Lucid Time!

In the dream my father had just died and now me and my mother were living alone. We were talking about moving into a smaller house and getting rid of a lot of our stuff. (IRL, my dad has held on to a lot of junk. Things like my old toys from when I was a kid and old TVs and computers that don't work too well anymore.

We somehow got in this reality TV show called 'Re-arranged' where these people would come into your house and re-arrange all the furniture and make a mess and then film the reactions. It was a pretty stupid idea if you ask me.

I remember they moved all of the furniture in my bedroom into the middle of my room. My dresser, that has my quartz crystal on it now had a big pile of crystals on it in all different colors. This was something that I remembered the show doing that they would leave you extra things to make up for the inconvenience they caused moving all of the furniture around. This seemed kind of counter-productive to the way that we were trying to get rid of things in the house, though.

The one thing they hadn't moved was my desk. I decided that I wanted to get on my computer to play Kerbal Space Program. But when I booted it up and signed in I saw that all of my files had been moved around too. They had uninstalled all my mods and now my save file was corrupted. I looked around and saw that all of my digital art was messed up too. I wondered how they figured out my password on my laptop. I was so mad I tried to scream:

But nothing came out of my mouth. I then became lucid and woke up a moment later.

Dang layer 1's.

I was in the woods with my dad (very much still alive in this dreams' timeline), cousins and some other family members. We were building a fort out of sticks to prepare for either an attack from an evil government militia, a zombie apocalypse or both. I can't remember.

I just remember that the fort was in a gully and we put these big branches standing upright to build the frame, then putting smaller sticks horizontally. We needed a lot of medium and smaller sized sticks to make the wall and I was helping to gather them up.

At some point the fort morphed from a lame kids' stick fort to this actually rather epic fortification. The fort was made of huge timbers and had three story towers with cannons on top. The fort was built on the side of a lake now. (Or there could have been a lake before that I just didn't see because of the trees.) It looked like a castle but made entirely out of wood.

I think me or my friend S pointed out that if somebody set the fort on fire we would be in big trouble.

I also had a dream that I had revived my old comic series, Kyle and Gary. I was working on the next comic in the series that I had planned to do.
