Chamomile, and Matcha. |
My favorite two are black tea from the Yunnan region of China, and jasmine green tea (also from China). Adagio's Yunnan Gold is probably my favorite variety, and Jasmine Yin Hao (also Adagio) is my favorite green. |

Here's what I do: |
I fill my heart with fire, with passion, passion for what makes me nostalgic. A unique perspective fuels my fire, makes me discover new passions, more nostalgia. I love it.

I'm not exactly a tea-connoisseur as you lot appear to be, but I will throw in saying that I love Rooibos Tea! |
chai, black, green, rooibos. i like chamomile, earl grey, peppermint etc |
I enjoy a hot cup of chamomile tea for gloomy weather, when I don't feel good, or to help me fall asleep BUT my favorite tea that I can drink all day everyday is the Strawberry Paraiso, iced, with german rock sugar from TEAVANNA xD Man I could really go for that right now! |
Do you really think the rock sugar makes a difference? I've heard of quite a few people using it now and everyone seems to think it's quite good. I never drink sugar in my tea (tea is usually quite sweet already, if it's not than it shouldn't be sweetened is my philosophy ) |
I'm a big tea drinker - my house is full of green/herbal teas. |
I really do because when I would get the regular sugar they would need to put a TON to get just a hint of sweetness, but now that I get the german rock sugar it taste sweeter without using as much xD Some teas I prefer with no sugar but most are too bitter for me. I see you are located in Ireland how awesome my goodness I would do anything to live in a place that is always gloomy and cold (FAV weather of all time). Where I live its sunny 365 days a year and SUPER hot..... |
I'm about to have some mugwort tea before bed. |
Might the foul tea you experienced have been wormwood, rather than mugwort? They are closely related, and both have traditionally been used to aid dreaming. But whereas mugwort normally has a fairly subtle taste, wormwood tastes like it was expelled from hell on grounds of excessive cruelty. |
So ... is this the real universe, or is it just a preliminary study?
Same goes for valerian tea and horse chestnut tea, they both taste vile. It's a shame because they both supposedly enhance dreams as well. |
Hmm, I'm pretty sure it was mugwort... But I remember we didn't have a tea strainer, so we just put the loose herbs straight into the cup and added boiling water. It was overwhelmingly strong, I'm sure any tea would have tasted bad at that strength. |
Straight up head to head between chamomile and green with jasmine. |

Recently had honeybush vanilla and it was amazing. The smell literally makes you happy and the taste is wonderful. I may be a bit of a vanilla nut, but even brewed weak it's quite delicious. I'm also always a fan of chai when I'm relaxing. |

I do look forward to trying Kratom tea and Dream Herb tea (yes sometimes I use ethnobotanicals like drugs..) |

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
If by "Dream Herb tea" you are referring to Calea Zaccatechichi, then be forewarned: it tastes so bitter, that all happiness will be drained away from you, sip by sip, and it will change your view on life, the universe, and everything. |
So ... is this the real universe, or is it just a preliminary study?
Green tea, maple tea and chamomile tea. |
Calea doesn't taste that bad if you have it fresh. Grow your own plants everyone! So rewarding! |
Rooibos with sweetened milk or creamer, fruity chamomile with agave, iced chai's, lavender and hibiscus, peppermint, and lapsang souchong, iced orange pekoe, milky matcha, and nutty mate's. I would like to try honey bush, lemongrass, and darjeeling. |
Peppermint or chamomile |
