Yea, back when I started all this, I put in an immense amount of effort. And it was because I was so highly motivated. |

A DILD is a Dream Initiated Lucid Dream. |

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

Yes, twice. First time, I was licking some attractive girl's tongue on an airplane, then I teleported to a parking garage and said, "Hey, I'm dreaming" with absolutely no prompting. I didn't even need to RC, I just stabilized and flew around for a few minutes before making myself wake up (at the time, I didn't know lucid dreams could last for what feels like half and hour). I forget the second time, but it definitely happened. |

Yup, yup! That is BASICALLY the only type of LD I get. |

Nope not yet. I've been trying for about 2 months to experience different types of dreams and have not been able to. Not sure if it's because maybe I have to do more research and practice more or if it's my Seroquil dosage I take to get to sleep because of my insomnia. |
|
All my LDs except one were DILDs. |

Killing threads since 2002
Of course, mostly beause thats the way I LD. |
|
Yep, that's the only type of LD I can seem to induce. |
|
Lolwut.
All except possibly one. They're so simple, not necessarily easy, but simple. Once you've had a couple DILDs, it's easy to get more, because you know you can. |
|
That's what I always say! |

This is mainly (exclusively?) how I become lucid; it's quite random, and it can happen once every day for a few days, or not happen (at least as far as I recall) for a few weeks. |
|
Yes, its the only type of LD I have. |

I had a nightmare when I was little and a rat bit my finger. I had a feeling that I could wake up when I wanted to end the dream, but I stayed asleep for about 30more. That's the earliest DILD I can remember, but I may have had another before then (But can't recall). I've had 2 others where that was the case. I knew I could wake up, but usually stay asleep, then wake up soon after |

Dreams Recalled since 10-31-09: 776
Best Recall in One Night: 8 (12-25-10).
DILDs: 8 (2-26-11); MILDs: 4 (7-28-10)
Goal: Play Calvinball [ ]
My first DILD: I was sitting on the toilet with my headset on listening to "Ain't no rest for the wicked" on my mp3 player. I look down and I see that the PINK jack is plugged in. When I know perfectly well that Green = Headphone and Pink = Microphone! So I then stand up, rub my hands together and run out the front door! |
|
Goals:
Consistently for two weeks recall at least one dream per night [ ]
Yes, definitely. Usually through random spurts of awareness during a dream. |
|
To truly know someone is to have seen through their eyes while they were dreaming.
PM me if you want to get acquainted. Looks like adoption's not an option.
I think your Research survey is going to be a little biased being posted on a Lucidity forum. . . |
