    1. Weird Mostly Lucid Dreams

      by , 09-14-2011 at 06:17 AM
Today I had two semi-lucid dreams that were different from any dreams Ive had before. In the first dream I turned on the kitchen facet and the water pressure was low. I thought "I hope this is a dream" and I thought it probably was. I tried to increase the water by will. I imagined a strong flow but this seemed less real than the dream. As soon as I quit imagining the water pressure immediately returned to being low.

In the second dream I put some CDs in a bag and left them on the street for some reason. When I came back I found they had been stepped on and some were broken. I was like "Damn! I hope this is a dream" and I thought it probably was a dream. But I wasnt sure though. Too bad I didnt bother to do some reality checks.

These dreams were after I had gone back to bed after briefly being up. They occurred late in the afternoon.
    2. My Latest Lucid= The Fake Dreamguide

by , 05-02-2011 at 10:27 PM (Lucid Series-Adventures Within The Mind: Izanagi's Dream Journal)
This started out as a typical random dream: I was in some sort of complex there was people every where in groups of 4-5 i was walking through it all casually passing by. Afterwards I stopped in the alley-way between two buildings and felt a feeling of "Awakening" I'm pretty sure it was my conciousness at that point i had said to myself I am dreaming like my usual DILDs I had recently read a guide on finding my dreamguide and tried to find it. I called out DO I HAVE A DREAM GUIDE a female voice replied "Yes, You do" I turned around to find a girl "Warping in" I looked at her and said are you my dreamguide she nodded with a faint yes motioning me to follow her she started to run away I was really happy at that point following behind her We were on a bridge far from the complex when i had stopped her to ask her name and if she was really my dream guide to which she replied "Strawberries" At that point I knew that it was a random dream character and I think my Dreamguide was toying with me. after the stupid dream character replied i had gotten angry and woken up at which point i couldn't get back to sleep so that ruined my night well maybe tonight ill have better luck
    3. Lucid Series-Adventures Within The Mind: Izanagi's Dream Journal

by , 05-01-2011 at 05:41 PM (Lucid Series-Adventures Within The Mind: Izanagi's Dream Journal)
Welcome to anyone who may be reading this. I am creating this dream journal now so I can use it later. I have had around 7 lucid dreams so far many more to come I hope To give a little background on myself I have always loved dreams and always wanted to have them all the time as a kid i would have weird episodic reccuring dreams (it wasnt like the exact same dream but more a continuation each night like episodes in a series) the would always be so fun i remeber sleeping within my dreams sometimes, that brings me to something else i have always remembered my dreams in vivid detail since i can remember with no practice whatsoever i think thats different compared to most so i thought it was worth mentioning. Ive also been trying to wild for the past months and cant seem to do it yet. So this will be my dream journal and the reason im putting one on here is to let others around the forums get ideas or enjoy it i dont really know yet well we will find out
    4. It's weird, my LD's dont seem to be like everyone elses.....

      by , 03-29-2011 at 09:42 PM
So, I've been looking around for other people who have consistent LD's every night and i found a couple But, it's weird because I was reading their dream journal and a lot of other peoples dream journals and a lot of their dreams are from movie scenes. Now for me, that never happened unless I memorized a movie scene and wanted to think about it while i was sleeping and then watch it in my mind..which is pretty weird. In fact, i usually make up my own dreams into a series. I dunno, I was just wondering if it was me or if people were lying.....

    5. How i came to find out that i had lucid dreams

      by , 03-28-2011 at 03:05 AM
I didnt always know that I had wild lucid dreams. In fact, when I found out i had all four symptoms and that it was a rarity to have all the symptoms and that people have been trying to have wild dreams for years, it was a complete shocker. For me, that was always normal. I went to bed and entered my own little world...literally. I'm not sure if this is ever discussed, but i have created an entire elaborate world where every night is like an episode in a tv show. I can control the entire world. I have been having this same "genre" of a dream for the last oh like 3 years. I got bored with the other world I had created before that.....
I can not go into the entire world of my dreams, because that would be like opening and entire personal side of me. But here's what i can say. When I go to bed, I'm still me. My brain is still wide awake. There is no difference. I have often referred to myself as a light sleeper because I am still aware of what is happening around me even when I'm asleep. As I get border with my dreams, I have to make them more interesting. The more interesting I create my dream, the quicker I fall asleep. If I'm bored, I have to sit there and think (while dreaming) of a plot for the next 8 hours of sleep I'm going to get.
I found out i had lucid dreams when I asked my friend what she dreamed about every night It took us an hour to sort out the difference between her dreams and mine. I gotta admit, I felt special. The only thing is, my dreams are a utopia. I get distracted because I want so badly to escape to my dreams sometimes and get out of the real world. I can skip homework to go to sleep. Its pretty distracting.
So I guess in the end, I wouldn't know how to help you have wild things. I think it has to be natural. But if you want to ask me about my dreams or "worlds" or specific questions you have about wild dreams, email me at [email protected]. Ill answer to the best of my ability.

    6. ☽ The Night Project - Entry #1 (Tic-Tac-Trickster)

by , 02-24-2011 at 06:28 AM (The Night Project)

Finally, somewhere more exciting than Word 2010 to keep this log! You'll probably want to read this through; the title doesn't make sense until the end.

So, this is not exactly a "journal," but rather a log book for a project I am conducting involving lucid dreams. I have been doing mini-projects, but I am officially starting tonight. (This log is mostly for my own personal reference, but I figured I would post it here as well just incase someone wanted to read it!)

I have had countless questions involving lucid dreams that I've always wanted answers to. Some of these questions may have already been answered, but I'm the kind of person who wants to be able to tell people that I know something because I've experienced it first hand. If I have a question involving dreams, I will do an experiment, and write a log about it here. And eventually, I am hoping that others can give me ideas so I can keep this log going at a steady rate.

Enough chatter, time for the first experiment.

I've lately been wanting to know what would happen if I was to, in a lucid dream, play board games with my subconscious. This will probably be interesting considering your logic center is partly off when you're dreaming - so I want to know how advanced of a board game my subconscious can handle, if any at all. I have heard strange stories of people trying to do this, but I want to see for myself. As I said before, I will be documenting all of my progress on this experiment in here. I will be starting with Tic-Tac-Toe, moving on to Checkers, and then if all before is successful; Chess. This experiment will be done using the WILD method. I will write another log once I get some progress.

      Game on!

In the meantime, here's one of my dream journal entries from last night:

      DREAM JOURNAL ENTRY 2/23/2011 6:35PM

I had two dreams. One of them was lucid. The time they occured was most likely the morning of 2/23/2011; before 7:00AM.

#1: The first dream randomly turned into a lucid, not sure how. I was standing on a bridge with two Dream Characters. I was in the same setting as the second dream that I would have after this. This one, unfortunately, turned out to be a fading lucid, and it is hard for me to remember every detail, but I do know that it was pretty cool when I realized I was dreaming.

The bridge was big; going over some sort of dry lake. It was made of copper and iron, and me and the DCs seemed to be climbing over it. The sun was out. Then, out of the blue, I suddenly realized I was dreaming. I decided to go and try to convince one of the DCs that he was in a dream just to see his reaction. This DC had dark brown anime-like hair, and was wearing brown too. I don't remember his reaction because I started slipping out of lucidity even though I tried my best not to. Then I became slightly awake, then went off to have another non-lucid (normal) dream.

#2: Dream 2 was weird. The entire thing was based on me preparing for a giant pre-apocalypse battle in another dimension. I forgot exactly what we were fighting, but I think it was an army of demon-like creatures, led by some she-villain. I remember gathering practically every monster/being/soldier from every time period, dimension, universe, everything. I also remember giving war-tactics to some people who were working with me. I also remember some of our creatures dying. There were dragons, HUGE mecha robots, aliens I had never seen before, future-soldiers, etc. I was the human, and I was also a wizard - apparently, magic would be the skill that I would use in battle. The DC I tried to convince was in a dream was there too; he was an elf.
