    Lucid Time!

    Interesting, Funny and Weird SLDs

I'm starting to get over my illness. My recall really stepped it up.

    Campus Emergency

Something weird was happening. For one reason or another, every building on the college campus was closing up. It was nighttime and I was outside. I think it was because of a gas leak or somebody had an infectious disease and they needed to quarantine off the campus.

    ...or something.

I remember that I met up with this girl who felt familiar. I had the vague inkling that this was a dream but that I knew the girl IWL. (I have never seen the girl before in my life). She was really short and kind of chubby with long black hair.

She wanted my help going back to her dorm or my dorm or something. (First dream of the night, cut me some slack, I don't remember the plot or flow of events particularly well.) I remember going to one of the dorm buildings and having it replaced with a concrete frame of the building. We were able to navigate the stairs but there were no windows or doors or carpets or anything. I think it might have been the dorm building that I am normally living in, but then replaced with another dorm building, the one that the girl was living in.

She said that she was hungry. I told her we would find a food place. We walked around the campus, that was in a complete disarray and not arranged in any way like it was IWL. There were emergency vehicles everywhere and personnel were asking students to please remain calm. I couldn't see any fire or any sort of disaster. All of the food places on campus were closed too.

She had family/friends involved in whatever invisible campus emergency was going on, and asked if she could hold my hand at one point.

The only things that I had on me were my phone, keys and wallet. (IWL, I generally carry snacks around campus in my backpack.) I figured that since there was a big emergency, (I remember hearing in the dream that classes were going to be cancelled for awhile.)

I eventually decided that the only thing to do was to take her to my parents house. The two of us started talking and we were walking to my car. She pointed out the moon to me.

The moon was full and had 'Deal With It' sunglasses on...

    Two-Path Beach Dream

I was going to the beach with my family. My grandparents were there and they were nagging me about not putting on sunscreen. I for some reason (even though I was nonlucid or only had a vague inkling that I was dreaming) said to them that it was okay that I wasn't wearing sunscreen since I was lucid dreaming, and they accepted that.

There was something to do with this guy who flew a model airplane that was the size of a real airplane and it also hit members of our family. He got in big trouble and they decided to punish him by taking him to this little sand island that was about five hundred feet offshore and making him have a time-out there.

I remember digging a hole in the sand with my hands at one point. The sand at this beach was very clay-like and mold-able. (The kind that my inner child knew that was perfect for making sand castles). I remember thinking to myself that playing in the sand is sort of a kids thing and that I should stop, but my weird semi-lucid state said that it was okay because it would be over soon and I should enjoy it while it lasts.

    Path #1.

The dream took a dark turn. The sky was dark grey and white at the horizon and there were multiple suns on the horizon. They went upwards in a vertical line to about 45 degrees decreasing in size and brightness as they went up. The ground was made of an odd mirror like subsistence.

I was told that I was going to be trapped in the dream and going on a journey with a few other people. We were going to be trapped there for a very long time and needed a food supply. The only food we had was a huge glass box full of chocolate chips.

I suddenly began to feel every sick to my stomach and felt as if I had only eaten chocolate for a long time and desperately craved something else, and became semi-awake or something.

    Path #2

I was on the beach still. Manei was there sleeping on a beach towel. She got up off of it and started talking to me. For some reason I was really drawn to the pattern on her beach towel.

I got teleported to my grandparent's house. I was sitting on the swing in the backyard. I felt like I was a little kid again. Manei manifested said something about wishing that I had more than one dream guide, and so she decided to split herself. She said that since she was 19, each new guide would be half her age.

She disappeared and two younger versions of her appeared side by side. One of them said that she was 9 and the other was 10. The older one was ever so slightly taller. The younger one said that this was her older sister.

9:"How much older than me are you?"

    10:"One year?"

9:"I though it was more like a million bazillion years!"

Me "oh, god, please no! I hate it when there's twins and you can't tell them apart!"

The two twins disappeared and then Manei reappeared. She explained that she couldn't split her age into fractions and make two 9 and 1/2 year old twins since you can't divide whole numbers. She said that splitting herself was no fun since she didn't know how to do it properly and would just wind up with duplicates of herself.

    I lost the dream.

One Manei is more than enough for me, thank you!

    Clockwork by Rodely Radrick

I was reading a novel (but it was animated in the style of a Disney movie.) It was called 'Clockwork' by an author named Rodely Radrick. I know that I was semi lucid in this dream as well because I remember that I was trying to remember things about it so that I could write about them.

The story was pretty short. Alien ships would swoop down attacked and bombed world with plasma bombs. I remember seeing the attack, they cut down a city with a slow moving ship just cutting the city down like a lawnmower going back and fourth.

Only one boy survived since he hid in a cave. He for some reason had a clock in his face. His nose was the middle of the clock and clock hands would go around his face. He had roman numerals tattooed on his face.

When he found out he was the last boy on earth he became really greedy and began stealing all of the most valuable objects on the planet. He eventually made friends with a black and white cat in a ninja/theif outfit that could talk and acted as a mother figure and a robot spider with a ray cannon that caused plants to grow. (This Rodely Radrick guy was either really creative or a stoner.)

One day, the main character found a little game-boy type device and started playing a game on it. The game was like a more cartoony version of Halo. You played as these gray space marine cyborgs with rifles fighting alien brain monsters. Supposedly these were the aliens that had actually attacked earth in the story.

He was really good at the game. I remember him being on this planet where the sky was green and there were all of these stars. The surface of the planet was quicksand that rose and fell in waves, but there were purple rocks that the space cyborgs could jump on.

Upon beating the game, he learned the truth. The governments had made a pact with the aliens to preform a social experiment on humankind, and the richest people fled onto the dark side of the moon and lived with the aliens. The aliens wanted to judge human society by killing everyone and seeing, if left alone, what a lone human would do.

The war between the humans and the aliens had actually happened on a far away planet two decades ago. The humans used robots to fight so that they wouldn't have to cover up casualties. The game that the boy played was based off the real war between the humans and the brain monster aliens.

The main character then realized that he had to return all of the stuff he had taken or do something good with it to prove the aliens and government that he was good. But the clock hands on his face started spinning really fast and distracted him.

It cut back to the game that he started playing again. This made the clock hands stop spinning. I remember looking at the green sky with all the stars and thinking it looked familiar. I lost the dream and woke up.
