Semi Lucid: Video Game Challenge,Glowing Pink Mushroom Jellyfish, and Manei

My sculpture professor wanted to teach us how to play music. Supposedly this had something to do with making us better sculptors because you had diversity in what kind of art you worked on.

He had this assistant man with short hair and a black jacket, and he led us to this building on campus. When we went inside, I couldn't help but think that I was in my old high school.

When we got in we saw there were a whole bunch of telephones. Apparentley this was how we were going to make music, with the various tones of 'beeps' that play when you press the different buttons on the phone.

It then became some kind of video game tournament. This had to do with sculpture too, but also rhythm. Supposedly if you could find the right rhythm and flow of the game, you could beat anybody. And he wanted to prove his point by saying that he would take anyone on in any video game and beat them.

Some girl (it was Manei, and I would have recognized that had I not been nonlucid) volunteered to play him. He then asked the class what game they should play. I put my hand up and told him to play Chrome Hounds.

Manei was in a panic because she didn't know how to play. I asked her if she would give me her seat, and I would play the professor for him. I thought since I was really good, I might have a chance at beating him.

The match loaded in. (Somehow or other we skipped the phase where you assemble your Mech) My mech was this large light gray tank vehicle with rocket pods on the sides. The map we were on was small. I only had one base in the far bottom left corner of the map. There was a river that ran past my base, cutting the map in half northeast to southwest. The rest of the map was snowy tundra with some small mountains scattered about in no particular pattern.

I started moving, slowly, when I realized that whoever had build my mech had forgotten to set the weapon systems. Even though I had a large number of rocket pods, I could only fire four of them.

I started advancing, and got a little more than halfway across the map when I heard the 'base capture warning' (Two inaccuracies to the game here. One, there was no base capture warning, and Two, You didn't capture the base in this game, you destroyed it.)

I turned around and headed back, when I realized that I had a clear shot from where I was. I shot, and my rocket pods bombarded the area around my base. I saw his mech. it looked like a covered army truck, and was green and brown. When he started taking hits from me he panicked and drove toward me. This only made it easier for me to score a few more direct hits on him.

He didn't seem to have any weapons either. He might have had some small machine guns or something, but he didn't seem to do any damage to me. He tried to flee
back to his base, but found himself getting killed before he could do so.

The professor got very upset that his demonstration of how having a good musical rhythm could make you better at anything, even games you had never played before. The dream scene changed to the lake behind my house. I became semi lucid.

What followed was probably the single most random thing I think my dream guide has ever done:

"You have proven that you are worthy. You may touch my bicep." (She flexes)

I... I got nothing... That is the most random thing that I think you could have done in the situation. (I mean granted, I don't believe in gender roles, and if a girl wants to show off her muscles, that's totally fine with me. It was more of the way that she said it, trying to sound sophisticated that made this so funny and random. I think she was really just being silly again.)

I wasn't fully lucid. I saw that my neighborhood was full of snow, but it was all melting. There seemed to be all of these unusual objects buried in the snow that were only revealing now.

"Is that a car? Did somebody seriously lose an entire car underneath the snow?" (Gesturing to a crushed white car half-buried in the snow.)

For some reason, I was talking with a very strong east Asian accent.

I then found these objects wrapped in brown paper. [False Memory] They were crystals that I was trying to recolor to be green so that they could aide in healing my heart chackra [/False Memory] I wondered if my coloring agent had worked. When I started to unwrap the crystals I saw the color peel off with the paper. It hadn't worked and my crystals were still white/clear like I had 'remembered' them.

For some reason, Manei had been replaced with this girl with dirty blonde hair and freckles. She asked me somethings bout the crystals.

    ...

I was still in the same general location. I was looking in a puddle of melted water and saw that there were small mushrooms in it that turned into glowing purple jellyfish here. They swam around in the puddle and eventually started swimming around in the air around me.

I remember thinking that this was really weird and cool, and that I would like to see if I could do something with it the next time I was dreaming, I might be able to experience something like this. The Jellyfish carried on for a minute.

I think Manei showed up again before the end of the dream.

I'm not surprised the professor lost but I agree that having music on can be good/inspirational for someone creating something. That's why I like to listen to music when i'm I'm drawing or coloring. Do you like to do the same? : 3

xD I had to laugh at this part. It was just so unexpected.

They must have been really pretty to watch. ^w^

Sometimes. If I'm doing shading work or something repetitive like drawing a simple cartoon character. But if I want to buckle down and focus, I usually work in quiet. (That drawing I did of all of your dream guides was pretty tough for me to draw, most of that was done without the music.)
