+ a young female doctor saves me from 3 "stroke bubbles" heading for my body through one of the tubes attached to me (I see them), and then attaches a matrix-squidy-like mechanical thingy (neuron stimulator?) encased in a glass tube with thousands of ultrafine metal probes to me and I study it, it takes two-handed operation to work, I'm then in a car with some device telescoping outside of the window and I'm concerned its weight will tip the car over.
There are other bubbles in the tube, the doctor was racing to me from some other location. The squidy thing is highly intricate and very bizarre looking, the glass tube and the squidy thing is about 1.5 feet long and about the size of a fist in diameter.

+ observe a battle to the death for control of one of a set of mind-operated super weapon cars which make the owners wealthy since they're so valuable, and the winner beats his opponent when he's locked body to body with him by transforming himself in to a small child so he is much shorter, and then firing the machine guns in the door of the car through the body of his enemy (and the bullets don't hit the child-man because of his smaller size). The scene begins by approaching a home in a deserted area, some thought about growing corn.

+ working with a technician on diagnosing the problems of a super complicated electronic device, I see him fixing some shorted wires, I'm digging in to putty-like coverings on the nose of the device to expose a necklace clasp which is malfunctioning, I say how strange/funny it is that a tiny simple component can ruin the operation of such an expensive complicated device. We're inside some sort of super-high-ceilinged hangar open to the outside, the device is on its side with its nose pointing to the left.

+ outdoors at twilight playing catch on a large open field, I know the T family (facebook friends) lives just a hundred yards beyond the field, I think how surprised they will be when I show up for a visit since we've never met in person. I start at one side of the field, head across the field and look backwards at where I've been. The T's live ahead and to the left of the final position/orientation.

+ interviewing the owner/designer of some super-secret device (perhaps the one worked on above), he's showing me around the grounds of his design centre, I stand at a beautiful outdoors scene in the shade of trees looking at a crystal clear flowing creek (flowing left to right), there's a Y intersection in the water, and gardens/houses/hlils rising up to blue skies and clouds in the distance, I wonder where we are and ask him "is this nearby the (some real place)?", I ask if they dump their waste into the water and a woman's voice says yes, I was going to try to drink the water but won't now. Outdoors/bright daylight.
The fork of the Y is to the left, extending around a garden containing a house. I want to find out where this place is so I can return (and drink the water?). I'm standing here for some time just looking and wondering where it is.

The above is probably my strongest location awareness in a dream yet, really wondering where I was and trying to place my location relative to other landmarks that I know.

+ (possibly continuing the above) face-to-muzzle with several fierce dogs sliding down some sort of pole/tubes, the point is to hold on, I'm a bit concerned about them biting me

+ playing some food tossing competition with an opponent of mine, I think he's rigged the game, it's like shuffleboards but with pieces of food, first guy tosses a piece of food and the second guy has to make his land as close to the original as possible, he starts with some orange colored cake thing, I think he's messed with my piece, I end up wadding a bunch of orange cake together and tossing it and it lands pretty far to the right of his piece, I think he's rigged the table as well since it's just a foot off of the ground, way too low, -- some people nearby are laughing about a girl in a contorted funny position on her knees. Walking by a table with cakes/muffins on it on the way to the competition I think of eating some. Probably residue from watching "Hook" right before bed (the bright colored imagined food fight scene).

+ I see my old college roommates (real, college age) are repainting the front of our house (fictional) with a mural against a white background, I see my face painted on the mural as one of 3 faces, I'm honored they put it there, it's a drawing of my face looking like how my wife drew me when we were still dating, then the friends are sitting around a circle joking, I'm standing a little ways apart, I think they're talking about me
