    1. Dissolving Dormitory and Glimpse of a Rainforest

by , 03-02-2011 at 05:04 AM (Nocturn Core (Abridged))
I was reading something on my computer screen when I realized quite abruptly that I was dreaming. I moved my hands via thought alone. A moment later, everything became fuzzy. I reminded myself that it would come back if I focused and relaxed my thoughts. I got hazy visuals of the computer screen fading back in (I was no longer on the same website), then my dorm room. I was sitting at my computer desk again.

“Increase lucidity!” I shouted inside my head. Surprisingly, this didn’t work. My dream control’s usually pretty good… I tried morphing my bedroom into a lush rainforest full of sights and sounds to engage my senses. It worked! I got about halfway through the transformation before I lost the dream.
    2. Day One

      Day 1: Wednesday, January 19

      Pre-Sleep
-No special preparation, fell asleep directly after the 1st MILD lesson, which was excellent and very informative. While falling asleep I retained a positive outlook towards lucid dreaming and dreaming in general, and managed to sleep almost immediately.

      In-Sleep
-I am standing in my grandparent's house. It is quiet, and very dark. I walk around slowly, not wanting to disturb anyone who might be there. Upon turning a corner, I see a man sitting there in a rocking chair, absolutely silent. I can't see his body very well in the dim light, but his eyes are large and milky coloured, almost luminescent. He has no pupils. I am scared, and run. Every room I enter has another milky eyed person waiting with lifeless expressions. Some of them are people I know; some are strangers. I am finally overcome by fear or luck, and the dream fades.

      July 23rd.
I'm holding a small bottle, placing it horizontally between my two palms, moving it up and down creating waves. Inside, is a dark, opaque red liquid - blood. I do not know whose, but, I do know that it signifies something important. There is a girl near me, although this dream doesn't feel like it will become a nightmare, I know that she is not good news. She asks me to write her something on a paper, and I tell her only if she releases her creatures. She agrees and I go away to a room to write something, however, instead I decide to look through some gold coins she has in a little casket at the side of the room. I'm displeased, so I throw them all out and leave. As I go out I'm in trouble, but not with the girl, but with my health apparently. Doctors swarm around me, someone tells someone else that my blood is O-Negative, I see them carrying little packets of the stuff towards me. I sit down, and suddenly I am alone. To my right is a little table, with drops of blood on it. I take the pin, and put it to my finger, marking the paper then, with my own liquid. My blood looks redder on the table, as dark as anything. Everything feels hazy, magical, and just as I start to feel good again someone appears, but it's hard to make out who for I can't see properly. I think it is a boy, looking at his shadow, I feel like I know who he is. I ready myself to stand up but he leaves and my dream fades away.
