Anyways what is the energy link supposed to do again?

Me: "Well its a dream so anything is possible... Wait... do you mean like one eye in the middle of the head like a true cyclops, or just a regular dog that's missing one eye?"

hmm...I doubt a dog thats missing an eye can be called a cyclops. I think it has to be in the center and probably has to be a giant dog.

There was a movie poster featuring DawnEye11, Oneup and Mastermind titled 'Adventures in Dreamland'. There was another movie poster titled '~Dreamer~' and just showed a purple eye. (Huh... wonder who that was referring to...)

That reminds me of the movie Paprika. They could see a movie poster of a person that was dreaming in the movie. XD

She then flew up and hit the ceiling and was seemingly stuck to the ceiling randomly flailing her arms and legs around as more grass grew out of them. She looked like she was trying to scream. For some odd reason, I thought that the person was another dreamer and said:
"Wow, someone's having a weird nightmare..."

Poor girl.

"Error. can't connect to dream guide. one sided energy link is not allowd." (with 'allowed' spelled wrong.)
My dreams seem to have a lot of computer problems lately. Maybe they run on Vista.

Good thing I use windows XP.

I became lucid here and decided that if I wanted to get back to my home, I should just teleport home.

I woke up in my bed. I didn't actually expect my teleportation to work- wait a second... Rats.

Isn't the first time the dream decided to dick me over in this sort of way.

hahaha Guess your new location turned out to be out of the dream world. At least you were lucid for a bit though. Sounds like a nice dream too.

I wouldn't call it THAT. But I do find the similarity something to ponder more on (for myself, I mean). This is the second time we're thinking along similar topics. The other time was with the sinking ships, though each from our own perspectives:

I just find it interesting. An occurrence that gives me reason to pause, to say 'hey, I wonder what that's about'.

It can be done. It's just a matter of motivation, dedication and a lot of dumb luck.

I know that feeling too. I might draw a new avatar pic today. Maybe you should do some art too. Help to get the negative feelings onto a canvas and out of your head.

The lucid parts are really short and few, I'm mostly having non lucids and the characters i get are super annoying and bad. I hate them all except for a few who pop up and my younger brother. OTL

There are definitely a lot of surprising moments in this one.But it sounds like a a fun dream regardless and a lot better than the dreams i'm having now. Congrats on having another long lucid. : 3

I would so go to a convention like that if it existed.

What I saw in the mirror was not a pretty sight either. I looked pale, wrinkled, I had long blonde hair. (Okay, weird). I was wearing a pit-stained tank top and ripped up old jeans. My eyes were a dull grayish brown. There was something in my mouth that I could only describe as a paper straw wrapper, but I guess it was supposed to be meth or something. It was also soaked about halfway up from blood.

That is one disturbing look. I hate when the dream ends up making me hideous too. But i agree with you about the message thing.

My younger brother has them and complains at times about how annoying they are. Its good that you get to have them taken off soon though. ^^

So what she had decided to try was like doing a re-spec of my character taking some power from dream control and putting it into lucidity and stability. She said that she was worried that I wouldn't like it. I told her I was happy with it and wished she had done it sooner.

That is a interesting idea. Characters stabilizing the scene for you. I wonder how well that would work if it was done a couple of times. Well you did manage to have a really long stable lucid dream. Congrats! : D

That character wasn't nearly so dark and twisted when I wrote him back a few years ago...

Things can get pretty dark when you least expect it at times.
