    1. November Transformation: The Wild Cat Within

by , 11-23-2010 at 05:54 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      November 8, 2010

November has been heavy with the theme of transformation, something I look forward to

Synopsis: A race of cat people hold back their true nature. But a wild and amazing women teaches me how to unleash my inner cat.

      The Wild Cat Within
I'm with my family (not my real family) in a high raise apartment. They're worried about this Witch that the news has been talking about. She has willfully transformed into her wild cat-self.

It's against the law for the people to willfully transform into their wild cat-selves. One who has transformed is treated like a werewolf, a monster that needs to be stopped. Though truthfully, every citizen has the potential to transform at any moment.

One day I was playing around with my natural ability to transform, growing a cat tail. My family scolded me, reminding me that its illegal, and dangerous because I could lose my sanity if I transform.

A flash outside my window catches my attention. I run to my high raise window, and standing proudly in the full sun is the Witch. She's like a cat-were. Humanoid, with cat ears, fangs, claws, fur and tail. At first I'm scared "It's her! The Witch!". Besides the news warns she's probably insane and will kill you.

Gracefully she leaps and climbs the building until she reaches my window. I'm surprised to hear her say -

      "Hello!"

She can talk! The transformed lose their human mind and language. No wonder they call her Witch!

"How can you speak while transformed?"

She grabs my hand and leads me out the window. From then on I was her pupil. Though she didn't say much, her actions were enough to show me that she was completely conscious. More than conscious, she was lucid!

She taught me that society was wrong for telling me to hide my wild cat side. That this is who we really are. She also explained to me, that when you willfully choose to transform, not only do you retain consciousness, but you become more conscious. More brave. More able. More stable.

Oh crap, I'm falling! I'm hanging onto the ledge of the window with just my bare hands.

"Use you're claws to lift yourself up!" She explains

"That's impossible! I'm just a girl! I don't have that kind of upper body strength!"

She shows me. She hangs from the window ledge to mimic me falling. Then using all her upper body strength and the traction of her claws, she lifts herself up, leaping into the air, and landing on the roof.

At first I thought lifting myself out of the falling position was impossible. But after watching her I realized, she's a petite female just like me. If she can do it, why can't I?

I lift myself up and like magic, I was flying into the air and landing on the roof.

From then on, I was the Witch - fully transformed- teaching my pupil. Though the dream just becomes a chase-dream. The cops are after us for willfully transforming. Though to be honest, we found the chase amusing. Could they catch us? NEVER!

They chase us into a tunnel. Where we find an abandoned car, whose keys were conveniently in the ignition for us.

Once in the car, I switch positions again. I'm the pupil again. My Witch-Master races the car out of the tunnel and down the bridge. The cops are right behind us. My master is racing towards the ledge of the bridge, were gonna fall! But she's not stopping! Instead she floors the gas pedal.

Some how I know she's teaching me to have no fear, as she was ever fearless.

The car is flying off the bridge! I keep waiting for us to crash, but instead the velocity gently carries us over the prairie grass. No way the cops were crazy enough to follow us! We land softly. Having lost the cops, we take refuge under the shade of a tree. And I wake up.

In the next brief dream I was lucid, and drooling over the comic books of the artist Anta M. Alabama. Not sure what that means.

    2. November Dreams!

by , 11-06-2010 at 06:22 AM (A World In My Head!!)
I'm sleepy and too lazy to write out my latest dreams in detail, so I'm just going to quickly jot them down here so I remember to write them in detail tomorrow

Dream 1: (Halloween night) Told my friend I want a new job. Frustrating work dream. Man captured and taken to the back room. Forced to tell his story or else. Witch posses his wife, and now he has lightning in the back of his throat. Witch comes, I run. And parkour on the roof. Lucid, we escape to the forest.

Dream 2: Me and the Lost crew are in a mansion. Widmore attacks from above, the island is shaking, were hiding in an elevator. We escape, yay tacos!

      Dream 3:
Lucid. Parkour on the tree with friends. Friend is stuck in a wheelchair so I try to help him fly, but he's too heavy.

Dream 4: Work dream, lady wants wedding clothes and lots of gold paint? Old apartment. Night time stroll. Later. Sis, mom and me look at the stars. Climb roof for better view. Amazing sky!

Dream 5: Hans is secretly married and hiding in his bedroom. Later, Liz goes out for food, at 12am. We wait for her by watching movies, but we fall asleep. See my sister in the morning and I ask her what took her so long. But then I realize the being in front of me isn't my sister because she would never do that and this is kinda freaky.

      Dang! I'm a missing a day!

    3. Lucid and Singing to my Subconscious!

by , 10-25-2010 at 05:49 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      October 24, 2010

Synopsis: A nightmare is trapped in the back of my house. Later, I become lucid and sing silly songs to praise my subconscious because dreaming is so awesome. After wards, a DC tells me I have to wake up, and acts as if he has authority over me!

Note: The other night I was thinking about how I should recognize that there is ANOTHER part of me that's really creating the dream. And that I need to give up this idea that my conscious self controls or creates the dream.

      A Nightmare Trapped
I had a nightmare. Actually, I don't remember the nightmare. I only had vague impressions of it when I woke up. I remembered that several family members were involved, including my cousin cheskie. There was a female demon. And something creepy and gross involving human body parts.

I remember me and my cousin were trying to get away, but we didn't get far. This part of the dream actually felt long!

Later on, everyone is just chilling in the living room. When suddenly one of men starts throwing up! Being vomit-phobic, I quickly run out of the living room (and so do some of the younger cousins). He's running for the bathroom, holding his mouth! akljaal! He's gonna throw up on me, so I need to get further away from him.

I end up running to my bedroom. Then I regret doing that. Because the nightmare is trapped in the back of my apartment. The entire back half of the apartment is dark, with strange glowing lights. And a weird metal box, which I assumed the demon was in.

I don't remember what happens next, but I think I run out of the room and keep running all the way out of the apartment

Lucid and Singing to my Subconscious!
      (cheese!)
The sun is shining and I'm lucid!!

I run across brick red roof tops, with another DC following me as a friend. From the roof tops, I leap towards a tree, and fly through its branches and green leaves. It felt nice to simply be lucid. I wish I remembered my lucid goals, but I didn't.

I ran around a ghetto looking suburbia. Me and my DC friend hid in someone's front yard, protected with a tall chain link fence. When the owner comes home we realize we've been spotted, and like little kids we run for it! I fly out a breech in the chain-link fence, and continue flying down the street.

I see a big building, it looks interesting so I go inside. It turns out to be some lame supermarket, filled with cheese and bored employees.

Usually I would think this is lame and look for a new dreamscape. But last night I was on a lucid high, and thought "wow! my subconscious made all of these details?". So I walked around in a lucid high just admiring all the random details of this boring supermarket.

Hidden in one of the isles was the tiniest little succulent I've ever seen! Complete in an equally tiny terracotta pot.

I held the tiny thing in my palm and thought..."Its perfect!". My subconscious didn't miss anything. It was green and plump the way any succulent should be.

At that point I start to praise my subconscious for having such creative abilities exceeding my conscious self. I started to sing a silly rhyme, somehow I managed to rhyme processed milk and manufactured cheese in the same sentence.

I can't sing worth anything and my rhyme was dumb! Even I knew it was dumb when I was dreaming

But to my happy surprise, suddenly all the bored looking employees break out in dance, and all together they chorus and repeat my rhyme. That was fun! I stay rhyming and singing to my subconscious for a few minutes.

Until I ran out of things to rhyme processed milk and cheese with

Once I stopped singing, the DCs went back to their boring routine as if nothing happened.

Before leaving, I wanna try it again! Ahem- I have to clear my throat and my voice cracks as I come up with some silly rhyme. All is quiet, and then, the entire store mirrored back my rhyme in perfect melody! Woah!

Happy and still lucid, I go outside and climb the big tree. I think how fun it would be to have monkey feet while climbing this tree, and like magic, I had monkey feet (I think at some point I took off my shoes). Then I try doing back flips, but I just ending up floating backwards instead.

Suddenly a strange DC comes up to me, behind him was a group of aggressive looking men. I think I recognize this DC as a repeating DC, a not so nice one. He's a tall skinny black man, usually wearing a business suite. And he's always a jerk to me!

He tells something I don't remember. But I remember him telling me "So now that you've learned what you were supposed to learn from this dream, its time to wake up."

What? Wake up? End my lucid adventure?

"No! I don't want to wake up, I'm having too much fun."

"Fine, I'll give you an extra minute and a half. And then, I'm ending the dream."

Who is he to tell me that he's ending MY dream? He starts counting "1.....2.....3......"

Oh man! I run down the street, determined to get far away from this jerk and prolong my dream instead. He sends his minions after me, but they can't keep up with my speed.

I wasn't worried about his minions. I was worried about his counting. Actually, it started to completely freak me out o_O. I didn't matter how far or how fast I went, his voice was still there, right behind me. Right in the back of my head!

As if there is no physical space dividing me and this DC, who positions himself to be able to end my dream.

I duck behind a bush and crawl into the thicket, losing the two boys. I can hear the men looking for me. I panic! What should I do? All the other DCs had voices that come from a distance, even far away if they were far away. But not this DC.

The men get closer to me, scared that they would try to bring me back to the strange DC, I decided this dream ain't worth it, and wake myself up

It was 6:30 am, hours before I needed to wake up!

    4. Dolphin Dream Mantra Again!

by , 10-23-2010 at 03:29 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      October 22, 2010

Synopsis: Lots of weird dreams. A haunted bathroom. A conspiracy, a strange world just for zoo creatures. The ocean, and mutants for hire.

Note: I'm back on my dolphin dream mantra and more determined than ever! Although I didn't accomplish my goal, my dream last night included a strong dream sign. The lights didn't work. Later, an ocean appears in my dream.

      Haunted Bathroom
I'm standing in front of the bathroom door, scared because of how dark it is. The set up of my home is completely wonky, like it's a mirror image of my home, were everything feels like on the opposite side.

I notice something stirring. A plastic bottle from the darkness of the bathroom starts walking towards me! There are other people in the hallway, just chatting, and they don't seem to notice. The haunted plastic bottle then slides right under me. Startled I jump.

"Did you see that! Did you see that!"

The man next to me scratches his head. "Well I saw it slide on its own. Weird."

"It did more than that. It was walking!"

I needed to go in the restroom, but now I'm too scared. The young man, being a gentleman, checks out the bathroom for me. He tries to turn on the light - but it doesn't work!

I think for a moment 'how strange? I wonder if this is a dream.'. But I don't follow through with the reality check and the dream sign goes over my head. When he can't get the lights to work, I quickly grab my contacts and toothbrush before something else freakish happens.

I go to the bathroom in my bedroom instead, which was full of random girls doing girly things. But now the lights here are flickering!

      "Oh no, not again!"

I can hear something moving and stirring about in my room. It would have been more creepy, if I were alone. We simply waited out the haunted night, with lights flickering, and random objects moving. I woke up, and only dreamed I wrote in my dream journal

      Small Town Small Zoo
I'm in a small town, where the college is the center of everything. It's got that small town - you - know - everybody kind of feel. And the teachers are sorta the leaders here. After walking to the boondocks to reach my classroom, I discover a conspiracy taking place behind the portable!

I don't remember what it was anymore. But it had something to do with an old man wearing a disguise. The old man wearing the disguise was under cover. He told me about the conspiracy, and led me to the back door of the small town. Tucked away in a shopping district.

It was very important that me and my friends escaped behind this door, because this conspiracy involved us!

When we ran through the other side we entered a ripe green world. Lush valleys and tall mountains. But it didn't turn out to be what I thought it would be. Everything was fake here, like man made. Man made mountains. Man made valleys. Man made rivers, even a man made ocean and beach! The native inhabitants, which we become, were otter people.

It was like the entire world was a zoo, and the humans were servants that waited on us! Despite the fake zoo like feeling, we were happy that at least in this world, we otter people rule, and we were free to do as we pleased. Even the picnic benches were extra small to fit our unique size.

Everything was peachy until the bad people from the small town found us! Then we tried to run away, swimming through pools on the way. I woke up after, and fell asleep before I even lifted my pencil.

      Mutants for Hire
I don't think I really fell asleep. More like, I was half awake for this dream. It had something to do with mutants, teenagers and misfits who didn't fit in. They banded together, especially since society deemed them monsters. A mafia man hired them. Having no other way to obtain an income, they worked for him.

But really, I thought of the mutants too special to lower themselves to the likes of the mafia!

I woke up after and stayed lightly day-dreaming of the winged mutants and their flights

    5. Abstract Adventures and a Rebellion

by , 10-19-2010 at 05:27 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      October 18, 2010

Synopsis: Abstract dream. Were escaped test subjects running from an evil doctor. Brief lucidity. Flying. Next dream, I try to rebel the system from within it.

Note: I was very sleepy after I woke up from my dream. Well, I didn't really wake up. More like, I was only half awake. I stayed drifting in HI for a few minutes before I remembered that I even had a dream. But by that time, what felt like a vivid dream was hard to recall.

      Abstract Adventures

Me and a friend want to leave. We walk straight out of the house and into the parking lot. Waiting for us is a small
helicopter. My friend makes me drive it! I'm terrified! I don't know how to fly this clunky machine. Once inside, my whole world turns upside down. Uh, literally. We crashed.

But were fine, and I think nothing of it.

It turns out we were so desperate to leave because were running away from this evil doctor! We were his unwilling test subjects for some sort of
experiment. We run through suburbia, which was just abstract and weird. We reach a tower, and climb up its various levels. I don't remember much of the tower anymore, but I do remember on the top most floor was a witch conjuring up a spell. I didn't figure out who's side she was on.

Were on top of the tower now. The doctor has us cornered! But that's when I suddenly realize I'm dreaming.
Lucid, I tell the doctor "were not going to run from you anymore!". Then I grab my friends hand and fly instead. I try to grow bird wings, but I don't know if it worked or not. My friend disappears. Common. Lots of DCs just up and puff away when I become lucid.

I continue flying and exploring my strange abstract dream, like giant cardboard boxes strewn together. I woke up after wards and fell into random HI for several minutes.

Thoughts: the tower was a spiral, a repeating pattern in my dreams for 2010. Probably not a coincidence that reaching the top made me lucid, since the spiral itself can represent consciousness.

      Rebel from Within

Some evil corporation has everyone I know slaving away from them, in an
all-generic-building. Oh, and these weren't regular people. They were scheming rats, like the rats from Nyhm. I had two choices. Slave away, or rebel. I saw what happens to people who rebel outwardly. They got locked away in some room, never to return.

I thought I could out smart the rats though. I'd work hard, earn their trust, learn more about their system. And eventually, I'd
learn about their weak points and take them out when they least expect me to! Well, it sounded like a plan. Except that it's really SLOW.

Anyways, I never actually got a chance to rebel! Unless you count spying. I was spying on the big boss while mopping the floors. He had an assistant named Amadeus. Amadeus seemed like an honestly good rat, and it annoyed me the way the boss would say his name and call him for any little thing.

Thoughts: it could have something to do with me trying to overcome old habits. The process is slow, and you have to observe yourself.

    6. Show Me Something Meaningful

by , 10-17-2010 at 04:53 PM (A World In My Head!!)
      October 17, 2010

Synopsis: For the past few days I wanted my dreams to show me something I should see. Small dreams with meanings.

      Hidden Treasure Locked Away

My sisters are visiting me at
school. After touring them around a bit, I decide we should head home. But first I have to empty out my art locker. I warn my sisters I have a lot of artsy junk so it can take a while.

We get to my locker, which looked like a microwave in the middle of a brightly lit room. Sure enough its
full of stuff! But to my happy surprise someone has organized everything for me. All the clothes are neatly folded into bundles, and all the papers are organized by size. I start handing all the art junk to my sister, when I noticed a hidden treasure!

      Its an awesome
art bookI forgot all about. I bought it to give it to my sister, how could I forget? We flip through the book together admiring all the colorful pictures. I give my sister her belated present and then I wake up.

Visiting My Friend Was Not So Much Fun

I'm visiting a good friend of mine, who, doesn't have the best relationships with her parents. For some strange reason in the dream, they lived in a really crappy ghetto apartment. I mean, this neighborhood is so bad their
windows need bars to protect them. I'm just minding my own business, eating dinner my friends mom cooked for me. When suddenly, my friend and her mom start arguing about something.

      It's starting to get really
awkward now. I get upset, because as my friend argues with her mom, it makes me feel like an unwanted guest. But here I am eating their food! I try to find a corner to hide in before the mom takes it out on me and takes my dinner away. Sorry friend, this argument is all yours.

      No Space! No Time!

I just want to do some
yoga. I try to find a spot in my bedroom, but its crowded because my sisters are here blabbing away. I try to ignore them and just continue with my yoga. My mom comes in the room and now its really crowded. I have no space on the floor anymore to do yoga, so I try to do yoga on my bed. I whine, telling them, "hey I'm trying to do some yoga here, do you mind?".

But they just keep blabbing away. Then, thinking we were throwing some sort of party, dad jumps into the mix. Now I'm really annoyed.
"Damn! Can all of you get out of my room?"

They snap back at me asking me what's my problem.
"I'm trying to do yoga here, and I'd like some privacy for that!"

      But
none of them respected my wishes and kept blabbing away as if my bedroom is a party place. On top of that, my yoga time was all up. Now I have to leave for work.

      All The Cake Is Gone!

My friends are throwing me a
birthday party (my birthday was months ago!). It's not a very fancy party, it feels more like were in a run down soup kitchen. But I'm still happy that my friends are here and were all about to have some good cake.

As more guests come, I decide to pull out some chairs for them. Half of our table is being used by random strangers. They were all black, which I thought was strange because we don't have such a large black population here. So I told myself I must be visiting my friend in NC. The strangers were nice enough to help me pull out more chairs for my guests.

Wait a minute! My cake was here just a moment ago! And so was were the drinks!
Now its all gone! The evidence was all over the strangers faces!

      "Hey, you ate my cake!"

My friend comes up concerned "Whats wrong?"

"Those jerks ate my birthday cake!" And even as I was speaking they were drinking the last cup. "Hey, those were for my friends! What are my friends supposed to have now?"

The man pulls out his wallet as if to refund me "Man, woman or child?"

My friend says "I'm sorry, it wasn't them, it was me. I was so hungry, I had the first slice."

What is going on, and why are we throwing my party here! I woke up after that.

    7. Surrender to the Storm

by , 10-14-2010 at 03:54 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      October 13, 2010

Synopsis: A very symbolic dream of a storm destroying my home. Futile. Surrender.

      Surrender to the Storm

A hurricane ravages my home town. Already, all the homes around are deep under water. My home, made of cardboard, has been spared from the flood from the little hill its sitting on. I run home, passing by bursting gullies. I think, "I still have time to save my belongings!". But when I got home, my little cardboard home was flopped over and all soggy.

There was nothing left inside because the winds blew it away. The water is still rising and now I'm in threat of drowning. I leave my home and escape out of the city, treading waist deep.

My dream fades away, and now I'm in a city. I guess this is my new home now. My family went to some lame movie I didn't want to go see. And my friends went to a death metal rock concert, which wasn't my thing. So I just went for a stroll in the city by myself. Not that it was lonely, it was like the crowded streets of New York.

Suddenly a burst of lightning erupts and a group of innocent people vaporize! I look up to see one nasty storm over head! If ever a storm could be pissed, well, this is one pissed off looking storm.

The clouds condense over the tallest building, engulfing the highest floors of the building. There are thousands of people now watching the spectacle. Im worried now because this is the building my friends concert is in! I try to get closer, pushing through the crowd.

All the windows from the building have been bursted, as if the weight of the dark clouds are crushing the building! Scared now, I scream my friends name! But then I logically decide that the building was evacuated and my friends are safe some where in this massive crowd.

Nearby I see another building making a mass exodus. Its where my family were watching a movie. I find them, but their confused why they were kicked out. They have no idea how nasty this storm is, vaporizing people with its lightning strikes.

The dream fades away into a new one. I'm in an apartment complex, I guess this must be my new home. Me and my sister change our shoes, and go for a walk in the light drizzling rain. Which felt nice when you aren't so worried about getting wet.

For a brief moment I became lucid, but went along with the dream. I was just happy to see that the apartment I'm living in this dream was a new one. Even if the old folks were still around, any change felt good. After having a weird bathroom-dream moment, I woke up.

Edit: After reviewing my night time notes, there was something I forgot. At some point I'm told that this dream is about the Story of One

    8. Return To My Forest

by , 10-09-2010 at 06:42 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      October 8, 2010

Synopsis: A witch has trapped me and my cousin. We escape into a forest that keeps us safe from her wrath

      Note:
I've been trying to return to the sanctity of my forest for a long time

      Return to My Forest

My entire class has gathered in a building. Our teacher then instructs each of us where to go. She sends some students down this hall, some down the other hall, some into this room, and some into that room. It's pretty clear she's separating us! Why?

I didn't like that we were being separated, isolated alone in the school. So me and my cousin go down a hallway together before the teacher could instruct us. The teacher finds us and instructs us to go to this room. She then asks my cousin sweetly "You could have your own bedroom instead of sharing! Want to have your own bedroom instead?"

      "NO!"

My cousin didn't want to be separated from me either. Annoyed, the teacher slams the door on us and locks us in the bedroom. It's like a hotel room.

I feel like I've dreamed this before. Except in the last dream me and my cousin struggled to escape. In the last dream my cousin made a loud distraction while I tried to bust the window. It didn't work. My cousin starts thinking of new distractions, including flooding our room with water.

I inspect the window. You can only open it from the outside. But maybe we don't need to open it or break it? I grab my cousin's hand and together we fly right through the window! That was easy.

We fly over the courtyards, they were dark and gothic looking.
We fly over a small village. Which looked desolate, as if our teacher (a witch) has cursed it. There were strange creatures or beings about, I guessed they were working for the witch. We've been spotted!

I make it to the edge of a forest, still afraid the witch will find me. So I fly deeper into the forest, still with my cousin (whos now transformed into a small animal). I think I'm in the heart of the forest now, in a dry river bed. I land on some rocks with lots of pockets in them, like giant lava rocks. I thought, this rock will make a good home. Me and my cousin relax for a little bit.

Soon after I realized we weren't alone. From a distance I noticed two figures racing towards us. One was a dog-man, the other was a bright red fox who looked more like a demon. In my minds eye, the fox was the pet of the dog-man. They looked pissed! Me and my cousin try to find a new spot to hide, but we were too slow. The two of them stop in front of us.

"What are you doing in our forest?"

I figured honesty was best. "We ran away from the witch, but I think she's still after us"

Realizing we were just taking refuge, their demeanor became sweet. They welcomed us and told us we could stay as long as we wanted. At this point me and my cousin remembered that we had left a family member behind back in the witches castle. An old frail man, who was supposed to be 'our' father (which makes no sense logically because she's my cousin). But we were both too afraid to leave the forest now, and decided to stay until we became stronger.

Spring came to the forest, and water rushed in to fill the river bed.

I was convinced that the witch was after me! (I think that's from a previous dream). The woodland creatures keep a careful watch, keeping the demons and witches henchmen out. Word spread that the witch was fast approaching us.

A dark cloaked being, over 14ft tall, bursts through the forest, screaming! It's the witch! The woodland creatures gather together.

Suddenly, and with a flash of light, a demi-god as brilliant as the sun appears in front of the witch!! With a powerful voice and with the crack of lightning, he declares the forest sacred ground. The witch can not, not now, not ever, enter. Wow, nice to have some demi-gods on our side.

The witch howls mournfully, then quickly retreats back to her castle!

Nows a good time to come up with a rescue plan. I make my cousin transform out of her animal form, a hamster, which I thought wouldn't help much for the rescue. We should rescue as our people forms instead (we each had an animal form apparently). After sitting around in a cozy circle with my woodland friends, I decide the best course of action is to turn invisible, rescue the old man, and sneak out quietly.

We practice turning invisible, but I can still see my feet! Am I really invisible?

I keep practicing my invisibility. (At this point I was prolonging the dream, making it slowly abstract. The forest is only half a forest, the other half is a bedroom). I snoop around invisible. A butterfly girl with a tiny voice is looking for her friend, froggy. "Oh froggy! Oh froggy! Where are you?" Her words ring like chimes.

She floats very close to the doorway protecting the forest. The next thing I know, a black giant naga head was lounging towards the butterfly girl. Her cries of help were drowned out by the shrieking scream of the naga-witch! I thought for sure she would die!

But then a blast of light slices the tongue of the naga, thick blood pours from the naga's mouth. The naga shrieks in pain, and retreats back to the castle. The butterfly girl lives, and now I know our forest really is being protected by a powerful sun demi-god.

Its time to rescue the old man. I'm still worried though. I'm worried I'm not really invisible. And I'm worried the witch can trap me in her castle. But my woodland friends explain, that once you are a part of the forest, the bond is eternal, so the witch can never ensnare me.

Me and my cousin leave the sanctity of the forest, in what feels like for the first time in months. The world has grown even darker, the sky a gray. Two ghoulish teenagers were sitting on a log. Trying out my invisibility, I ask them "Can you see me?"

The first one says one says "No...well..sorta....you're outline. Like a silver outline."

      "Pff...you call that invisible? I give you a 0 out of 9!"

0 out of 9! You jerk!

      And then I woke up

    9. Let the Flowers Grow

by , 10-08-2010 at 04:56 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      October 5, 2010

Synopsis: In the first dream I get a huge headache over money! Later, I'm at a movie theatre and become lucid. I try to fill my dream world with flowers, but a DC has other plans

      I Can't Buy It!
My sister has conned me into buying school supplies for a friend. I don't mind at first when I think I'm just going to help her buy one item. But then my sister starts adding more items to the list, PROMISING my friend that I'll deliver! I get pissed and tell sis "I never made these promises, and I don't have the money to buy even half the stuff!". But sis doesn't listen, and adds perks to the list, including that I buy her lunch, and a cd for dad.

My head is reeling with math! The debit card and the merchandise don't add up! I woke up frustrated and upset that I felt too poor to buy anything.

      Let the Flowers Grow
Me and my sisters are watching a movie. As if I'm still annoyed from the last dream, I sit farther away from the sister trying to empty my bank account. We got bored of the movie and leave before its even over.

Some how, just standing up and walking out of the theatre room made me lucid. I follow my sisters to the concession stand with a big smile on my face. I'm just having way too much fun admiring the carpet and the walls. I ask them

"What do you wanna do next?"

      "Eh, nothing, lets go home"

Booo.....that sounds boring . I ditch my sisters by flying straight out of the wall! My dream had changed into a magical landscape, with curvy rolling hills and a castle. I proclaimed myself the queen of this world.

I looked at a pretty landscape in front of me, but it wasn't colorful enough. I know! I'll add flowers! I command the dream to add flowers. But nothing happens. I guess I have to do this the harder way.

I go up to a weird pipe like structure near me. It has little holes punched in. Perfect! I imagine little seedlings rising out from the holes, blossoming into beautiful flowers. It takes some concentration, but deep vermillion leefy plants rise up. They weren't flowers, but they were beautiful.

The moment I stopped giving them my attention, they would wither.

Oh well. I continued to try to make my landscape blossom. Most of the DCs were nice to me. Some of them even started attending to my flowers to keep them alive. Now my flowers are bright blues, rich purples, growing in odd places, even from vertical walls.

But one DC was a real jerk! He would follow me where ever I went and chop my flowers into little pieces

I try to fly away from him, so he can't find my newest flowers. But he was found me and my new seedlings. Finally I got fed up, I grabbed his axe and try to slice him to bits, like he did to my flowers! The axe cuts through him in three directions!

DC passerbys looked shocked and horrified!

But the axe goes right through him, as if he's air. He looks at me sad, as if he's insulted, actually insulted that I would try to hurt him! I try yelling at him instead "Stop following me around! Leave my flowers alone!"

"Okay, I'll stop following you" but then he seems to explain that that's what he does, that that's what he is. He is that which will chop down my blooms.

He stopped following me around, but remained and indestructible presence in my dream world. I lost interest in growing my flowers, I didn't want to see anymore chopped up.

As my dream starts to fade away, I notice mole-people working hard round and about the castle. I felt bad for them, so I call out to them at the last few stable moments of the dream that they could stop working! They hear my voice, but can't see me, and the dream becomes black.

I wake up. I turn over, and that's when I notice shadows. There were shadows on the ground, silhouettes. The shadows made it look like there were people on my bed. I get really creeped out and quickly end the FA.

BTW, not sure if this relates or not. But today (10-7-10) I visited my garden in horticulture class. I just recently planted new seedlings. Every single one of them died, I have no idea why. Its really weird. They were planted in three different spots. Three different species. All dead

    10. Climb the Mountain

by , 10-08-2010 at 04:25 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      October 3, 2010

Synopsis: Too many hamsters. Later, I climb a mountain and fly. Brief lucidity.

Note: I was talking to my friend a couple of days ago about how she moved out, so she can give me advice. She basically told me she just packed her bags and left, with no security of a job!

      Climb the Mountain
Like magic we have two more hamsters. This is bad! Our first two hamsters are already miserable no matter how much play time we give them (they just want freedom, lots of it!). Two more hamsters? The cage is cramped now. What are we gonna do?

Me and my sister explore some retail store. Maybe its a pet store? We exit the back door and see a giant mountain up ahead. (In the real world it wouldn't giant, dream abstraction). Excited, I race my sister to the top. She takes her time and seems to whine about all the rocks and rubble. I reach the peek and I can see the whole valley and the pet store below.

I tell my sister "I've written a new book! It's called A Leap of Faith!" I don't even know why I said that.

I jump! Jumping off the mountain peek made me lucid. I soar over the whole city, which looks like a shining quilt from way up here. I haven't been this high up in a long time! It felt real nice. I think about growing wings to try a different flying method.

That just teleported me to a strange room. I start to have this weird conversation with a dream character about which wings are better to fly with. He insists on using smaller, humming bird like wings. I think that's no fun. I want larger hawk like wings! I woke up after that.

    11. DMT Teaching

by , 09-30-2010 at 05:33 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      September 29

Synopsis: I teach about DMT, I have no idea why! Later, I dream of artists who must create art, or die

      DMT Teaching
I'm in a strange school created and consisted of only students. That's right, there are no teachers. Were just a bunch of weird adults who got together and set this building aside for classes. Then we just collectively decide what we want to learn about, and someone within the group magically volounteers to teach it.

Well, we set up a DMT class, complete with scientific diagrams. It was time for class to start! The room gets quiet. . . . Still quiet. Very quiet, it's awkward now. We stare at each other waiting for someone to say or do something. Okay, enough of this, I'll teach this class since everyone else is too afraid to do so! I take the students and lead them through the diagrams. There were lots of questions and concerns about DMT.

I tried to answer these concerns explaining that DMT is natural and released by the body. But then I doubted myself and thought.....why am I teaching this class!! I don't even do drugs!! I woke up after flipping out.

      Zombie Artists

I watched a film about these artists. Except, I was really watching myself interact with the artists in the film, transforming the film into a first perspective dream. One female artist looked like a goth, dark, tattered clothing. Thick black make up, spiky hair. Suddenly she turns around and I think she's about to throw up, because I see something oozing out of her face.

But when she turns back to face me, black oil was pouring out of her cheeks and her eyes. She explains, she has to continue making the art she makes, or else - she'll become so ill with oil she won't even be human anymore.

After watching the movie me and my friend sit on the couch talking about, how weird and deep it was.

      I woke up after that

    12. Lava Rising

by , 09-28-2010 at 06:01 AM (A World In My Head!!)
      September 25, 2010

Synopsis: My sister's forced into a movie, and then she wins a prize, a hotel flooded with lava! Non-lucid

Note: I've been lazy with my journal, trying to get back into it

      Lava Rising
Me and my sisters watch a movie in the bedroom, with all the lights off. Suddenly theres a knock on the front door, which is kind of freaky because its like 2am! Sister L peeks through the peep hole, and refuses to open the door. We go back to the bedroom, when sister V notices a man outside our window! We try to hide from his view and pretend were asleep.

After that weird episode, we turn the tv back on. Hey! There's a movie featuring sister V! Film taken from just moments ago as the man spied through the window. My sister seemed pretty fed up that her privacy was violated and no its all over tv!

A letter slips through under our door. Its a threat. Either my sis keeps quiet or they will kill her. They sounded serious! They gave one more option, my sis can keep quiet and accept their prize. Their prize was a new job at some fancy hotel. Well that sounds promising!

We head over to the fancy hotel, fighting who should get the new job. But just as soon as we get to the hotel, the lowest level splits a part, and lava bursts through. The hot lava slowly climbs its way up through the levels of the hotel. Crap!

Me and my sisters run for it! Climbing stair case after stair case. I kept looking back at sister V, who was dangerously close to the lava. Can't she run any faster?

We make it to the top level, which was hard because the staircase was actually just a ramp, a slippery one. Up here there there was an arcade game area that seemed really attractive. But the lava! Some of the people hop into an elevator thats going straight to the roof. But I imagined that elevator, with all the lava underneath it, was an oven.

My oldest sister L leads the way, and she finds us a staircase leading to the roof. Just on time, the lava is hot on our heels. The staircase to the roof becomes trecherous. Narrowing, gaps, sometimes we had to jump a long distance to reach the next step. It was terrible! We make it to the top, but it's a thick glass roof! We have nothing to break the roof with, and the lava is gaining on us.

Suddenly strong hands pull me up. Constructions workers on the roof pull us out. Except it's not the roof anymore, it's street level! As if the entire hotel was underground. The men explain that only that hotel erupted with lava, but the rest of the city is fine.

At this point my older sister gives us all a big hug and a sisterly kiss, happy that were all safe and alive. I also magically had a nonexistent brother. We decide to run for it before whos ever after my sister strikes again. We run into a bad side of town. We pass by a house and by the look of the silhouette in the window, a young girl is dancing seductively for an old man. Sis comments that she's just a dirty whore!

But then we step into their front yard, where the carcasses of young women were on display as disfigured artworks. He's an abuser and a murderer! Holy crap! Now were really running for it before he sees us. Towards the end of the dream, we camp by a tree and eat what ever we carried with us - peanut butter.

      The end

    13. A Friend is Lost in the Dream

by , 08-14-2010 at 04:30 PM (A World In My Head!!)
      July 30, 2010

Synopsis: I'm told to find my friend who is lost in the dream world and help her. I feel like I enter my friends dream, and we have a crazy adventure! Water monsters and riding a manta ray! Lucid. Shared-dreaming theme.

Night Time Note: I had read a mantra before sleeping, but I forgot what the mantra was!

A Friend is Lost in the Dream
I'm in a large house with lots of old faces from my old job. I don't remember who told me this, or when, but I just remember being told:

Our friend is lost in the dream world. We have to go find her. Sam and Laura have already left into the dream to go looking for her.

I don't know who the friend is that's trapped in the dreamworld. And I couldn't remember who Laura was, I had trouble recalling the right face to the right name. But anyways.

Me and my old co-worker Megan get ready to enter the dreamworld. I decide to leave first. I make my way to the back porch. The porch is actually a staircase, that mysteriously stops in mid air. Below us is the dreamworld. My mother is sitting on the steps, I thought of her as a gatekeeper. A cat nearby seems to be a guardian.

Before leaping off the staircase, my mother tells me "The first person you'll find is Sam." I'm about to leap when my mom interrupts me again "Oh wait! Do you have Sam's number on your cell phone?" I go back inside and look for my cell phone, and I can't remember Sam's number for the life of me. Oh well.

      I jump and become
lucid! The scenery is beautiful and very bright and vivid. It's a forest. I fly quickly over the forest, remembering in my head my task. 'Find Sam, find Lori or Laura, then find the friend I'm supposed to help!'

I start to yell "Sam! Sam! Where are you!"

I fly into a small town. And right away I find Sam! She was in an old fashioned horse drawn carriage, being carried like a princess, of all places, through a boring apartment complex. Sam seems happy to see me and I quickly make room for myself in the carriage. Sam tells me she's already been dreaming for at least 45 minutes, and now she's going to wake up soon. She didn't find the friend we are supposed to help.

Excited I say "Sam! We're dreaming! Remember me when you wake up!"

She tells me I should be able to find this Lori/Laura. She gives me a big hug, and disappears. I assume she woke up.

I run through the neighborhood, avoiding random DCs by taking the back alleys. Eventually I come to a tall house that looks like something out of a fairy tale. Inside I finally find Lori/Laura. And the name and the face were completely wrong. This character was unstable, fuzzy, as the name and the face made no sense to me. I follow her outside.

But once outside she was completely different person. She was a 'name' and a 'face' I knew and recognized - Maggie. No one ever told me I would meet Maggie.

She asks me "Have you been looking for me?"

It doesn't even occur to me that this is the friend that I'm supposed to find and help! Still thinking I still have to find someone else, I tell Maggie "We should go!"

      "You're right, come on!"

      Maggie's World

(I remain with a light lucidity)
It didn't feel like it was my dream anymore. From the get go Maggie had me running! Someone is after her, who I don't know! It's a dream theme I know so well - I have a chase-dream tag.

      "Come on! Hurry!"

Usually in my dreams I am on the run and my friends follow me. This time, my friend is on the run and I am simply following her blindly.

Maggie was a fast runner, one of the fastest "dream characters" I've met. I had trouble keeping up with her, flying was too slow, my legs were too slow. But Maggie would often look behind to make sure I was still there.

After running through several neighborhoods we find two bicycles. Oh perfect! Now we can really make some distance between us and these bad guys. But the bikes were rusty and crappy and we ditch them soon after.

I try to transform to make keeping up with Maggie easier, but it didn't help. Every now and then Maggie would run strange, like she has an injured leg. Then she would run normal, like there was no injury. We climbed fences, and made our way through a complex construction site with wires and pipes and giant boxes.

We snuck our way into a facility of some sort. All the while, Maggie is still leading the way. I'm not sure what this place is. But this seemed like a bad idea. So many walls, and corners, and doors. It's like a maze.

We hear something. . . is that. . . water? A giant wave of water was rushing towards us. If the wall of water wasn't bad enough, it was full of giant worm monsters that were made of water. The giant water monsters attack us! Damn! We need to get high, above this wave.

Just then, we see a giant manta ray flying gracefully, gulping the water with his giant mouth. Maggie has a most devious expression, lol, I just laugh at her crazy thought. We wait for the right moment and then we leap on top of the giant manta ray! Riding safely above the monstrous wave.

Woah! Riding the giant manta ray was wild! He was like a roller-coaster. A gliding roller-coaster! Both me and Maggie scream excitedly like little girls. At first I was crouched down, holding on tight. But when it became real fun, I stood up.

The manta ray swallows all the water and comes to a slow stop. We jump. We really need to get out of this crazy place.

      "Come on! This way!"

Maggie leads the way again. We run through a supermarket that quickly transforms into a futuristic laboratory. Oh damn, the water is coming back. Maggie suddenly stops running, she has a pensive expression as if she's trying to think of something. No time to think!! I run right past her and down the hallway.

      Bad move.

It was a dead end. Did Maggie know it was a dead end?

I turn around and the water monster has me cornered. The manta ray was drifting slowly towards the water, but he was flying real low. Where as the wall of water was towering high! Crap! The water monster comes crashing towards me! Scared, I hide in a closet that magically appeared for me.

      Silence.

The closet was white. Just white. It would have been a void if it wasn't for the visible slits of the door. For a moment I wait for the water to seep in and flood the closet. But nothing happens!

I sigh deeply. Damn, I just ruined the dream didn't I? A lot of times if I leave the sight of a dream character, that dream character will disappear. I was afraid that this awesome "dream character" Maggie would disappear now. I sat there, waiting, any moment, I'll just wake up.

Then. . I hear footsteps splashing through a puddle of water. It's Maggie's footsteps. She runs up and down the corridor. Is she looking for me? I pop out of the closet. And there was Maggie waiting for me!

"Come on!" She leads the way again. Her legs are even faster now. I had to find ways to make my running path shorter than hers to keep up. We enter a warehouse. Maggie looks up at the crates floating above us. Good idea, if we can get up there we can safely get above the wave.

I press a button hoping to bring the crate down, instead the machine drops the crate and the entire thing smashes on the floor. "Oops..sorry!"

Maggie tries to find another way up there. Why don't we just fly? I try to transform again, and I try to fly up there, but I can't. I can barely make five feet off the ground. I hear footsteps. A large group of men surround us, their leader was an arab man in a suit. He had Sayids voice from the show Lost. Are these the bad guys Maggie has been running from?

Maggie tries to ignore their threats as she desperately cuts away at the rope with pocket knife. I'm not even sure what's that going to accomplish except - nothing! For the first time I seriously doubt Maggie's plan, what ever it is, will work.

I blast a fire ball at the leader! He's not impressed. "What are you doing in my warehouse? And why are you ruining it?"

So. . he's not after Maggie?

"Wait!" I said "We just want to leave this place. Can you please show us the exit and we'll leave you're warehouse alone?"

Maggie continues to cut away at the rope.

"Then, I will show you the way out." He presses a button and a door opens. Maggie reacts like a cat and bolts out the door. I just take my sweet time leaving. Once were outside, Maggie finally relaxes.

"I thought for sure he was lying about letting us out." She says

The man shakes his head and explains "I keep my promises." He turned out to be a really nice man. The next scene was vivid, but for some strange reason I have trouble recalling it. I think the man offers us two bicycles, but they were all rusty. Maggie complains that texas bikes don't rust. The man, a true sales man says "Ah, but do your bikes have big wheels like mine?"

I feel it's almost time, to wake up I mean.

I look about me. The scenery is gorgeous. Mountainous, green, ripe. Maggie talks to the man and laughs at herself for running away all this time. A lemon tree was growing next to us and I grab a fruit, quite lucid. It smelled so richly of lemon!

"I can't do it! I just can't do it! I know it's a dream but even then I still can't bite into this lemon!" My mouth waters at just the thought. Maggie laughs at me.

Quite happy that I left Maggie in a more peaceful and vivid dream, I say goodbye and wake up.

    14. Vacation by the Volcanic Flats

by , 08-13-2010 at 07:01 PM (A World In My Head!!)
      July 28, 2010

Synopsis: Me and my family stay at a strange hotel, and an even stranger landscape charred by volcanoes. Some abstraction, some vivid.

      Vacation by the Volcanic Flats
It's a beautiful warm summer night, and me and my sisters have gone for a stroll with mom. My dream already feels like it's been going on for a while now, but I can't remember it until now. We walk through a giant stone tunnel connecting the downtown to the little town were staying at. Lots of other tourists were also enjoying the stroll through the old castle tunnel, lit by the moon.

The tunnel opens up into a field of grass under an amazing starry sky. We can see our hotel up on a hill. It too looks like an old castle. The hill is rocky, jagged, and black from the volcanic waste it was built on.

In one weird abstract scene a tiny train almost runs us over. We just hop over the tracks and continue our night time stroll up the hill. The grass gives way to boulders and craters.

Sis sees some water in one of the craters, thirsty, she bends down to take a drink. "Stop!" I yell "That's poison! That's volcanic water!" After saving my sis we finally climb the steps to the hotel. The door was open. A little red flag goes off in my head, why is the door open? Did someone break in?

There's no one in the living room, or the kitchen. My sisters check their bedrooms and I check mine. Standing in the doorway I scream "IS ANYONE IN HERE!" Suddenly a cabinet door from the back of my bedroom swings wide open, and then shuts. Scared that my room is haunted, I yell at it - kinda totorro style.

The next morning it was dad's turn to take us out. We climb down the stone steps when a scene of birds catch our attention. Holy crap the birds are HUGE! They're like dinosaurs! Sis gets too close and the birds snatch her. They quickly drop her back down. The giant birds were battling each other. We run down the spiraling steps before they decide to attack us instead.

This scene looks like from a zelda video game. The steps were tiny and narrow. If you fell off the ledge you fell several hundred feet before falling into a deep pool of misty - toxic - water. There was an island in the middle of the misty pool, with a simple wooden cabin. We quickly run into the cabin and take refuge from the crazy giant dinosaur birds.

I love this cabin! There were some other tourists inside, but when we came in we came wanting to own the place. Feeling uncomfortable, the other tourists leave and we lock the front door. This is the kind of cabin I would love to have. It was so warm and adorable! All the doors were gnome like. The hand crafted furniture was for sell and sis has her eye on one of the chairs.

I remember that this part of the dream was the most vivid. It's hard to describe the front room but I remember it pretty clearly. And the cabin actually FELT warm and stuffy. We hear some noises coming from outside. Damn, people are trying to get in! We quickly try to find any doors or windows we forgot to lock. I woke up shortly after.

      July to August

I've dreamed of work at least three more times since the end of July and now. I hate typing out my work dreams, plus I don't want to mention names. This post is mostly for my tags and to yell at myself for dreaming about work.

I want to LEAVE work, not live in it in my dreams!
