Relaxation for sleep: |
|
Excluding social connections, what´s your favorite relaxation activity, method or technique ? |
|
Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

Grab a book, lay in bed, and blast mine radio. |

I like to meditate. Although my meditation sessions do not always go so well, I find that they always relax me at the very least. It is also a great way to be "in the moment". With practice meditation can become a very spiritual experience I think. |

Workout with high intensity, smoke weed, eat, and sleep. This is a 4-part process that seems to yield me incredible results that leave me feeling renewed in the morning |

Moderate exercise and then a shower is a favorite of mine. I've been known to dance around my bedroom to some Talking Heads when it is late at night, and I'm not tired. |

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

I have a big inhale and then a big and slow exhale. And drinking some whisky while sitting on my puffy couch. |

One of my best ways to release and relax and hasn't been mentioned. |

Another thought is (if you're having trouble relaxing): you really should consider taking up "Yoga." |
|
Practicing on the violin, or trying taming the beast, however you want to call it is also relaxing. It makes me feel more down to earth, if you know what I mean. Movies video games, and porn have the opposite effect, they make you lose sense of who or what you are and you just midlessly crave for pleasure, especially games and porn. But practicing on the violin seems to do the opposite. It is not as obvious and direct as listening to music, for example, so it's a little different kind of relaxation. Because you do get mentally tired and after a few hours your willpower is totally drained, but I still think it is relaxing. It's hard to explain. It clarifies my mind, but so do listening to music and meditation, but it is different. |
|
If someone told me I had to choose two recordings of music which I would have to listen to for the rest of my life and listen to nothing else except the 2 chosen recordings I would have absolutely no problem with the 2 recordings above. |
|
I like yoga and meditation for the relaxation. I do yoga and meditation in my routine workout for getting better physical and mental relaxation. Both of these are amazing techniques for the physical and mental relaxation. Every person should try it in their routine workout. |
|
Stretching and showers are good for physical relaxation. If I had a hot tub I'd probably use it all the time. |

Music, a shower, and a nap. |

It will definitely be therapeutic massage. It releases all my tension and relaxes my tired body. Much better with lavander oil or ginger oil. |
