+ trying out a chair in a furniture store. Enter store, wife sits in chair in the corner by the door, someone says "oh you got the best chair in the house". I'm looking at a recliner, I'm asking it it's a "zero gravity" recliner, one that lets you lean back so far that you're completely balanced (IWL family member's house said their recliner was like this 2 days ago). I'm trying it out doesn't quite completely balance. Looking at the mechanism underneath trying to see how it configures, there is a single wooden shaft with bulbous ends, and two rows of sockets on either side, all made of a light colored wood, you can move each end of the shaft into the various sockets to configure the chair. I have a small glass of an orange drink with me and I set it on the floor being careful to put it so that nobody will knock it over but I think the store guy will get upset with me so I figure I'll just drink it so it won't spill.

+ in the shade at the beach on a sloping sandy hill underneath trees setting up my blanket, there are some people down at the bottom of the hill, there's won't be many people here because it's the time of the year where this part of the beach is in the shade. Not an ocean beach, lake. Down on one side of the hill there's something going on with some people.

+ Sitting at a table in a Chinese restaurant I overhear someone ordering and the waiter says "no fried rice" I say "WHAT!? THERE's NO FRIED RICE?! It takes like 5 minutes to make! I could make it myself!" I think about ordering one of the other kinds of rice (3 other choices). some people next to me finish and leave, we exchange some words

+ standing in some room holding a strange long weapon, I think it's a hauberk, I examine the little blade at the top that is on a mechanism like a tree pruning pole, it's very sharp, some people come to discuss it, I say I think it's a hauberk, and yes it's sharp, I turn it around and there's a wicked looking sharp spear at the bottom of the shaft. It's a nasty looking weapon. There are some small wooden shields attached near the top.

+ a young boy changes and walks by with his robe opened, I flip it closed to cover his "stuff" and wonder what my wife (standing next to me) will think of me doing that
