    1. Beginning of a journey + useless dream, and a tripping b4llz in lucid

      by , 08-20-2015 at 04:23 PM
So That's it , I'm starting this dream journal so I can record my experiments, dreams, lucid dreams, and such happenings. Lets hope this time something meaning full will happen and not only unrealistc stuff, such as people spinning on still ballons, mass suicide, and any other meaning of horrible.

For a beginning I'll write a few of my latest experiments.

In the latest dream this morning I fought a guy with two fists, I couldnt hit him untill I also grew two fists on each hand, and from now I was even able to counter his moves. Weird .

In the latest lucid dream, I had a sloppy wild btw, I tried to stabilize with focusing on body, eyes ,sensation and dream enviroment,
Things got quite vivid, but moments after, the colours got more intense, and bright, and the whole room was in dimensional waves , and the painting of earth that hangs on the wall, there was the milky way on it instead and it started to come out in a 3D formation. And thats how the dream ended.
    2. Getting back into lucid dreaming

      by , 10-02-2014 at 03:12 AM (Delenn's dream journal)
For some reason I want to try to lucid dream again. I thought about it a few days ago. That evening I had a lucid dream! I was pretty excited to have one after months or years of not thinking about lucid dreaming at all. I got to fly, and I kissed someone. Heh!

One interesting point is that the evening of my lucid dream, I was woken up at 5am by an Amber Alert on my phone. It was very loud and I woke up very abruptly. My lucid dream came after I fell back asleep.

I used this information the next night: I set an alarm for 5 hours after I went to bed. It did not work (I had no lucid dreams), but I will keep experimenting with this idea.

I have started my paper dream journal again. My dream recall is improving already. I also read about the All Day Awareness method (ADA)-- basically becoming more aware in my every day life, and thereby becoming more aware when I am dreaming. In this way the entire day becomes one big reality check. As I am a beginner I decided to focus on just one sense at a time--sense of smell, sense of sight, etc. Sense of smell is especially difficult for me because I don't think I have a very good sense of smell.

      My goals right now are:
      1. Lucid dream again.
      2. Say hello to someone in that lucid dream. This is a modest goal, but honestly I can't recall ever purposely speaking to someone in a lucid dream. I am naturally a quiet person so this doesn't surprise me. I think just speaking aloud will be a good first step.
      3. Increase awareness in my every day life.

I am going to start keeping track of how many lucid dreams I've had. I know I've had at least 5 in the past, but because I can't recall exactly how many, I'm just going to start the count over at 1.

    3. 12 May 2012

by , 05-13-2012 at 11:30 PM (May Experiment)
Writing this at 5:30PM on May 13 2012. I slightly recall remembering my dreams of that night. Very vague nothing vivid and very displeasing. First night of my research month. Confused that I did not become lucid or at least remember dreams. I felt very focused and aware in the waking world. The day before (11 May 2012) I spent hours on hours reading about lucid induction, as well as reading about others lucid dreams with the thought that if I spent most of the day concentrating and focusing on lucid dreams, I would have one. (Or at least remember my regular dreams). As of now I hadn't remembered my dreams and this is really putting a damper on my experiment as I need to progress fast.
    4. Attaining Lucidity, Week 01.

      by , 04-15-2012 at 07:16 PM
A couple of weeks ago, I had a very vivid dream that ended with me attaining lucidity.
I knew this because I was already familiair with the concept but I never felt the need to look into it, untill this personal experience.

So exactly one week ago, I joined the Dream Views community and started my journey into the realms of the dreamworld.

Objective week 01, enhance dream recall.

With confidence and determination I suprised even myself with recalling no less than 3 dreams every single night since the night I started.
The first nights were based on my everyday life, as if my mind was just putting my everyday experiences into place. But, slowly, my mind was getting familiar with my intentions and so the last couple of nights it threw some random mystical ones. Hoping my mind would make the connection I tried to feel as happy about it as I could so it would now my intentions.

Objective week 02, keep it up.

I plan on keeping up with my pen/paper DJ and share the more interesting dreams here also.
As soon as confidence is high enough I will do some first attempts of really attaining lucidity.

If you have any advice on how to continue please do comment on my journal or sent a message.

      Goodnight,
      Booney
    5. My Dream Journal, First Post!

      by , 05-28-2011 at 03:09 PM
Okay, i must admit that i did not have high expectations, about writing a Dream Journal. But now I am convinced strengthen that part of my mind that recall these dreams. So i finally made a login, so i could use this site. When it comes to LD, and my engagement in learning to master this fascinating skill, ill be honest with you when i say, that have never been this eager to learn anything ever, until i stumbled across the idea on-line. For fun i typed in "Dream Sharing" since i was so mind blown, by the concept of creating your own dream universe. It was the first time i met with the words Lucid Dreaming. After that I spent days, searching for the right techniques and methods to approach and learn this. The first thing that came up was "FORUM!" always visit forums when you want to learn about something new of your interest. So i went on this site and read almost everything there was for me to read, and we're talking all the basic beginner stuff, induction techniques, meditation, mantras, but the most important step seemed to be the Dream Journal, as it would enhance my ability to recall my dreams and "train" my "dream muscle" reading it and ponder each dream, would be exercising this so called "dream muscle". So i finally decided to keep track of my dream experiences.

One of the most exhilarating thing about lucid dreaming for me, would be that you spent nearly 1/3 part of your life sleeping, and that you somehow can take part of this through lucid dreaming. I certainly hope that i will one day master this skill to its perfection.
