Tornadoes and Cutoff Lucidity (Afternoon nap)

I was with two people along with one of my old tech school teachers. We were making our way around my home town, by the train tracks. (A part of my town that I do not frequent.) The other two people in our party were students, acquaintances, but faceless, nameless and not really important to the story.

We were out on an excursion that well, the school wasn't exactly allowing but we were doing anyway. The teacher, (We'll call him Mr. A) was one of those cool teachers always up for these sort of antics. Although I can't remember exactly what we were doing. We were walking along the four of us, talking about art and graphic design. (The tech school I attended focused on these.) So, if we were going to get in trouble with the school, then at the very least, our discussion was on topic.

Somebody mentioned that the sky was getting dark and that we should probably seek shelter in a store or restaurant. Then we heard a crack of thunder and the tornado siren started. I saw a funnel cloud starting to form and everybody ran in panic.

I started running into the towns industrial park. Normally, there is a 12-foot concrete wall around it, but in the dream it had collapsed and been overgrown with weeds and shrubs. This yielded a vast warehouse (not there IWL) I ran inside. Probably not the best choice for a tornado shelter, but it didn't bother me.

I think one of my characters from my comics was in there.

I could see out of a large door, like one for an airplane hangar. A tornado had touched down but it seemed to be going perpendicular to me. Just as I thought I was safe, a mini tornado formed and began cutting through the warehouse starting at the door. Equipment and supplies fell everywhere. It seemed to be a metalworking warehouse of some kind.

For some reason it also had the feel of a children's museum to it. This had some grounds in the fact that the warehouse was used to give tours of the metalworking company and children could walk around and play with modified versions of the machinery.

I ran deeper inside where I came across a steel beam anchored into the foundation with a bunch of white pipes running up the side. I grabbed onto one. The tornado grew closer and to my surprise ripped up the pipes that now seemed to be swinging from a support beam on the ceiling, or were perhaps simply being carried in the wind. I got flung around the warehouse still hanging on. There was a machine, still running with a number of massive metal cogs left exposed. They were spinning alarmingly fast, like saw blades.

The pipe cluster I was hanging onto crashed headlong into the gears and began grinding away, pulling the pipes into the side. I looked down to see that I was high above the floor. And there was a pile of metal rebar. No, I can't jump. The gears ate away at the pipes, my only hold. I remember having to quickly pull my hand away, as it was only about an inch from the gap between the gears. I tried not to picture getting pulled inside and crushed.

As I hung there, moments from death, lucidity hit me like a sack of bricks. The winds stopped and the gears ground to a halt. I floated down onto the concrete floor and looked around at what was no longer a warehouse, but rather a debris field.

I might have tried to manifest Manei or someone, something was about to go down when it ended.

Then my parents came into my room asking me if I wanted dinner.
