Cory and I were planning out a route to visit Florida for vacation, and he wanted to drive down diagonally through Huntsville, AL. I was all annoyed by that because I didn't wanna go down there again, so I plotted out a route through Nashville to the far right of Tennessee and then downwards. He didn't like it because it would've been a long way around, but I refused to go through Huntsville. After that, I walked out onto the balcony to think about a compromise, and there was a neighbour out on the balcony beside ours, she was kind of a bigger woman with brown-ish hair up in a bun, sweeping the floor. I waved to her and said hi, but she just looked at me and then ignored me. Cory came out onto the balcony to ask me something, and he waved to her. She waved back and said hello. I was so put-out by that, how rude. I was laying down on the ground and I heard a voice calling to me. When I looked up, I saw my Bast beadsprite and also there was Yinepu beside her. The voice spoke to me and told me I wasn't being spiritual enough lately, which is kind of true. It told me that the Gods missed having me and I should spend more time with them. I remember the sun streaming down over me and I was really awe-struck by the whole experience. When I woke up from that dream, it really stuck in my mind as super-vivid.
My friends and I were having one last get-together before I moved away from the area. They were my old friends from my last few years of high school, and we were all sitting at this big picnic table that was out on the very edge of a wooden pier in the water. To get to the table, you had to cross another huge loading dock that was covered in shipping containers and fish, and also a a swinging wooden bridge that connected the two and was very wobbly. My friends were asking why I had to leave so soon and suggested I stay a few more days, but I knew I had to leave. I was staying in a big RV in an empty grassy field next to the dock, so technically I could've stayed as long as I wanted, but I really wanted to leave. We ate food and talked about the past for a while, and then I headed back to my RV. As I was crossing the wooden bridge, I heard them talking to each other, saying things like "He didn't have to leave so soon!" and "Well, he's never coming back, he never wanted to live in the south anyway." I went into the RV to pack up and secure some things, and noticed someone had put bacon in my pantry instead of in the fridge/freezer. It was still cold so I put it back in the freezer, and then took something else out of the freezer to put in the pantry. Then I realized I'd forgotten something back at the picnic table, so I ran back over there. But when I crossed the wooden bridge, the table was no longer on a pier anymore, it was on a hardwood floor with shelves in surrounding it. This didn't seem strange to me, though. I walked up to my friends but they didn't say anything to me, and that's when I looked at my reflection in the glass covering over one of the shelves and realized I was invisible and nobody could see me. I thought, "If I can just scare them, they'll be able to see me!" so I grabbed a little figurine on a shelf, broke off its ears and turned its eyes black so it looked super creepy, and then made it move in front of one of my friends. She screamed when she saw it, and immediately afterwards was able to see me. Then she told the others I was there invisible, and they all in turn let me scare them so they could see me as well. It was late at night, and Cory and I were out looking for a place that would rent us a steam vacuum. I guess there was a huge stain in our carpet and we couldn't wait until morning to clean it up. We came across a stip mall that had a Stanley Steemer store, but I said they wouldn't be open and we should just go elsewhere. Cory said we should go check anyway, and it turned out they were open, but when we went up to the service counter, he immediately asked to reserve a copy of the new RoboCop movie on DVD. I was totally shocked because we only had the money for the vacuum and he'd just wasted it to reserve a movie that didn't come out until next year, so we went home vacuum-less. It was the first day of school, and I was sitting in art class. The teacher had assigned us a project involving mixed media, and I'd chosen construction paper, highlighters, and colored pencils. I was trying to make a portrait of Yinepu, and worked very hard on it because I wanted it to be perfect, but I couldn't get the pieces of construction paper I'd cut to stay properly and had to resort to using the pencils for his head, and I was disappointed. I wanted to go back and fix it, but the class was over. As I was walking through the halls, everyone kept looking at me and giggling, and I had no idea why. After a few minutes of enduring it, I grabbed one of the gigglers and asked her what was so funny about me that made everyone laugh, and she pointed to the area above my head. I reached up but there was nothing there, and I realized they were seeing something I couldn't see, so I ignored them. Then I realized I had a lot of books from all my different classes, but I hadn't rented a locker yet, so I went up to the office and asked to rent one. The lady said it would be $65 for the year but when I paid the money, she said lockers wouldn't be assigned until tomorrow. I said "But what am I supposed to do with all these books?! I can't carry them all everywhere!" but she wouldn't help. Then I went to gym class, but the teacher wasn't there yet. There was a magazine rack next to the bleachers that had a copy of a Superman magazine with a drawing of Wonder Woman dressed in a Superman outfit. I was the only one there, so I just went out onto the middle of the basketball court and started rolling around like a cat. Then another student came in, a man with glasses who looked too old to be in school, and he asked me what I was doing. I told him "The teacher said today was act like a cat day." to see how many people I could get to join me in my silliness, and he actually believed me and started crawling around the floor. Soon, more students came, and the whole class was on the court acting like cats.
(This is from August 29.) I hadn't graduated high school, so one day I decided to go back. I moved into a big building that had identical dorms for all the high school students; it was very industrial looking. On the first day of school, I was really hyped up. I knew I would do better this time around and not fail, because my social anxiety wasn't as bad as it was back then. My first class was history class, and everyone seemed nice. The teacher was, I think, the librarian from the elementary school I went to at Fort Monroe. She handed out our first assignments, which involved talking to ten people in the class and listing them on the page as having certain characteristics, like "What person seemed most like a leader?" or "Who would be the best with finances?" I was completely mortified. Even though my social anxiety was better, it wasn't good enough for me to go around talking to everyone in the class. I sat there at my desk looking at the paper, it was covered in drawings of Yinepu and I pondered on that and wondered what it meant. I looked around and saw that the other students had gotten into big groups, some were laying around on the floor talking about the assignment and some had their desks in circles. I didn't know what to do, but a few people came up to me, probably sensing my dilemma, and told me to put their names down under certain categories. After I realized no one else was going to come by, I pretended to sleep at my desk and just decided to accept my F. After a while I started eating some candy, and the teacher walked up to me and said no candy was allowed in the class, so I stuffed the whole thing in my mouth and pretended like I didn't have any. Unfortunately she already saw it so I knew I would be in trouble later. When I got back to my dorm, I fell down on the couch relieved it was over, but then the doorbell rang. It was a classmate, and he said he'd found my debit and my credit card on a bench at the mall. I thanked him, but I was suspicious because he looked guilty, so I checked and my accounts were missing some money. I knew he had bought stuff at Reebok with it but couldn't prove it right away, so I thought about how I could get the security footage from the mall and show it to the police. Later on, I got online and noticed on my dad's Facebook profile he said he was going back to high school, which was weird because he has a college degree already. Apparently he'd moved in below me, so I looked out the window and, sure enough, there was his white truck in the parking lot. I decided to avoid him so I wouldn't have to talk to him. I was outside in a big yard. I think it was an old farm, because there was a big fence that stretched on for a few miles and an old three-story wooden building that looked like it was about to collapse. There was a cobra that was chasing me, and it really wanted to bite me even though I didn't do anything to it. I climbed up on the fence, which was tall enough to be out of reach of its strike, and ran along the top of the fence to get away, but it still followed me. Then I jumped off the fence and ran into the big wooden building to get away from it, but the building was creepy inside and full of grey aliens! I had a laser gun so I shot at them all video game-style as I ran through the building and up the levels. I think I was actually in a video game at this point because I could see my ammo and health bars. Each story had more aliens on it and was harder to get through, but I had to move fast to keep ahead of the cobra that was still chasing me. There were a lot of people in a big crowd, on either a red team or a blue team. I was on the blue team but everyone insisted I was on the red team and wouldn't believe me, so they made me wear a red hat with demon horns on the top.
I was walking barefoot on a hard dirt path, it was old and had grass growing on it and stones embedded in the dirt. In the distance was an old house, and a brown barn or shed further out. I was listening to my iPod, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" was playing, and I thought it was going to take me a long time to walk down the path to that house even though it wasn't very far. I think I met someone along the path, but I don't remember details. When I was sitting in the house, either the house from earlier or this was a separate dream, Cory came home, except there were two of him. He was all happy and talking to his clone, and he told me he was going to go running and then play tennis with his clone. I was super jealous because I wanted to go. I remember having some sort of notebook I was writing in, and at some point I was watching Doctor Who with Cory and we were talking about the Master and I was writing stuff about the show in the notebook. Just after a college lecture on the second floor, I raced to the elevator for the ground floor because I was upset over something. I knew the rest of the people were headed towards the elevator as well, but they were still around the corner so I went in and closed the doors early, knowing they wouldn't know I did it. Then the doors reopened and people came inside, and I was confused because I thought it would take me to the ground floor before it opened back up again. Then, when the elevator opened again, all the people got out and I realized I had actually traveled to the ground floor, picked up those people, and then let them out back on the second floor. So then the people from the lecture I tried to avoid got on the elevator with me that time. At some point the elevator got really big and it was metallic and shiny, and there was a box near the wall. Martin Freeman was there by the box as Watson from Sherlock, and I was all excited and shy but I talked to him anyway. I think then he either disappeared into the box, or left the elevator. I was at some kind of outdoor metaphysical bazaar where people had big areas set up selling things. It was the last day of the bazaar and it was about to close, and I found this really cool merchant with lots of things. On the table were small figurines near the end, and nearest to me were these weird bricks of incense that were carved to represent their smell. I saw one that had "Marzipan" carved on it in raised letters, but when I tried to smell it the lady who owned the booth said I didn't want that one because it had a bad smell. There were so many I couldn't decide, but she was already packing up her stuff and wound up packing them away as I looked at them. I walked further to the back and saw a high up shelf with some big statues on it. One of them looked like Yinepu as a human form with a jackal head, but when I took it off the shelf I noticed it had a mouse head. It was weird because I couldn't think of any Egyptian gods with a mouse head. There was another big statue on the shelf that was shiny and all white and ceramic, but I can't remember what it was a statue of. I think I looked at the bottom and saw it was $70. When I turned around and looked back to the table, everything had been packed away except for three Yinepu figurines, and they were actually Yinepu and not a mouse head. I thought I should buy them since they were all alone on the table and it must be fate, but then she packed them away too. After everything was packed, a young woman my age came out and started taking apart the booth and making the ground look like nobody had ever been there. We started talking and she was annoyed because her partner hadn't shown up to help her fix the field the bazaar was in and it would take a few days. She mentioned they were still taking volunteers, so I said I would help the next time they were bringing new volunteers in. She showed me a few tricks, like how to mold the field to make it normal again. I remember seeing her bunching up dirt to make a path from one merchant to the next, and then scattering the dirt to make the field just grass again. When I got home I went to the website to sign up, and there were lots of warnings saying only to do it if you were in shape and could handle 100+ degree weather, which made me nervous but I signed up anyway.
