With one week remaining in 2017, I had hoped to end the year with at least one last lucid dream. Within days of this decision, my resolve has been rewarded with a night of several intense dreams—one of them lucid: INT. GYMNASIUM - DAY I return to work after Christmas break. The company has rented a huge new facility in the interim. I nervously try to find my way around the strange complex. My colleagues are exercising in the morning before going to work: basketball, soccer, swimming--wait, what? Yes, two swimmers stroke past, near at hand. Suddenly, I myself sink up to my neck in water, too. The magical appearance of a swimming pool all around me startles my consciousness awake and I achieve...lucidity! I quickly begin to engage the dream, attempting to stabilize my awareness. But, as usual, I awake right away--this time due to my alarm clock's chirping at 6:21 AM. I have had similar success in achieving lucidity in the past, after volunteering to participate in a dream study whose submission deadline I missed by only a couple of weeks. (Tardy subconscious! But better late than never.) 3 mg melatonin, 1500 µg vitamin B12, and brief meditation before an 11:15 PM bedtime.

I had 1 lucid dream & 1 non-lucid but I lost the non to dealing with life in a timely matter. I was listening to a meditation by Lilian Eden. She is an almost guaranteed lucid for me of some kind. Lucid: I was lucid from the very beginning which is rare for me. I was in the total dark but I knew where I was & I knew what was going to happen so I just started laughing. I was about to have the floor drop out from under me & into the water. This has happened before. There is a wet washcloth on my face & I get dropped into a dark pool of water. This time one of my sisters was there & I threw the washcloth at her & told her to not be scared. The meditation ended & I woke up. It still makes me laugh. I'm sure it's one of those things that you just had to be there for the funny part. Non-Lucid-Green Lucid-Red Explanation of details-Blue Side Notes-Purple Astral Projection/AP-Brown
So I've wanted to experience a lucid dream for quiet some time and read a wiki how about ways to improve your chances of becoming lucid in your dreams, and one of the steps said to look at your hands and say "this is not a dream". I've been doing that often enough, but last night I kind of became aware I was dreaming. I was running away from a collapsing building and I suddenly saw my hands and thought "this is not a dream" and I found myself in my living room? I realised that I could control my dream and a great sense of power came over me, I tried to move things without touching them and this worked with small items but nothing large like the sofa, so I tried to materialise things and that didn't work either. I then went out into my kitchen where my brother and his friend were and I tried to show them why I could do but it took ages for me to move anything and when I did it was only a coin, them they left and two of my friends showed up, and then lots of other people and I forgot about the lucid dream? It's hard to explain really, I know I wasn't lucid, but can someone explain what happened? And if you have any tips on how to become lucid easier or more effective than the hand thing, I would appreciate them!
So the other night, i had a very strange dream.. just wanted to know if anyone could tell me anything about it. i cant stop thinking about it, kinda scary.. But i was loooking into a mirror in my bathroom, for my whole dream , looking into someones eyes, they were mesmerising, very beautiful, like they hypnotised me.. and i was talking about being high on acid or just thinking about it, then out of nowhere, those eyes i was staring into, felt as if there was the devil present.. very dark spirit. I was scared, and staring into the mirror still i realised i was looking at the devil.. and i was offered riches if i were to give it something of mine, which was my soul.. so he had me recite a line in a different language , backwards or something.. so i did, then i felt what was my breath taken away, and i fell to the ground twitching reciting somthing what sounded like gibberish. . and i dont really remember the rest. has anyone ever had a dream similar. ? or know what it is about..
hello, I begun trying to lucid dream about 2 months ago, i tryed hard for about 2 weeks with no succes. i kept a dream journal and did frequent reality checks throughout the day. after those two weeks i gave up. about 10 days ago i begun trying again, but this time i tried using some of the vitamins. started taking DMAE and vitamin b6 i took those for a week and i couldnt get my dream recall back, even with the help of the vitamins. i have been writing down the little bits of my dream that i remember, but now i cant remember any of them. with or without the vitamins. i do about 40-50 reality checks a day, but i have had no progress on gaining lucidity. i would apretiate any advise on SP of anything else.
