Some of the people that I knew got into it too. I was the one driving, and I drove for probably ten minutes. I can then remember pressing a button on the dashboard of the vehicle. It caused the front part to sort of collapse and crush me. The crushing was very uncomfortable and lasted about ten seconds. Out of pure stupidity, I pressed the button two or three additional times. We stopped in a parking lot when I realized that at the very back of the vehicle (The interior was a long, plain white room without any seats.) was my (now dead) grandmother. She was kind of a monochromatic blue color, and sort of hazy. I'm assuming she was a ghost. She was holding a knife. The knife on the other hand, was silver, with a brown handle. (As it should have been) She started killing everyone inside with the knife. Eventually, A friend from my school named A was the only one alive other than me, and he was wrestling with the ghost of my grandmother. It was obvious he would lose. My mind was racing. The first thing that struck me as odd was that I was seeing my grandparent again, when they have now been dead for almost a year. I questioned reality. From there I got lucid, just as A was overwhelmed and killed. I put my arms across my chest, then forced them out, pushing out to the sides. The vehicle around me exploded into several large pieces. The ghost of my grandmother was nowhere to be found. From here, I proceeded to stabilize the dream. I looked at a large oak tree at the side of the road, and tried to make out the details of the leaves, to some success. Behind me was a small building, with entirely glass walls. It was kind of horseshoe shaped and very small, only one floor. In the middle was a counter with a cashier and people waiting in line, I'm assuming to make purchases. I decided to try some dream control and went up to the man that was first in line. I can remember him having a sort of tall face, and being bald. I punched him in the cheek, while screaming "sonic punch". I had to reach up above my head because he was quite a tall man. When I hit him he just sort of looked at me for about half a second. My hand was still on his cheek and he just randomly flew back and hit the inside wall of the horseshoe shaped building. We got into a huge fight at this point. Knowing I was dreaming, I was doing these remarkable martial arts moves and the man that I was fighting was really no match for me. Eventually, I wound up standing on a table, holding a coffeepot. The man made some joke, I think it was related to World War II, but I can't remember it. I poured the coffee on him. At this point the dream destabilized. I knelt down on the table and screamed "stabilize dream!" I had a False awakening. I can't remember the details of it but I woke up, and went around my house telling family members and friends about the awesome lucid dream I just had.

Fragment- I was on my parent's bed. I started doing all of these weird stretches. For some reason I was extremely flexible in the dream. I was able to bend backwards and touch my feet to the back of my head at one point. Fragment (Recalled at school, so I added it later)- I was at some kind of boot camp, doing this exercise where I had to walk over all of these parallel logs imbedded about halfway into the ground. I can remember running along the tops of the logs. I was on my way to school. I was with a grandparent who I think was walking a random dog with them. We walked up to the center of our town and they told me that it was 7:26 and I had to be at school by 7:30 when my school is two miles away! I asked them to take some weird random thing I was carrying. I can't remember what It was. They started to walk away, and I started walking towards school. Something started to feel just-not-right about what was going on. I soon did an RC and became lucid. But the dream immediately ended.

The first thing I can remember was coming home from school and being very excited. My mother told me that my old childhood friends (their names being Riley and JP) were coming up from Georgia for a visit. I came home and went into my room and played Minecraft for a little while. Then I went on the internet and there was this article about these explosions happening because of some gas that had escaped into the atmosphere. They were talking about what states in the US had explosions over them. Then, the knock on the door. I ran over to see, and sure enough my two childhood friends were there. They were coming in and for some reason I was having trouble seeing them. My mom came upstairs and took me into the bathroom. She told me that I had some sort of sickness that caused my eyes to swell up and make it difficult to see. She said that it would go away in a couple of hours. Eventually Riley and JP were up in my room. I showed them the article on the internet about the explosions happening. The article had updated and there was a video that showed the times that the explosions had happened. Then a newscaster came on and said "This catastrophe is only going to get worse." Around this time my problem seeing wore off and I could see fine again. My parents called me from downstairs and told me that I had to go to some kind of after-school study session or something. I told them I wanted to stay home and be with my friends, but they told me that if I did not go I was grounded. We all got into the car and drove to my school. I was walking down the hallway, and I told Riley and JP that I was sorry that they were having such a bad time visiting me when all of this boring stuff was happening. Then I took out this comic strip I drew. I wanted them to read it while I was studying so that they wouldn't be bored. The comic strip showed people fighting, but the paper had some kind of power, and the comic strip was animated. It was sort of like a stop-motion movie with a bunch of drawings actually moving around on the page. The problem was the animations would only play once. Then my parents made us get into the car again. He told us we were going to the arcade and going to see a movie. I cannot remember what movie we were seeing, just that I did not want to go see it. I said that I did not want to go to the arcade because it was a crappy, worn down place. He said that we could just go to the movie, but I think we went to the arcade anyway. Then I cannot remember how I arrived at the far side of my own neighborhood. It was foggy and cold. There was a man wearing a black jacket mugging me. I can remember him having a big knife. I became Lucid and immediately took care of the threat at hand by throwing a huge fireball at him. But as soon as I did that the dream destabilized too quickly for me to salvage it. I was awake, and I'm about 95% sure I was actually awake, and had not just FA'd. I affirmed to myself that I would go back to sleep but remember all of the dreams that I already had. I fell back into another non-lucid dream. I was actually inside the game Minecraft and there were these guards. They told me that I was in trouble for stealing. They told me that I had to go inside a wooden building; that was like a jail or something. I went inside, and It looked like any Minecraft house. There was a bed, a workbench and a couple storage chests. For some reason, I got really sad and sort of spiritual. I began punching the walls of the building, and just as in the game, I got out of the building and went onto the rooftop. I moved the bed up there and went to sleep. But just as I was falling asleep, I can remember someone walking towards the bed. I false awoke back into the same dream. I was really groggy and the dream was no longer like Minecraft. I was just in a bed. I was laying on my side with my arms wrapped around something. I got up and realized there was another person. I got up into a crawling position and realized who it was. I won't tell you her name, but I will tell you that SHE is from my school, she hates me, and she was totally naked! To some relief, I noticed that I was wearing cargo shorts and a T-shirt. I asked her what she thought she was doing she told me that she "could not resist any longer" I guess my mortal terror and shock caused me to have another false awakening. I had a vivid false awakening in my own bedroom. There was this boy in my room (who's name was Connor I think) He said that he was borrowing an eyepiece from my telescope to look at something. He set up this really old looking telescope on my windowsill and looked out at the sky from my window. I told him to just stay as long as he wanted. I was going back to sleep. I finally woke up in real life, after all of those dreams. I made sure to RC to make sure I was not going to FA again without catching it.
