I am immediately recognize that I am lucid within a dream as I am browsing through a Walmart. I remind myself that whatever my expectations are that is what will manifest itself within the dream. So I decide to stay calm and know that this dream does not have to end sooner than it should. So I become mindful of my body and just slowly walk observing the environment enjoying myself. Then I end up in an outside area where people seem to be sitting at picnic tables socializing. I noticed a random dream character that appeared to look interesting so I approached the person and asked what is your name. The dream character responded my name is Arlene. Shortly afterwards the dream spontaneously shifted to me standing into what seemed a very sacred area full of beautiful flowers and other remarkable items surrounding me. I have in my hand a sacred text and as I'm reading this text I think wow this is compose so beautifully, I wonder how my mind is coming up with this. I think maybe I'm channeling this information from an outside source, you never know. Then as I'm reading this text a vision of a distant galaxy composed of beautiful pastel colors reveals itself is a Pure Land. I feel deeply inspired as if I can feel the good energy directing itself from the Pure Land directly towards me. Then I wake up.This dream was very beautiful. I also want to note that the text I was reading in the dream was written by master by the name of Lama Zopa.
This one is quick because the dream was destabilized pretty quickly once I became lucid. Anyways, I dreamt I was in whole foods and I thought "Why the fuck am I in here? All this shit is over-priced!" Then I realized it was a dream. It all turned a muddy brown and then I was awake.
I have had several "prophetic" dreams over the years, in which a similar situation I dreamed appears in waking life, or direct situational experiences that happen in my dreams then happen in my life a few days later. Some examples that I can remember: In Dream: Boss comes to me worried and upset because the til was off by $40. In reality: A couple weeks after, my boss comes to me freaking out because the til was off by $40 (Just for reference, I work at a music retail store) In Dream: Checking new oboe reed stock as it comes in, annoyed at my coworkers for not checking them in themselves, notice one of the few reeds I had ordered was "stripping" at the sides of the reed, making it a "bad oboe reed" In reality: A few days later, I get new oboe reed stock in and, checking them over, I notice one of the reeds was "stripping" in the exact manner that I was shown in my dream In one of my 'nightmare' dreams (Check my DJ): While getting out of a haunted house, very large, very hairy spiders surround the door frame of the house. In reality: A few days later, while baby sitting, I turn to lead the kids out the door and to the bus stop I notice their parents had put up Halloween decorations. One of the decorations was a string of plastic spiders hung around their door frame. The spiders were the same size, same color, and same "hairiness" as the spiders in my dream, except these ones were fake (obviously) Several instances (though I can't remember exactly) where I am told something or someone says something and that same word or phrase is said just days later in a similar situation with the same inflection and tone as in my dream. What are your takes on oneiromancy or dream divination? Are my examples "valid" examples of such things?
#473 - 11:30PM OK I've been super unmotivated to post my LD's. There are two that will never make it in here, but I have to get back into the habit. I'll keep it brief to save time. Someone that looked like Wurlman was doing a dream study in my house while I slept on the futon and I did a WILD. I felt energy that looked and somehow felt like a supernova burst from me and I had a typical OBE. I floated around my dark house a bit and then lost lucidity. I did another WILD and woke up back to the previous dream. We talked and I noted how extra dark the dream was. I wondered why that always happens. Wurlman was excited because he got some very interesting readings when I went supernova. I was surprised he saw that. When I woke up I felt thoroughly mind-fucked because I didn't realize there was several "layers" to the dream. NON LUCID I had a really long and vivid dream where I was on a cruise ship with my wife. My siblings and their spouses join us from another ship that I tracked on my phone. I was somehow able to snapchat their arrival with both cameras in order to catch the even from both perspectives. The curse ship had game shows that people could participate in and I was one of the lucky few. I had to go some challenge, but I kept getting lost and ending back into the main lobby and hallway. I see a sign that says "2 free pets". I go to take one token but this lady from work takes both and looks at me crazy. I am mad, but let her have it. I ask her what she got and I see her with a bowl full of something. She says it's Coconut Face. Confused and not really caring, I shrug and walk away. I realize I lost the game show challenge and join my wife in the audience. I have another dream where I am having anal sex with an unknown female coworker in men's room. I try to keep things as quiet as possible as I see feet in other stalls and the sound of flushing toilets. What a night! I had several other dreams that I woke up from but was too tired to record.
