What Are The BEST Dream Controll Techniques For Teloportation Or Changing The Dream Scene?

ive been having trouble with dream spinning as a teleportation technique, i closed my eyes, spin, and imagine the place i want to be, but it hasnt worked so far (ive only tried it once)

Are you meant to keep your eyes open while spinning?

and what are some other usfull techniques for getting to new dream scenes and creating new dream characters?

      Please Reply, thanks.

Diving thru mirrors, thinking of a location you want to be at when you open doors. creating a portal, Summoning objects that may help you to teleport. The list goes on and on. As for the spinning technique, i never really tried, or needed to use it. But falling backwards is a great way to exit a location. But be careful, that often causes false awakenings. As for creating dream characters, try and think of what you want them to like, then yell out for them to appear. Goodluck, and happy dreaming!!!

Closing your eyes almost always wakes you up, so that's not recommended. Spinning wakes you up half the time, teleports you the other half, so do at your own risk. All advice from dreamprofesser is great, just find the one that works for you. Happy dreams

The only time I have succeeded in changing my dream scene was walking through a wall. I told myself "On the other side of this wall is K's house" and stepped through it like Neo in the mirror in the matrix. It worked. Just a suggestion I'm going to have to try the mirror thing for sure! I have done spinning, but instead of changing the scene, it ended up bringing a dream character from the room I was imagining into the room I was stuck in. I think different things work for different people. I spun with my eyes closed, I personally didn't wake up, but it still didn't work either, lol. I'd say, if spinning didn't work for you the first time, try something else. Even write down a list of ways to change the dream scape, and look at it a few times before bed so it's in your memory. Then when your lucid and one thing doesn't work, you'll have a whole list of back up options to try

Some more I can think of that I've done in non-lucids, try to draw a door with your finger or rip a hole in the dream.

one thing ive found to work is imagining where i want to be, focusing on as much detail of the desired location, then truly believeing that when i turn around il be there, this has worked for me pretty much every time ive tried. turning around doesn't have to be the transition point either opening a door, or creating a portal etc any thing along those lines is fine as long as you visualize clearly where you want to go and truly believe that the transitioning point will take you there... have fun

The spinning technique also doen't work for me for telertation, only for stabilisation. I usually walk through a mirror, or I close my eyes and concenrate on the place where I want to get and usually when I open my eyes, I'm there... also walking through doors, walls etc. is possible you just must have a strong will and tell yourself "when I wak through this door, there IS gonna be the place I want to get to"..

I have never thought to do that! I'm going to try that next time I'm lucid I usually try to change things myself, and it never works how I want it to. If I could just ask the dream to change stuff that would be sooo much easier, lol.

Dreamers seem to resist the idea for some reason (why ever why? Maybe it seems a bit like cheating). I don't see any point imposing rules on yourself when you worked so hard to induce your lucid dream. And it really does work a charm, often with more unexpected creativity than if you made the changes yourself, consciously.

I use a few different techniques. Sometimes I walk through mirrors, sometimes open hatches in walls or turn around a wall like it's leading to a secret passage. Mostly, I use my hands to open a portal.

If you watch or read sci-fi or fantasy, use something that you have read about or seen in a movie. If it's something you're familiar with and have visualized often, it will feel natural in your dreams.

Remember....thinking of the location where you want to end up is what is most important. Otherwise, the mind will lead you back to square one.

Dreams are meant to be used to create ideas. And hopefully, plant the seed of this idea, to another. Which will help build, a very powerful nation.

At first i did teleportation with eye closing for a second, but if you keep your eyes closed for too long then it can end with waking up... Since then when i want to get to somewhere else i just enter a door and imagine the place where i want to be, to the other side of the door.

I didn't teleport since some time now, so i don't know a good technique for that... but i'll stop using the eye closing one.

Portal gun. Get in a car and drive. Flying is good also. Imagine something else behind a door, I looked through the keyhole and imagine whats there. After opening the door I see what I wanted. I did it once I think my DG told me.

agreed man, you need to have a clear set idea of where you want to go, otherwise the dream wont hold where you want it, if you start thinking of different places while trying to reach one you wont end up where you plan to go. ive found focus key

when you say Imagining as much detail as possible, do you mean like, you senses (what it sounds like, feels like, looks like)? like what do you try to imagine when your trying to get there?

That's exactly it. Or just concentrate on things that have a strong association with that place.

Generally speaking, there are two ways to teleport. Spinning falls into the first category, which is basically tearing down the current dream scene and rebuilding a new one. Everything requires your attention to exist in dreams, so spinning disorients you enough so that you can't focus on your surroundings, weakening them. Once you begin to see your desired location, slow your spin until you can stabilize the new location. There are many ways you can accomplish this besides spinning, but the inherent problem is stability. Using this method, you always run the risk of destabilizing the dream to the point where you wake up.

The other general method is some sort of portal, be it an actual glowy portal or a mirror or water or whatever. The dream stays stable, but the problem with this technique is that it's difficult to control where the portal goes. Whatever type of portal you do use, I'd suggest coming up with a way to individualize your portals. Come up with something that you can do to link it to your destination. In theory, you could create a gate system something like on the Stargate television series, but it needn't be that complex. But I would definitely suggest prepping your portals in some manner before use. This will reduce the random destinations and give you a little more control.

Portals do sound super cool haha.
So far the methods that have worked for me:
-Opening a door while thinking of where I want to be.
-Spinning while telling my self out loud where I want to be.
      Keep dreaming.
