Lucid Dreams
I was having some non lucid dream that I can no longer recall all that well that involved me walking home from school. The dream may have been along the lines of an anxiety dream because I was counting on a friend to get my backpack for me; I had left my back pack at the tech school. So I was walking home and taking a rather strange route, past the large blue factory near the edge of my town. There is a path that runs by it in RL, but in the dream, the path was broken, there were pits and valleys. It looked as though some construction work was being done on the factory. I also took note that there were a large amount of gardening supplies, there were some plants in trays and saplings that looked as though they were ready to be planted. Perhaps the factory was looking to be environmentally friendly. I try to get through this part with out stepping on any flowers. I get back on the path and it normals out a bit. I get to the end, where my subdivision would start, but this does not look like my subdivision at all. I may also note the seasonal difference. In my home state it is winter, but in this dream it was summer. The subdivision I was in looked something like mine, but the layout appeared different. I get lucid here, for no reason at all!. For a moment I was excited. In getting lucid I had just completed my goal of 8 lucid dreams this month. (And in the 11th hour too.) But here we are. I took a right off the path and began walking down the street. I rubbed my hands together and said to myself "stabilize dream." I tried to execute some voice commands, but they didn't work. My voice sounded rather strange too, like that clip of the "only thing we have to fear is fear itself speech." I didn't care. Also, I felt like I was wearing a cloak. I caught glimpses of a hood in my peripheral vision and had long black sleeves on. I also took note of one thing that I have never heard before in a dream; birdsong. And it was beautiful. I got to the end of the street and arrived into some kind of cul-de-sac. I felt a strong wind blow in out of the forest in front of me. And an even stronger gale blow from behind. After a moment, I realized that what I was experiencing was not wind, but rather gravitational shifts. I then had a gravitational shift that pushed me downwards. I was pinned to the ground and unable to move. And I came up with a rather... Interesting means of trying to get the gravity back to normal. I held my hands behind my back and manifested a headset microphone. I put it onto my head and asked whoever was on the other end to please lower the gravity to 10% of what it was. For a moment, I was able to stagger to my feet. But another wave of gravity slammed me back into the pavement. This actually felt somewhat painful. I felt as though I was being dragged backwards along the pavement. Also, with all this going on, it was difficult to hang on to the idea of lucidity. I went on the headset again, and asked whoever was there to please make the gravity 1% of what it was. One more, I was able to get to my feet for a second. Then a gravity wave flew past me and tore the headset off of my head. It flew in front of me then looped around behind my head and flew off into the sky. The gravity slammed me back into the ground. I was laying on my back now, looking up. I saw there was a dark patch in the sky where the moon was supposed to be, but it (now this is the strange part.) The moon looked as though it had been carved into shapes. I can recall the shape very clearly, there were three feline forms, though they looked to be standing on their back legs. They all had long hair as if they were human girls and had taken fighting poses. I could tell it had a sort of anime styling to the outline. "Okay, the moon has three cats." Gravity returned to normal and the design in the sky faded. I got the feeling that whatever had shifted gravity like that was trying to get that message across. Now they are done, and I am free to experience my dream as I wish. I walk back up the street I came about two houses, then make a right down another street. I am stabilizing as I go, paying attention to how my feet feel as they hit the sidewalk. Am I wearing shoes? socks? I can't recall now. I can't help but feel that I am alone, there are no other dream characters. Just as I do, I hear a man's voice. "Hey! Hey you!" About two houses away, a man is stepping outside. Then, across the street, another two houses away a group of three kids come outside, along with what looks like their nanny. I continue walking and go past the man. I look at him and think "he's a dream character, just a fragment of my own subconscious, not a real person." And after I thought that to myself, I got really really lucid. I thought about the "5 layers of a lucid dream and thought about going to layer 4. Maybe I'm already at layer 4, I just haven't made any changes yet. "You guys are dream characters and I am your dreamer!" The man and the nanny gave me these really kind looks and they nodded. The kids jumped up and down with excitement. They ran over to me and asked me if I wanted to play [some game]. "No, you know what, I have a better idea!" The kids look a little confused. "I am going to teach you guys how to fly." The kids look very confused. I kneel down on their level. "You need to focus the energy in your own body, your chi." I demonstrate by doing my old flying method (I guess that's not fire, but chi.) and lift off, thrusting up with these cyan-ish flames. I start to slowly rise up above them, and the kids follow. The three kids instantly seem to get it, one kid had green flames, another orange, and another, purple. I note that the sun has set and it is now nighttime. A fourth kid comes outside and asks if he can fly with us. "Sure, just focus your chi!" He rockets up on red flames and joins us. We are not flying very high or very fast, but that matters not. This is still the most fun I've had in a lucid dream, ever! The colors of everyone's different chi against the night were just beautiful. I sense that I am losing the dream. I look to the cluster of first-time fliers. For a moment, I thought that they were other dreamers and not dream characters. "Now, look, I'll be back." I lose the dream. I am in a black void for a second and see myself. I then wake up. Well that's it, no TOTM this month. God dang it. Who cares, teaching dream characters to fly is much more fun than asking them what they are doing different this year anyway. So that's it, got in my 8 LDs. Can't wait for February's TOTMs. I also thought of a good one on my own. I want to try and listen to music in a dream and see what it sounds like.

I am in my neighborhood with S and A. There is some kind of war going on and we know that our area of the country is not very well defended, and that whoever we are at war with is killing civilians, so there is a good chance that if we see any enemy soldiers, they will try and kill us. I see an enemy plane fly over the subdivision, but it looks like its been shot down, and going to crash in the woods behind our sub. Ok, good. It stops right before hitting the ground and is able to hover about three stories above the ground. There is a large turret with a machine gun on under the plane, and the plane is going down the street very slowly, systematically shooting into every house killing the people inside. Are there any weapons around? No. Are there any cars? Can we try and drive away? No. Well, I think to myself that my house has an in ground basement. Maybe if we hide in the bathroom (that is pretty deep into the ground) the enemy plane won't get to us. But the enemy plane breaks its systematic route and flies straight over, following and targeting my friends and I directly. I just think to run, but of course when you try to run from something like this in a dream, you run at like 0.000000000001 miles/hour. No, I was running a pretty decent speed, but I still felt sluggish. I don't hear my friends but I know they're right behind me. I hear two bursts fire from the gun. Okay, they're dead. I'm trying to head down the hill behind my house, but I get shot in the back and wake up. After waking up, I thought about how with a dream like that, it would have been so easy to attain lucidity. I get a glass of water and go back to bed. I am in this post-apocalyptic type world. There are a number of partially destroyed buildings all around with a large crevasse running through the middle of town. The crevasse is filled with a cloud of pale orange gas that is supposedly poisonous. I hear someone scream, and see that a girl is falling into the crevasse, so I obviously want to go and rescue her. So I jump into the canyon after her. (Yeah, real bright idea.) We actually jumped/fell from opposite sides and the canyon was quite wide. But I was partially lucid, and I ignited flames out of my hands that allowed me to rocket down and catch up with her. But this wasn't like my fireball flying technique from before where there are little flames. I was blasting out an inferno behind me. So of course, I catch her and lift her out of the canyon. I switch the flames to come out of my feet and one hand. I am carrying this girl by the back of her shirt collar with one hand. (Probably not the best way to carry anyone, but too late to change that now.) I didn't even know who I was saving. Could've been my guide, could've just been just some random person. (And if it was my guide, Then it's safe to assume it was some kind of test. I am getting sick of these stupid tests already.) Well I am pulling up to the edge of the canyon ready to deposit her on the ledge and I get fully lucid. "Another Lucid Dream! Finally!" I land and let her down. I take a moment to tell myself that I am dreaming and rub my hands together stabilizing the dream some. And this time I actually recall my dream goal correctly, to ask a dream character for there new years' resolution. Now whoever I had saved was wearing a big fur coat and when I deposited her on the ground, she just stayed laying down. I went over and flipped up the hood of the coat to see that whoever this was had up'n vanished. I got confused for a moment, and thought I sensed a presence of someone on top of one of the burnt-out buildings. I looked, but there was just a blurry outline of someone who had been there that quickly faded into the yellow sky. The dream's clarity dropped like a brick and I lost lucidity. I picked out some dream character, a tall male wearing a jester hat and for some reason identified him as some agent of evil working for a bad guy. (I don't know why.) And I said out loud. "Oh, great, not another one of his minions!" The dream scene changed from the destroyed city to my neighborhood. The jester hat guy started trying to shoot me with a blow dart tube. I began running (much faster than I could run from the hovering airplane thing) on a sidewalk with hopes of losing him. I was heading toward the old middle school in my sub, planning to run a route that would confuse my assailant. I managed to run for quite some time. The blow dart tube was not only ranged but deadly accurate. I would listen for the sound of him blowing, and a moment later duck or move my body in some way and avoid the dart. I managed to avoid getting hit until I got into the woods. Just when I thought I was going to get away from this guy, I noticed that that the path in the forest was converted into an obstacle course. I tried to run it, but ended up tripping and breaking my ankle. The guy caught up to me, looked at me laying on the ground for a moment, then stomped on my head, causing me to wake up.

I am at my friend K's house and having a nerf gun war with her and her brother when I randomly get lucid. I (forget to stabilize) and try to recall what my dream goal is. (My dream goal is to complete one of the TOTM). But I falsely recall my dream goal and it is to manifest a weapon. (How the heck do you do that?!) The house immediately becomes abandoned and quiet. I am the only one here, but I can sense another presence has taken over. One that feels friendly, and strangely feels like it is the TV, phone, and game console. It may have been some kind of artificially intelligent computer program entering the technology around the house. One more note, if I were to look out the windows it looks to be nighttime. So anyways, I have forgotten my dream goal and decide to try and manifest a weapon. I hold both my hands behind my back and say "Setweapon: Handgun" (I like how it sounds almost like computer syntax.) I pull my hands out and in my left hand is a small plastic handgun that fires a plastic dart. (Remember we had been having a nerf war) But I didn't care, I wasn't trying to do anything other than manifest the weapon, so a toy is fine. I swap it into my right hand, and I begin shooting the plastic gun to find out that it was reasonably accurate. I later held my hands behind my back and said the same thing again "Setweapon: Handgun" It was the exact same weapon. (Heck yeah, dual weild!) But with two guns I didn't have a free hand to reload so I put both hands behind my back and simply said "Reload". I pull them back around and they are both reloaded. I fire them again, and now I am getting really excited and start taking pot shots at paintings and things around the room. I repeat the reload command about half a dozen times, making quite a mess with darts in the process. DEILD/FA... or something. Point is, the dream sorta glitched. -Skip the first part of this dream new, Kinda personal- Or maybe it's just so inherently stupid that I just didn't feel like describing it. Did you think of that, subconscious?! Well I get away from the personal conflict. [This whole dream takes place at K's house once more, but this time it seems like the house is huge, the ceilings are really high and the doors are really wide. I want to go into the front room and try to manifest a real weapon. I think about the weapon that I got as a Christmas present from those dream characters. But I can't manifest it because I don't know what it's called. I suddenly realize what it is called (god help me how). That weapon I got all those lucid dreams back is called a terminal detonator. I manage to manifest it, but suddenly sense that I am losing the dream, I can feel my body in bed and have no time to stabilize, so I wake up.

I recall being on a rather large tropical island where I was inserted with either 20 or 24 other dream characters in random locations. Once more this was a sort of hunger games set up, but that we were allowed to work together and claim more than one victor. But then why were we all fighting? I don't know, dream logic I guess. Also, at this early point I guess I was mildly lucid because I had the sense that there were no repercussions if I died. I decided to try and find some friends to help me to survive longer, and that the best way to do that would be make my way along the beach. But (atleast on the side of the island where I spawned there was a large cliff (I'd guess maybe fifty feet) with the beach being on the bottom. I couldn't descend the cliff so I made my way through the jungle along the top of the cliff. I walked for some time, and found myself rather bored. I went off thinking about several subjects in my life. I noticed that the jungle looked somewhat trampled and beaten; there wasn't much undergrowth and there looked to be some trees that had been cut or trimmed to make walking through the jungle easier. I eventually found that the cliff was getting lower and therefore I was walking downhill toward the beach. When I got to the point where the jungle and the beach merged I found there to be a small bay connected to a river that ran inland to the island. There was an even smaller island on the river, and across the river was a very dense jungle with some huge trees. It was early dawn by this time (it had been nighttime when the dream began.) and the sun was rising. I heard a whistling noise and looked over my shoulder to see up near the top of the island's mountain a white firework shoot up and explode. This was apparently some kind of indication that the first kill had been scored (for the hunger games setup) I noticed a small rusted metal ship on the island in the river and decided to investigate it. The hull was rusted through in places and the ship's iron ribs were visible, so it was far from sea worthy. The entire island was overgrown with ferns and grasses. I made my way down the island (the mini island was long and thin in the river.) to the side more toward the large island. I found a concrete platform with a staircase that ran down under the island. Ever intrepid, I decided to descend into the complex. Badly drawn map of my route and the area until I went underground. Anyways, I get into the complex, and open a huge rusty iron door that looks like its a hundred years old. It was also at this point that I began to feel as if there was some presence with me in the room. If felt like the presence was the same as the one that was running the entire game. There is only one room. I pull one of those light switch chains that hangs from the ceiling and a couple of incandescent lights begrudgingly flicker on. The room is small with cinder-block walls and a large workbench. The workbench has a piece of wood above it with nails into it and all of the nails have tools. There is also a large bin of sheet metal nearby. I stop and think for a second how cool it would be to craft some armor and weapons for this hunger games setup. I decide to do so, but realize with just the metal, I won't be able to do very much. I also get the feeling that the presence believes that's cheating. The "presence" proceeds to spawn a stand behind me containing dozens of tiny drawers. Each one has different sizes and shapes of screws, nuts and bolts. Perfect, now I can craft my armor. I craft armor for both arms as well as a chestpeice of sorts. I may have also done armored shin boots, but I cannot remember. (The time spent crafting sort of skipped) The armor looks clean and professional but has something of a minimalist design, lacking a lot of detail. I don't care. I realize there is another door that runs deeper into the complex. I open it and find that it looks to be a janitor's closet. There is another door on the opposite side of the closet. I open it, and I am in what looks to be a clothing store, but in an eerily empty atmosphere. Nobody is here and the lights are flickering. I make my way into the corner of the store, and somewhat randomly become lucid. (Well I was semi lucid before, but here is where I became properly lucid.) I decide to make my way back to the surface. I think about my goal of asking a dream character what their new year's resolution is (also known as the Task of the Month for this month.) But first I need to find a dream character. After this, I do a nose pinch reality check just to double check that I am in fact lucid dreaming. I continue making my way back to the closet that leads to the way back, but am interrupted by waking up.

I was somewhat lucid, and I was practicing my maneuvering skills. I was in third person, but couldn't seem to control my perspective. But no matter, this allowed me to better see what I was doing and where I was. I was out over the ocean. There were these high tech towers with platforms out on the sides of them, set up in a long row. Supposedly this was some kind of course that was set up for lucid dreamers to practice their abilities. Beyond the towers were a couple of tropical islands about a mile away. So there, I was just jumping from tower to tower. I was doing very well with... this and sometimes was even able to skip a platform or two and glide past them. I get to the end of the course, and there is my dream-guide. I go back into first person mode. We sit on the last tower and start talking about... heck I don't recall now. (I woke up and wrote down not enough of the key points about this lucid dream at 2:00am by the light of my toy redstone lamp.) But the important part of our discussion was the part that I remembered. She started talking about teaching me "Jumping the Dream". (Is that the new Jumping the Shark?! I don't know. The dream is trying to make some bad joke here, but I don't get it.) I had two interpretations of that phrase. One was literal. Like what I had been just doing. Jumping in a dream. The other one was that it was shared dreaming, as in you were jumping to other people's dreams. Okay, I don't remember learning squat about "jumping the dream". So I told her that. And here's where the dream gets weird. After saying to her, "I don't recall learning this" she... er well she did something and I suddenly recalled two more lucid dreams. They felt like they were from the past two days. And here be the creepy part. When she helped me to remember them, It felt like she was the one who had done something to make me forget them. Forgotten Lucid #1: was where we had talked about "Jumping the Dream". The only imagery I can recall is sitting with her somewhere discussing just that. Forgotten Lucid #2: supposedly consisted of some kind of practice for "Jumping the dream" I can't recall any imagery. Hang on. Am I missing something? So you taught me how to "Jump the dream" whatever the heck that means. You spent three nights now where I was lucid dreaming and for the first two nights you bother explain and teach this stuff to me only to do some dream guide hocus pocus and make me forget the dreams, then on the third night remind me of these other lucid dreams that I may or may not have actually had, and make me think that you taught me about something that I have no idea what it is. What the heck?
Fragment: City Map Somebody was showing me a map of a city built on a couple of islands. They were in fact showing me two different versions that were a couple decades apart and showing me how the city had grown over the years. Late For Class,Forgotten PowerPoint,In my Underwear You know, I've gotten so attuned to the "typical" dreams of being late for class, forgetting homework, and being in those sorts of embarrassing situations, that I was legitimately surprised that I didn't get lucid here. I was running to get to my social studies class, and the bell rang. It was just down the hall, and the teacher was standing outside the class, he just sort of gave me a scolding look and went into the classroom. For some reason, my walk was real clumsy, and I sort of staggered down the hallway to the classroom. When I got into the classroom, I noticed that I was hot. I had a jacket on over a hoodie and a t-shirt. I also had on two pairs of pants. I took off both the hoodie and the jacket. I then tried to take off one of the pairs of pants, but accidentally took off both and was in my underwear. The teacher facepalmed appropriately and everyone in the class was laughing at me. All of the lights were off and the projector was on (one of those digital projectors that can project a computer screen.) The teacher asked me if I had my PowerPoint ready. "What PowerPoint?! I don't know what your talking about." And he tells me that before break he assigned us a big project that we have to make a PowerPoint. He says I can turn it in tomorrow but if I don't I get no points in the gradebook. The dream ended with me putting my head down onto my desk thinking about how the heck I am supposed to do this project in one night. Lucid Dream #70: Good Practice This was an overall good lucid dream. I liked that it felt more stable than some of my previous lucid dreams. I feel like I just sort of get "plopped" into my school's gymnasium, and my mind was sort of blank. This was similar to the first time I was lucid dreaming, as I got to see the dream begin. So this might have been as I was entering REM sleep. The gym was ultimately empty, and it actually seemed different than my schools gymnasium, but it sort of had the feel of my school. I stabilized the dream by rubbing my hands together and decided to try out some dream control. And let me just say that this dream felt way more vivid and stable than my last few lucid dreams. I had no real plans, so I just wanted to have fun. I jumped, and managed to go fifteen or twenty feet into the air. But I wanted to go higher, so I focused on the metal support beams in the roof of the gym. From there, I was able to start flying in a very slow controlled way and began soaring around the gym. A bunch of other dream characters began filtering in, but none of them familiar. There was this one boy who was also able to jump relativily high, but not fly as I was. But he kept on jumping up in-front of me, and I would hit him. It almost seemed like he was doing this on purpose. Each time I hit him, I would sort of have to hold him and lower him back to the ground slowly. I apologized and let him continue. But this was getting annoying. We eventually decided to each stick to our own sides of the gym for our activities. I eventually stopped flying and grabbed onto one of the metal support beams. There was enough room for me to stand on a horizontal beam and hold onto a vertical beam with one of my hands. Viewing the gymnasium from the roof was a rather odd experience. There was this floating platform that came into the gym with this girl who was trying to look all attractive for me. But for whatever reason I thought to myself that I didn't want to try sexy things with dream characters right now. I opened a telepathic communication with her and told her that perhaps in a future lucid dream she could visit me again. But for now, no. After that, I took off flying again, did one more circle around the gymnasium. As I started to lose the dream, I was taken into a third person view of myself flying. The view was from behind and above me, and I was flying forward, kindof like superman. But I had a long black cape and hood on, and had no way of getting a look at my dreaming self. Side note: I've been trying to figure out what my "dream self" looks like for some artwork I've been planning on doing. Black cloak and hood is a start.

Lucid fragment. I know that I had a lucid dream, but I have no idea what happened in it. All I can rember was that is boasted some similarities to my last two lucid dreams... just with the general feel of the dreams. Thieving levels 1 and 2 I had been taken by some thieving group that had to steal these ancient relics that were owned by different people. (And of course, they want me to do the dirty work and actually steal each relic.) Each one was with a different person at a different location and each location was going to be more difficult to steal from than the last. I have no idea how many of these there are in total. Location one felt like my own neighborhood by the design and spacing of the houses and streets. The other thieves gave to me this Bluetooth type headset so that they could communicate with me. The first house we were going to steal from, we were going to steal from it in broad daylight while the residents were home. (Yea real bright idea, thieves.) To do this, I had to quietly open a side door on their garage and then open a trapdoor on the floor of their garage. From there, I had to crawl through a dirt ventilation shaft (if that makes any sense) about two stories underground into this dungeon like basement that they had. The basement was filled to the top with boxes of stuff, and was difficult to navigate, but I eventually found the relic that I was looking for. It just looked like a golden cube about two inches on edge with a sort of circuit board pattern to it. As I was holding it, I paid attention to the activities going on upstairs. I could hear dishes clanking and people talking. I thought that it might be dinnertime in this household. I crawled back out of the dirt vent and up through the garage out of the house. The second relic was stored in the barn of a paranoid middle-aged farmer. The farm was actually behind these rows of houses in a different subdivision in a different area. The area had a sort of arid feel to it, as though we were in a hot, dry climate. The other thieves had a plan that I would look like an innocent jogger who would sneak into his barn, grab the relic, then run away. I came jogging along the trail that led by his barn. There were a couple of large pastures for cows and horses. The barn itself, well it didn't look like a classic barn being panted red and white. This one was bare wood, and had a low slanted roof. I took two quick looks in either direction to make sure nobody was coming. Then went off the trail, through one of the cow pastures into the barn. When I got inside, I was met with a surprise, there were cowbells hanging from strings everywhere. Through my headset the other thieves told me that the farmer would hear these if I accidentally hit them. I make my way through the barn and up to the second level. I find the relic on a pile of hay and get ready to make my way back when I accidentally trip one of the cowbells. I hear the door of the farmhouse open. Crap. I just say screw it and run out to the field, tripping a bunch more cowbells as I get out of the barn. He hasn't seen me yet. I get back to the path and try to pull the whole "harmless jogger" routine to trick the farmer. The thieves explain to me that once I get off his property, I'm safe, and he's not allowed to come after me anymore. A shogun blast comes from behind and destroys a fencepost. The farmer grabs me. I'm caught, and the farmer takes his relic back. The dream had two endings somehow. Ending #1. After the farmer caught me he just got really angry and began yelling at me. There wasn't really much else he could do besides scold me for trying to steal his relic. Ending #2. The farmer had some tradition that every time someone tried to steal from him, they would have to fight his three sons. I had to face them in this small coliseum like location made out of scrap wood and metal with dozens of other farmers watching. I was fighting his sons, mostly kicking them to keep them away.

Fragment Something to do with superman fighting a number of Tanks in a downtown/city area. Lucid Dreams I count these as two lucid dreams since in some respects they were separate dreams and I actually got lucid, lost it, then got lucid again. I was at some apartment with S. Supposedly this was in the near future where we had graduated high school and started living on our own. (I'm graduating this spring.) I can remember getting lucid through the old nose pinch reality check, stabilizing the dream a little, telling S that he was a dream character. It was at that point that I picked up a ball that was lying around the room. I began to use dream control to do this trick where I would change the color of the ball by closing it in my hands, looking away, then opening my hands and the ball would be a different color. The other dream characters didn't really seem to care, and for some reason I wanted to entertain them. I thought about a daydream that I'd had yesterday where I picked up a handful of dirt and closed my hand, when I opened it a bunch of butterflies flew out. I wanted to try the same trick with this ball, it was the perfect sort of thing to try in a lucid dream. I closed my hands around the ball and thought about what would happen when I opened them. I thought I felt something crawling on my hand. It was ready I opened it. No fantastic butterflies. All I managed to do was change the ball from plastic into putty. I wasn't disappointed however and began experimenting with the putty; how it felt and looked in the dream world. I could tell I was losing the dream and going to wake up. False awakening, I'm in my own basement. It looks really realistic, but I decide to do a reality check because this looks like a false awakening. I do the nose pinch again, but for some reason I did it for a really long time, like 10 or 15 seconds. Okay, I'm still dreaming. I decide I want to go outside and practice some more advanced dream control. (I don't get why I didn't just teleport by dream spinning, I seem to forget that I can do that...) That said I begin making my way upstairs and paying attention to the fact that this dream, unlike the apartment dream beforehand seemed to be much more vivid. I was excited by how I could make out the patterns on the wood paneling we have in our basement. I get upstairs, and decide to summon some dream characters, or maybe my dream guide for help. I think that the best way to summon someone would be to call them on the phone. I look at the phone list on the refrigerator and all of my waking life friends are there. I can't seem to find any unusual numbers that I would want to call, so I decide to go outside. S is back and he has pulled up in his car. I decide to get in with him and a bunch of random DCs. We all pile into the back of his car and drive off. After a minute I realize that this was a stupid idea and now I'm stuck in this car, and can't really move, and I'm going to lose the dream. I wake up.

Alien invasion dream (in fragments) I looked outside and noticed dozens of aircraft moving around in seemingly random directions in the sky. A few moments later they all stopped and had arranged themselves in a perfect grid. I thought to go get my camera, but realized that if I did, they would vanish. I decided rather to just watch and see what happened next. C was in my garage, working. She told me that she had sensed that this was happening and had prepared. She had started building some weapon that would be the only thing that was effective against the aliens. She told me that she needed me to run to the hardware store before the aliens landed and get her a metal pipe: any size, any length. I was looking online at the pictures and news coverage of the aliens. One of them showed the aliens in a grid like I had seen earlier. The other one showed a picture of the alien ships. They looked something like this. [/COLOR] Badly drawn alien ship. The brown/tan parts were not wood, but rather metal painted in that color. Fragment: Lucid Driving My dad had just crashed his car into the road. I told him it was OK because I was actually just lucid dreaming. I immediately woke up. Fragment: False Awakening I false awoke into my room, got up, and logged onto this website in order to begin my DJing.

I can't recall the entire dream, but the dream entailed me going to progressively higher cliffs around the world and jumping off of them, because I had some insane power to fall from any height and survive. But I began to get the acing feeling that cliffs were a dream sign... so I must be dreaming right? When I thought of that, I was at the last cliff. This cliff was made of a tan-colored rock and overlooked a tropical rainforest, with a handful of winding rivers going though it. I jumped off the cliff and started falling. But it was a really floaty sort of falling, I was probably only falling about 20 miles an hour. I actually became lucid while when I was about 2/3 of the way down the cliff. When I became lucid, Some form of dream control became activated, with or without my consent, converting the rainforest into this park area. All of the trees in that area went away, and a grid of concrete pathways spread out in all directions. They left cells, about a hundred feet on edge filled in with grass. I was able to make trees grow in the cells with dream control. I thought It would be cool to fill the cells with palm trees, but when I tried to do so, trees of every variety, including palm trees filled the cells. I couldn't really care that my control over trees was as accurate as I wanted. I finally hit the ground and walked along some of the paths. Eventually, I got to the edge of the pathways where they met with what remained of the rainforest. I noticed there were a couple of houses, one of them I recognized as S's house. His mom and dad came outside. (If I wasn't already lucid, this would have been a dead giveaway that I was dreaming, because S's parents are divorced.) And for whatever reason, I told them I wanted to play hide and seek with them. I told them that I would hide and they would try to find me. They covered their eyes and started counting. I ran around to the back of their house where I planned to either fly up high somewhere they could never look or turn invisible. I realized I have no idea how to turn myself invisible. So I used my focus flying technique to fly up onto the roof of their garage, where a large tree that isn't there in RL had grown branches over the roof, and this gave me enough cover to hide from them. I just hovered there for a minute between the roof of the garage and the tree, as the dream characters tried to find me. They walked around the house at-least twice. Eventually I flew down and revealed to them that this was in fact my dream, and that I had used my flying powers to hide from them. (I'm not entirely sure why I wanted to play hide and seek with dream characters at the time, but looking back, it was pretty funny.) S's "mom" was very impressed and excited to be a part of this dream, but S's "dad" was very angry that I had "cheated" by being lucid. (Ugg crap here we go again!) His face and body began to distort in a freakish way. His head grew huge and his body became very small and fat. His skin was as red as a cherry and he was yelling obscenities at me. Let me just say that seeing something like that "realistically" is actually quite scary. "Stop!" I yelled. "This is my dream, and I am in full control!" But it didn't work and I woke up.

I rewrote large parts of this Dream Journal Entry, because the original one seemed a bit flakey. (Most likely because I wrote the original Now, I'm able to properly explain what happened. Where things get Weird I was in my front yard, and lucid when two dream characters show up. (They show up in this really cool black car nonetheless) I recognize them as Marcus and this other character that I recently identified and named Jack. It was at this point that for some reason, I thought of the basic TOTM for this month. To ask a dream character for a present and see what you get. I never said anything out-loud about the TOTM, but I thought about it. I think Jack is the one who gets out of the car and offers me a small grey gun that he says Marcus invented. (And this is where I think I may have just completed the TOTM.) He gives a short speech about how this is the "next step in personal defense" and asks me to try the weapon out. The weapon looks and feels like the sticky detonator from Halo 4. It has a smooth look to it. I fire it at a tree, and a large cylindrical grenade sticks to the side of the tree. I pull a trigger, and a number of small fan shaped grenades release from the large one and stick all over the place. Okay, that's a cool feature, but I can't figure out how to make the grenades detonate. Don't know if this is my own lack of knowledge or a malfunction with the weapon. I false awaken in my own house to find that I have woken up very late on a Saturday morning. Makes sense why I would lucid, so I go downstairs, and go on this site and begin writing a DJ entry for this dream. I then, in my false awakening, go back upstairs and "WILD" back into a non-lucid dream. I go back into a dream where my lucidity seems very unstable, an anxiety dream about school where I'm stranded there and I need to ride home. Jack shows up again. And let the real weirdness begin. Jack attempts to convince me that I'm not dreaming. He tells me that my "Guides" (Meaning that he is a guide too now I guess.) are here to help me in waking life. He says I won't be going home for awhile. Telling me that this is waking life, given my groggy lucidity left me confused. We are walking out of the school. I was at a point where I thought this was RL, and I told him I needed to go get my backpack. He then proceeded to tell me that he was carrying my backpack over his own, took it off and gave it to me. He told me that was in fact a basic test to make sure I wouldn't lose it because of that. So I guess I passed. We get to the street out front of the school, and we try to get into this other vehicle that's like this very strange tractor type thing. Another detail that I couldn't help but notice, but there was a street named after Jonathan, my dream "Nemesis". All my regular dream characters, save for the evil one. (Manei, Marcus, and David) started to surround the tractor and get out. There were two more, a younger version of Lia who looked to be about 10, and a younger boy who was probably 6. We get out and we all start to get into this really nice black sport's car. (Is that like my dream character's only way to get around.) I'll really have to draw these cars that I keep seeing. But we have seven people trying to get into this car. I have to sit in the middle of the back. And I don't know where we intend to go. I'm getting into the back of the car with all these dream characters, and I woke up into my bed. At my Service I cannot believe I forgot about this dream. I was in my school's gymnasium. There were a bunch of people running around and playing with the various gym equipment like dodge-balls and badminton rackets. Manei approaches me and tells me that I am dreaming. "Oh... of course I am..." I do a nose pinch reality check just to be sure. I realize that I am dreaming, but I just felt really lucid. I probably got more lucid in this dream than I did in any lucid dream I've had in a long time. I could really feel the dream world around me. I even thought to myself that my real body is back in bed and this is all a dream, so this was a solid layer 3 dream. (For those of you who are farmiliar with receejones87's layers of LDing) "Thanks for telling me." She bows "I am at your service." I think to myself for a second. Manei... my dream guide, at my service. Will she carry out any command I give her? "Jump up and down." She jumps up and down. Given my dreams take place at about 0.5G's, she is able to jump about her own body height. "Stop." She stops. "What's 7 times 4?" "28." Now time to really see how this works. I pick out one of the dream characters playing in the gym. Knowing he is just an aspect of me, I issue this command. "Go beat that kid up." She calmly walks over to the dream character, and stops in front of him. She then jumps into the air and spins around kicking the dude in the face. He falls over either dead or unconscious and is bleeding from his nose.
Fragments (Don't really care for 'em) I was climbing a water-slide made out of sand. I don't know how that works either. The water-slide was in the woods behind my neighborhood. My subdivision had been replaced with some sort of beach area. There was a river running where the road used to be. The beach had a lot of broken glass on it, but all of it had been eroded by the waves and made into round stones. (Y'know beach glass.) Different areas had different colors of beach grass. A dream character was explaining to me that the different colors can symbolize different things. I was in the hunger games universe. (Agian?! I don't even like the hunger games.) And there was this tradition that if you light a lot of candles the night before the tributes are picked, you won't get picked for your district. We had this big chandelier thing covered in lit candles so that I wouldn't be picked as tribute tomorrow. I can't remember how I got lucid, but I was in the baseball diamond at the front of my neighborhood. I think the house that was closest to it was a little odd. The other thing that I recall was that there were dark storm clouds overhead. S was there. He told me this was a shared dream. We decided we wanted to have a flying competition. I did my old method of flying that worked surprisingly. (Not focus flying.) I held out both of my hands and jets of fire formed in my hands. (Though it was a red fire, not a blue one.) S mimicked me. He held out his hands and started flying too. I was ascending slowly, but he was going even slower. Once he realized I was winning, he somehow changed the flames in his hand to a green color and started going about three times as fast, he passed me in altitude. I turned my flames green. I started moving up faster than him again, and started catching up. He started changing his flames slowly from green to blue to purple, and continued accelerating. I changed mine to purple and caught up with him. We were in the grey storm clouds now, but we still had a general idea of where the ground was. He was getting frustrated, and turned himself into a ball of purple fire. He began to loop around and head back toward the ground. I too turned myself into a ball of purple fire and looped toward the ground. We dived twoard the ground, and we both pulled up before hitting it, only to see that there were a pair of large trees blocking each of our paths. S hit his first, landing with his stomach and he slid down it sort of like when a cartoon character hits a glass wall. I was somehow able to phase through the tree I was about to hit. I had an FA from the shared dream. S was asleep in a sleeping bag on my bedroom floor. I was in my bed. I went to wake him up and ask him if he had the shared ream with me. He held out his phone and started snapping pictures of me. I tried to stop him, but he still took quite a few photos. He then actually got out of the sleeping bag, and was really angry. He was taking the photos because he had some app on his phone that would take famous scenes from movies and replace the faces of the characters with the faces of whoever you took pictures of. And all of mine looked really bad because I flinched away from the camera. The movie theme was star wars. I asked him about the shared dream and he said that he had experienced everything the same as me. He told me I won the flying completion because he didn't know how to phase through the tree. That day I asked S if he had recalled the other end of the dream. He said no.

Fragment: Football. I am playing football. (Strange b/c I don't even know the rules of football in RL.) We are about to score a touchdown when the other team starts cheating. I don't see how they are cheating at first, but then realize that some of the players on the other team are "football robots". Fragment: Random I am feeding ducks cheese bugles. (SERIOUSLY, BRAIN, WHAT THE HECK!?!?!!?) One of the ducks tries to fly away, but I think gets shot by a hunter. The other one starts barfing the cheese bugles back up next to me. They are much bigger and covered in ... duck spit? I don't want to eat them, even though the duck seems to be offering them to me. Lucid Nightmare: Dentist in math class I am in my math class. At least two other kids are talking about an assignment, and the teacher is pestering me about something. Eventually she stops and I get ready to sit down, but a dentist comes in and tells me I must have a dental operation. A large dentist chair complete with instruments appears at the front of the class. The dentist sort of forces me to lay down and leather restraints go onto my arms. The dentist explains that I must have my braces augmented then he will use a laser to kill germs on my teeth. We cut straight to the laser part. The laser comes down from the ceiling on this robotic arm. The projector is a chrome cone like device. (Another cool sci-fi design) The laser beam itself was actually a purple color. I get to somehow watch as the dentist uses the laser to clean cavities on the inside of my own mouth. But he seems to be making mistakes and having the laser hit my gums. This hurts. A lot. Eventually, he gets done with the laser. He says he is going to start pulling bad teeth out. He gets a rather intimidating set of pliers and pulls out one or two teeth. This hurts. Even more. He keeps pulling teeth out, and I can feel the inside of my mouth. I'm trying to figure out what teeth he's pulling. Okay, this has gone far enough. Somehow one of my hands gets free of the restraints and i do a nose plug RC. I'm lucid, but the dream is really unstable. Heck, I can feel my arm in two places at once, pinching my nose, and sitting by the side of my body under a blanket. Nevertheless, this dentist doesn't seem to like the fact I've become lucid. He begins to wake me up by casting a magical spell from his hand. I want him to stop (for obvious reasons), I feel for the tray by the side of my chair and grab a handful of dental tools. I'm ready to stab him when I wake up completely.

I was acting out a sequel to the movie "Battleship" (enh not a great movie, but the effects and action were pretty cool.) and I was commanding a ship to stop the aliens from bombing a coastal city. We only had four minutes to do it. We pulled into position and saw the alien ship. (Our ship was sailing parallel to the shore of a tropical-looking island. When I saw the alien ship, I recognized it as the last alien ship from the movie. (The one that projects the giant sheild.) I couldn't help but remark that the ship wasn't projecting a shield like in the movie, even though it had the shield projector panels out. We were still out of range, and one of my officers came up with an idea. She started launching small mines into the water. She told me to detonate them when they were directly behind the ship and they would thrust us forward. I had to get a handle on how long it took for the mines to be launched then drift to the back of our ship. I eventually found that launching them, counting to four, then detonating them was enough to thrust us forward. I lost my handle on the dream for a bit, and now we were in the town the aliens were about to bomb, trying to warn the citizens. I had become mildly lucid, clearly not enough to hunt down my guide or alter the plot of the dream, but the plot of the dream was pretty cool anyway. I can't even remember how I figured out the flying technique, but it was weird. I would have to hold my left hand out in front of me with my index and middle fingers raised. The idea was this was called focus flying, and it was one of the millions of ways lucid dreamers learn to fly. (Someone standing behind me told me that.) I lifted into the air, and quickly learned how to control myself. I continued with the dream plot by flying through the streets of the city, warning people to get inside because aliens were preparing to land we were going to fight them. I also remember a couple of my lieutenants (I was a ship commander) were there and they seemed both impressed and confused by the fact that I could fly. I eventually went inside the largest building in the town. (The town was mostly one and two story buildings built up by the beach. This was a large hotel, maybe 8 stories tall.) I flew inside, and found the building went pretty far underground. I was still focus flying, and I continued by warning people about the oncoming aliens. I told them to go to the lowest floor of this hotel. Oh yeah, all the dream characters were really confused as to how I was flying around with two fingers raised. I got outside and flew back to a group of my naval officers who were still standing in the middle of the street. They said that it was "too late" and we had failed, and used up our four minutes. The aliens had won they told me. I woke up. I was watching a 3d animated movie. It was one of those really cliche stories about the boy who sticks out like a sore thumb at school and always gets bulled and what not. The first scene I recall seeing was the group of bullies get onto the school bus at their stop. One of the bullies said "This is where we get on on, and this is where you get off!" And threw the main character kid off the bus. The bus drove off, and he ran after it. Somebody remarked that there was no way he was getting to school on time. Until now, I had been spectating. Now, the movie explained that the next character had to be an older kid who used to be bullied alot, but now had made the best of it and was doing better. I would have to help/guide this kid. So I was given a body. Then I realized I was in the same situation as the boy, late to his school and forced to run after him. ...this can't be right! I realized I needed to reality check. But for some reason, I couldn't think of an actual reality check, so I had to come up with one on the fly. I decided to punch something really hard, because if I'm dreaming, I'm actually just laying in bed, and there's no way I can feel pain from hitting the structure. I punch the side of a brick building, and it doesn't hurt. I just feel a little shock go up my arm, to let me know that the surface is solid. This also stabilized the dream some. The main character kid was still running to school, and I was quite a ways behind him. I held up my left hand again, with two fingers raised. I started running after him, and jumped. I landed with a hard impact on the ground. I jumped again. I sailed through the air for about 20 feet. I was catching up to him. I jumped onto a bench, ran across the seat, and jumped off the other end. I landed on the concrete, bent down, and focused my energy (as best I could) onto my fingers. Kaboom, I'm off and flying. Now the thing about focus flying, in both these dreams, Is you don't go much faster than 20 miles per hour. It seemed to be a very slow, controllable method of flying. But when I took off, the first thing I had to do was steer to avoid a rather large tree growing out of town square. I flew over the main character boy. His face looked like this. I saw the school coming in the distance. It looked like the school from my comic strip, in that it was tan colored and had broad windows. The group of bullies were in the school yard, and they also had that face when they saw me fly overhead and land inside a second story window. The director explained that it was OK that I hadn't helped the boy, because he wanted to establish that we were friends before he started having me help him. When I got inside, I the inside looked exactly like my high school. I decided to show off to my friends the flying technique. But first I had to use my reality check again, so I punched a cinder block wall inside the school and again, just a mild shock sensation to indicate that the wall was solid. I came over to the staircase. (At my HS, the cafeteria is sort of sunk into the floor.) and decided to use that as my launching pad. But the focus flying failed. Because I had such bad lucidity, I figured the reason my flying was failing was I wasn't dreaming anymore. This meant OH MY GOD! I'M AT SCHOOL CLASS STARTS IN FIVE MINUTES AND I DON'T HAVE MY BACKPACK! I decided to text my mom and ask her to bring my backpack to school. I recalled leaving it by the door. But I wanted to word my text in a funny way. So I turned on my phone and started texting her, but I couldn't think of a funny way to word my text. My phone was really low on battery and died. I woke up.

I knew titling this DJ entry as such would get a few people reading. I was walking down the street in an unidentified subdivision. It wasn't like my subdivision in the fact that the houses were only one story, instead of two-story. Also, the trees were very large and very old, unlike in my subdivision where the trees are still rather small/young. "Bohemian Raphsody" was playing in the background for some reason. But it wasn't for long when it got to the second line: "Is this just fantasy?" I became lucid. (Second in one night tonight.) Also, I've gotten lucid in some really weird ways in the three years I've been lucid dreaming, but this one takes the cake. I immediately felt a rush of power, an urge to control the dream. I looked to the sky and used... something similar to air bending to whip the clouds into a vortex. I then transported myself about a block away, outside of this beautiful Victorian styled brick mansion. I looked at the mansion, and I was still on my rush of power, I gestured up, and lifted the whole mansion causing one new floor to be added to the bottom. I thought I could do better. I gestured up again, and the framework for a large clock tower assembled on top of the mansion. I gestured up again. I lifted the mansion up another story or two, as well as completing the clock tower. I can do better. I Gestured up one final time, and the mansion transformed and then lifted and became an absolutely huge brick skyscraper, probably forty stories tall. I flew up into the air for a second to get a good view of my creation. I took note that there was a small, modern glass box, like a penthouse on top of the brick skyscraper. I gestured down and lowered the entire skyscraper into an empty lot, leaving only the glass penthouse. I then gestured up just at that and made it a really tall glass skyscraper. I then lowered that all the way down to nothing, then gestured up and created what looked like the dubai tower. I was going to do something with the new tower, but it was twisting and distorting in a strange way. I used a voice command to "lock" it, but when I did, I locked it twisted up. I used another command to unlock it. I then commanded that it return to its original shape. Then I used the "lock" command again. I was finally back in my own body. (I had been flying around outside my body.) I realized that the skyscraper I had created was actually only about ten stories tall. Also, it fell on its side, with the pointy end nearly hitting me, so yeah. I recalled some of my other dreams, where I used a computer hologram for some of more complex dream control. I commanded that one come up. It works, a large holographic OS comes up on my right hand. I'm able to scroll through it with my left. I decide to forget about manipulating buildings, and focus on things that are actually important. I asked myself out loud if there was an option in the holographic menu to summon my dream guide. "It's under the contacts tab!" Now the moment you've all been waiting for. The floating electrical baby head was above me. It didn't have eyes, and the head seemed to be hollow. The neck was cut off abruptly. It didn't frighten me because it didn't look like an actual baby head, but rather just a 3D computer graphic of one. And it had an orb inside of itself that caused electricity to arc out and hit the ground. I got some back-story into this dream character almost immediately. He was part of a collective group of dream aspects that work together to... play poker! I got to see images of him and several other very weird dream characters sitting around a bar and doing just that. ._. When the back story ended, it was nighttime, and we seemed to be in the same location. The FEBH it seems had made a fire. We were on a concrete terrace surrounded by railing. The terrace had a stairwell that led down into a rock garden area with a large dead tree. I wasn't by the fire at first, and I was still scrolling though the holographic menu. I was in the "contacts" list and I came across someone named "Bonya" I clicked on the menu, and up came some girl with braided hair and four eyes. Me:"Who's this?" FEBH:"Bonya, and dark projection of Lia. Manei" You know, my dream guide. Me:"So she's evil?" FEBH:"Whatta you think?! Of course she's evil!" Me:"Are you Glitch? Because if you are, I'd prefer you appear as a split ring design and not... this." (To explain that question, I wrote a lucid dream based story about myself, where I had an AI helping me that I called Glitch. His icon was a ring split in four places.) FEBH:"No." I walked down the stairwell and into the rock garden area. I thought I saw Lia Manei down there for a second, but when I got closer it turned out to just be a shadow on the rocks. I went back up to the FEBH, and sat by the fire he made. I started roasting a marshmallow. Me:"So who are you?" FEBH:"My name is ****" (I can't remember it. It might have been something comically normal like "phil") Me"Tell me about yourself." FEBH:"I don't know [Looks longingly into the fire and makes a sighing sound.] Poker is my life. Just little pink squares that... ace of spades; seven of hearts!" I looked at the marshmallow I was roasting and recalled that I don't like marshmallows in RL, and couldn't think what to do with it. I woke up.
