Lucid Time!

I remember I was stuck with my parents late at night. They were driving around in the city going to different restaurants/bars/etc. I remember feeling like I just wanted to go home, that I didn't want to get out of the car and visit anymore locations. I announced how bad I was feeling.

They said we could go home, and abandon our original plan of going to get late night pizza with my cousins. I got in the car. They said that they could see Venus and Jupiter outside the passenger side window. They asked me (the astronomy nut) if that was correct.) I looked. I saw Venus, Mars and Jupiter, each about as big as the moon in a nice neat row.

Lucid. It was the planet mars that triggered it.

As soon as I became lucid, I began looking at everything around me. I remember seeing a city skyline and 'remembering' something about how all the buildings in the city were built from the top down and suspended with huge cranes. I recall the sky becoming orange and green and filling with huge cumulonimbus clouds. I said something about how I knew the clouds were caused by nightmares, and that the bigger the storm, the more evil the nightmare that was causing it.

I remember I went back into non-lucidity thinking about construction sites and the top down construction. I might have even woken up for a brief period of time.

The next thing I can remember I was in a room with another DC. I think they were a member of the dreamviews forum, but I don't remember anything else. They told me to follow them as fast as I could. They walked out of the room and I followed. I didn't have the need to go so fast because they were not going that fast.

I remember we were in what sort of felt like some kind of shopping mall. There were indications that I was dreaming everywhere. I remember two of the stores were called 'Lucid' and 'Dream'. There was a movie poster featuring DawnEye11, Oneup and Mastermind titled 'Adventures in Dreamland'. There was another movie poster titled '~Dreamer~' and just showed a purple eye. (Huh... wonder who that was referring to...)

I figured I should reality check. I did a nose pinch RC. It didn't seem to work at first, but I tried a second and third time. Yeah. Lucid dreaming...

I remember noting that the mall was mostly quiet. Most of the shops were closed and there were only a few people wandering about.

I remember seeing a doctors table in the middle of the mall where two doctors were treating some patient. They injected her with something and she started to grow grass out of her legs. She then flew up and hit the ceiling and was seemingly stuck to the ceiling randomly flailing her arms and legs around as more grass grew out of them. She looked like she was trying to scream. For some odd reason, I thought that the person was another dreamer and said:

"Wow, someone's having a weird nightmare..."

The doctor disappeared and everyone stopped in the middle of the mall. This angry female gym coach came out.

"Alright, lucid dreamers. Fly Lightspeed! Let's go."

I looked up at the ceiling. There were the octagon decorations hanging from it and I tried to picture them both being made of Styrofoam, so I should be able to punch right through it. I remember thinking that I wanted to try that energy exchange agian. Maybe I can use the power to fly.

I saw a little bar graph appear in the lower part of my feild of view. The line was near the bottom. I took off and started flying upward. I saw the line started to go up. The more I focused on flying upward, the higher the line went. I tried screaming like an anime character powering up and and the line went almost all the way to the top. Everything went black and white for a split second. I held my concentration there until I asked myself why I was listening to this random DC. That broke my concentration.

Then I was inside of a fire all around me that burned away and I was breaking through the sound barrier. All of my speed stopped and I was several miles above the ground and there were clouds all around me.

Almost immediately, I found myself in my high school gym. The graph had been replaced with a computer error.

"Error. can't connect to dream guide. one sided energy link is not allowd." (with 'allowed' spelled wrong.)

My dreams seem to have a lot of computer problems lately. Maybe they run on Vista.

I remember seeing a boy (who I actually recognized.) but he had Manei's hair. I guess we're having problems 'loading the correct character model' now. I remember the mean gym coach lady came and started yelling at me, but I couldn't have cared less. I could barely hear her too.

"You can't make an energy link with yourself, silly!"

"So we need to be touching for that to work?"

"Yes. You're going to wake up in a second, but the teapot dream is up next and we can try it there."
