Lucid Time!

I have no idea when I had these dreams, but they are kind of dry. But here they are anyway.

I was staying with my family at some kind of ski condo lodge for staying long term. The condos are built up next to a parking lot and they are these log-cabin type buildings about four stories high. Two condos are stacked vertically as well as perhaps 20 horizontally going down the row. We are staying in the bottom condo at the end of the building.
Time to go skiing. We get to the ski hill and the chairlift takes us about halfway up only to find that (enter dream logic) all of the ski runs on the top half of the hill have replaced all the snow with sand. Me and some other guy (no idea who, not part of the family) decide to try to ski down the sand hill. We take a second chairlift to the top of the hill.
We get to the top of the hill and find that on the side of the hill opposite the ski lift is a large ocean lined by a tropical beach. So how there was snow on the other side of the mountain... I dunno dream logic. We start skiing back down and we get to the halfway point where the snow starts again only to find my father waiting there.
He explains that one of my cousins got sick and that another group of the family went to eat lunch; he had stayed behind to meet with me and (whoever that guy was) when we returned from the top. So now with this big overly complex family split up, I didn't know what to do. I can't recall what happened after that.

I am at my family's favorite beach resort. (I've been trying to induce dreams there.) where there are two beaches. Supposedly it has become this new fad for resorts, so they had gotten a large dredging ship to build a second sandbar off out over the beach.
The new sand bar was a very large sort of bean shaped island that was quite large, but it looked as though during high tide the entire island was underwater. This seemed to be because the entire surface of the island was made of smooth wet sand. I walked out on the island and noted that this "second beach" thing is strange, but never went as far as questioning if i was in fact dreaming.

I still have to get three more lucids this month to fulfill my goal of 8. In one of e'm, I'd like to try and do the basic TOTM. Got 10 days. Let's do this.
