      Notes:
This is a dream added from a few months earlier.

It must have been my home city according to my subconscious, but it looked different. Although it had many similar buildings, there was a huge river running near the middle of the city, directly through it from one end to the other. I knew this before I actually took off and flew.

I started out in a restaurant; it was an Italian-style restaurant with burgundy walls, gold accents and thick gold trim snaking around the middle of the walls. There were only a few tables and chairs, even though the restaurant was a larger size. I walked outside after standing around for a little while and I saw my mother walking towards me. "Hey Puffin," she told me casually and waved, then walked closer and looked around a bit. "You're dreaming," she told me quietly.

I usually don't become lucid if a DC tells me that I'm dreaming, but this time I did. "Yes!" I exclaimed loudly and bolted away, completely ignoring any reaction my mother might have had. I attempted to push myself off the ground without the help of anything. I managed to get a quite a few feet, but I only floated for a few moments and then fell back to the ground on my back. Flapping my arms didn't help. I imagined being alright after the fall, even though in reality it would have hurt me, and I was okay; the dream didn't end.

I decided to summon wings, and this worked. I couldn't see them, but I could see the shadow of them as they appeared behind me. I managed to take off and began accelerating over the city, traveling faster and faster. I had to push myself every few seconds because the speed would start to wane, but it was okay. I looked down at the city, and I could see everything, including the empty areas around it. I then turned my attention to the sky, which was a dark blue. Nighttime.

I decided to try something different and instead of saying "increase daylight" or something similar, I poked my index finger out against a currently invisible interface. Then, a keyboard appeared, the keys transparent against the sky but each outlined with a white border. I didn't pay attention to what the keys said, but I simply stated, "change to noon". The sky changed very quickly, and now it was a mixture of normal light daytime color, yellow, and shades of purple and pink.
