Reading about your vacation dream makes me wanna go on a vacation for real. Hopefully in the summer I can go on one.TwT Also, the emoji part of your dream was cute and kind of funny. Dreams can be so weird at times. XD

That dream game sort of reminded me of super mario for the nitendo console. I haven't played a good game in a while now that I think of it. ^^

I tend to wonder how our minds can produce such wonderful settings as well. I don't know how but in the end I am just thankful to have a dream world where possibilities abound.

Well it's been three nights and its mostly been no recall or mucky NLDs.

I was hoping to figure this out too, but I guess we'll just have to wait until the next LD.

It really bothers me that my dreams are doing such a good job of having the same kind of annoyances and problems as waking life. Honestly, the main reason I picked up lucid dreaming was to GET AWAY from this crap.

Reading your journal entries is a lot like reading a book. That was amazing! I feel upset I can't read more yet, lol...

Well it's weird for me because in waking life, I like to avoid curse words whenever possible. But I guess in dreams what you say 'out loud' and what you think are a little more blurred.

I wish I had a lucid dream like yours last night. I love the idea of flying above the lake and element bending. OTL Anyways congrats on doing the task of the month. Also, I thought that "ass tits" thing was just like a catchphrase. Something you say whenever you mess up.

The simple version of this is Manei, my DG is attempting to convince me that it would be fun to explore a future timeline where we have kids. Now I've put up with a lot of the romantic BS (and even enjoyed some of it) but I'm drawing the line here. I can think of many reasons why this is a terrible idea, but what is basically boils down to is the fact that the reality would be awkward, entail too much responsibility for a dream world that is supposed to be about freedom and exploration, and serve no purpose.

Yikes forreal though. I'd personally never start a family in a dream, probably not even once I created a persistent dream world lol.

I might try manifesting a personification of the bad habit and conversing with him/her about how I might break the habit.

Have you read ETWOLD? In int LaBerge talks about how you can do exactly that or you could hug the manifestation or just erase it from existence in the dream and it would do the same in waking life apparently.

Manei has also lost her profile picture privilege until she cuts the BS and lets me talk to her about what really matters.

Oh wow. After reading your goal list I kind of understand what you meant more. Interesting goals overall.

Reading this again im like. O.o Manei why!? But yeah her wise character just seemed to go down when she said it was a possible future.

Its interesting that you mentioned you let her do what she wants to at times. I find it helpful to be passive to certain dream characters as well.

xD That was a good one. Also, thinking about the kid situation in the dream reminds me of a question talked about in my class. Is it okay for a person to leave a random kid behind in order to save their own life?(I.e. A bear attack) In my opinion it depends although i probably would try to save them. In dreams it doesn't matter but it just feels good to play hero at times.

Well the problem is they weren't just any random kids. They were supposed to be our kids from the future timeline. (Poorly titled DJ entry that it took me a long time to find to the rescue.)

I remember it because this dream has happened a couple of times, and I remember the second or third LD we had together had to do with this. It's always the same, there are three kids born as triplets. (2 girls and a boy) And I've always been strongly opposed to this timeline. For two good reasons.

1. It destroys a level of freedom that my dreams have. Manei and Marcus are nice because they are my friends but they can also take care of themselves (most of the time, anyway) and they can leave me alone and I don't have to play babysitter. If we bring a bunch of kids into the picture then I'm stuck with a bunch of LDs about changing baby diapers, giving time-outs and being a father. No thanks.

2. It doesn't seem healthy. Having a dream guide is one thing. Becoming invested in an entire family of DCs that you are related to just seems like you're going a bit far...

3. It goes against how I view our relationship. I always viewed us as platonic partners more focused on exploring, action and adventure. She's a dream guide first, but I don't want to be selfish, and if she wants to play high school swimsuit romance on the side, then that's one thing that I'll just have to (sometimes begrudgingly) go along with. But what she's suggesting with these dreams is going too far, and if she's really a dream guide worth sticking with, she'll understand if I draw the line there.

Sorry for long rant had to get my thoughts organized somewhere.

After reading this I want to have a lucid dream. I miss looking at and feeling the surrounding of the dream world. I also enjoyed reading your funny moments in the dream.

About our dreams; it does seem like we have similar dreams as our environments are always extremely creative and out of the ordinary. It's interesting to think about. By the way I meant to ask you, what happens when you energy sync with your dream guide? What's the purpose of it?

Manei is my dream guide. Same one who I did the energy sync with. I don't know exactly what its for, because I've only done it a couple of times, and the behavior has been pretty erratic.

Batman and robin attacked in the batwing but he shot them down immediately with his heat vision.

Superman wound up beating all of the other heroes. As he did, of course I manifested into first person from a simply observational perspective.

There were some guys who had brought a ghetto blaster and were dancing and we didn't like the music either.
I'm fairly certain the lyrics that played were "Fuck, Fuck, Fuck a Pop-Tart, yeah!" to some sort of rap beat.

I laughed so hard when I read this lmao. Usually all the music in my dreams sounds amazing but every once in a while I'll hear music like this

I remember we started running away. Manei said something about getting the kids. I got ticked at her at this point, I already made a point how there shouldn't be kid characters (ours or otherwise) because when dangerous things like evil (Supermans? Supermens?) or fifty foot waves show up. (And they do, very often around here) we do not need to put anyone else at risk. I started stake-running but realized Manei couldn't keep up if I did that. (Why doesn't she have any powers, and if she does, why doesn't she use them?)

The first dream you had about the Simpsons was hilarious! xD It actually sounded like what Homer and Bart would've done in the actual series. (Maybe they already have? Don't know because it's been a while since I watched anything...)

And the dream about Inside Out was so interesting! I wonder what emotion the Orange one was though...

I took Karate there for a couple of months. But I got thrown out of the Karate group after I snuck away from class and wandered around the middle school for half the night before my parents and the cops found me.)

I said something like "Dang, I look good." I then remember she said she thought I looked bad. I thought about mentioning that it looked like her nose was missing and she was old and wrinkly, but that could come off as an insult. Whatever, looks aren't important.

Lol XD What a horrible insult that would have been.

In a weird way, this was it. This was the reason that I had first started lucid dreaming. To just be alone, so I could be myself and not have anybody bother me.

Manei appeared and I was immediately snapped out of my trance. She was just standing there looking at me a little ways down the beach. I looked up at her, and just decided to ignore her and go back to what I was doing. (I also remember her hair was blowing in the wind, the breeze coming off of the sea, putting it at almost a 90 degree angle to her. This was very significant somehow) I looked up again and she had slendermanned her way closer.

I think I politely asked her to leave, but she said that she wouldn't judge me for doing whatever I wanted.

Wow...Interesting how you wanted to lucid dream to be alone. I think I was the complete opposite though. My dream characters spoiled me with their company that I hated being alone in dreams. : P I don't understand why I had to be such a anxious kid when it came to lucid dreaming. Guess it was because I didn't have someone to help show me how lucid dreams really worked in the right manner.

Also, I remember seeing only half of the movie inside out with my family but than everyone got bored of the movie so i turned it off. XD Why does your dream entry of it seem so much more interesting than the movie to me?
