Sandboarding, Dream Clarity Discussion (LD #38)

I was with my mom and dad, and we were alone in some woodland area. It was bright and sunny, and the forest looked healthy. The dream was actually quite vivid. Somebody had explained to me that this was like Minecraft but in real life, and that our goal was to build shelter and find food and stuff.
I found a purple clump of grass. When I picked it up, I was explained that it was a food source plant, but it would only grow when planted next to the water. Me and my mother agreed to go find a river or lake to plant the food plant.
Up until this point, we had been standing on a path that ran around a small mountain. The path was about halfway up the mountain, but it was difficult to judge because of all the trees and such.
We began making our way down through the trees the slope was quite steep, perhaps 30 or 40 degrees. We had only walked for about a minute when the forest opened up to a huge sandy slope that ran down the face of the mountain.
I was being careful not to fall and tumble, but also trying not to move too slowly down the sandy slope. I could see a good sized river at the bottom of the mountain.
I decided to innovate. I broke a huge piece of bark from a dead tree stump and began "snowboarding" down the sandy slope. This was much faster than walking, and I reached the bottom very quickly.
I reached the bottom, and got off the piece of tree bark. I was ready to plant the purple grass.
But I did a nose pinch and realized it was a dream. I moved my hands to stabilize, but noticed that I could feel blankets whenever I moved.
I tried very hard not to wake up, but ultimately, I did wake up.

I was in my science class at high school. My teacher was talking about some dream that he had, and told us about how his dreams were never as clear and realistic as real life.
I raised my hand, and I was going to argue with him, and tell him that when I lucid dream, that sometimes, I can increase the clarity of the dream to the point that it is close to real life, and I know that other people have dreams where the clarity they have in the dream is actually greater than that of real life.
