    1. The Dog (First Lucid Dream)

      by , 09-10-2012 at 11:32 PM
My friend and I were walking down the street when suddenly a man pulls up to us. He rolled down his window and said ,"You like piercings?". I said yes and he lifted up his shirt and revealed a wrench attatched to his chest. He smiled and quickly drove off. Me and my friend continued to walk until I realized how weird that was. I said to my friend, "I'm dreaming!". When I said this, I still wasn't too sure. I counted my fingers but only counted 8 of them. Then, I stuck my finger through my hand and it went right through. I was amazed and filled with excitment. I remembered not to get too excited because I didn't want to wake up. Suddenly, no living thing surrounded me except for a small dog near a local gorcery store. I tried moving the dog with my mind (like a telepathic) but i coudln't do it. The dog wouldn't move. So I decided to float up. I saw my city and how beautiful it looked. I went flying to the roof of the grocery store and landed on it. I than saw my mom walking in the parking lot so I decided to jump off to catch her but I became scared. As I was falling I thought to myself that this would hurt. I woke up.
    2. Short lucid

      by , 04-20-2012 at 07:40 PM (Taffy's Sweet Dreams)
I was in the dining room when I got lucid. I remembered hearing that crawling on the floor works for a stabilization technique. I did it and the dream became really clear and detailed. I walked outside onto the deck, and jumped up to fly. I couldn't get up high, so I landed on a low tree branch, and tried to take off again. It didn't work and I fell. Then the dream ended.
      ---
I was in a huge hotel-like place, well, it was more like a mall that looked like a hotel. I was looking for my family, since I was on a different floor. The elevator had the floors labeled with a letter and a number, and I was on floor J1 I believe. I went to a random floor above mine, and when I got out of the elevator I saw my little cousin and my aunt. My cousin talked with me for a bit, and after I said goodbye and walked away. There was a huge pop'n music machine in the corner of the big room. The buttons were removable, and since the colors were all wrong, I rearranged them. But the buttons were really big and the back few were hard to reach. There were also 3 rows instead of two.*

    3. Failed flight

      by , 03-25-2012 at 03:14 PM (Taffy's Sweet Dreams)
I was at someone's house. They had a PIU machine, so I started to play, but the mats were propped up on top of shaky wooden boards. A woman came in and said there was another mat downstairs, so I went down to look. Didn't find one (but I saw Pop'n Music), and went back upstairs. Then all of my family came, so I had to go say hi to everyone. There was also a guy I didn't recognize. After that I realized how weird this was. I was in some random house and all of my family was there. I did a reality check and became lucid. I jumped through a glass window and phased through it, landing on a deck outside. I jumped up and tried to fly (which has practically become second nature to me by now) but for whatever reason, I couldn't. I just hovered and fell. I kept trying, about like 20 times, but the highest I got was the branch of a nearby tree, then I fell down. I was getting frustrated, and eventually lost lucidity.*I went back inside and played pop'n music.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

So I'm at my school again, when something prompts me to RC. Probably the fact that the school is empty. I pinch my nose and go lucid. So I feel extremely happy and satisfied that I'm LDing and stay calm enough that the dream doesn't destabilize. So I decide that my first priority is to clear up the dream. So I start to rub my hands and focus on the dream. It clears up, but I notice that only the things I focus on become super clear, which disappoints me a little. (I had been hearing about how when you focus on a dream it becomes super real) So I decide to test my dream control and make one of the passing DCs give me his gun (???). So suddenly I wake up and fall asleep almost instantly after waking.
I guess I fell asleep fast enough that I retain lucidity. I am in the same area and see what would happen if I jumped down the big ass stairs at my school. I fly down them and wee that the next room was replaced with a room with a banner that says "Welcome, Lucid Dreamer!" I think alriiiiiggggghhhhttt and fly around the room, which it turns out is hosting the Oscars. So the host is talking about who won what award when I fall to the ground and wake up in the same position I fell in.

    5. My DG is in Las Vegas, and I can only fly two meters off the ground

      by , 09-24-2010 at 02:34 PM
I've just had quite an epic dream about flying around the countryside in a homemade helicopter-thingie, and now I find myself in my room at home, just knowing that I'm in a dream. I am careful not to get too excited, and try to stabilize the dream by holding on to stuff, rubbing my hands and doing the finger-through-palm RC. Still, it's like my eyes are forced close, and there's nothing I can do to help it.

Next thing I know is that I wake up, but I'm so sure it's a false awakening, so I pinch my nose and can still breathe. This time I can get out of my bed and walk around, and the dream is very vivid, sharp and relatively stable. I walk downstairs, where I meet my parents. They say that it's time for dinner, but I tell them "actually, this is only a dream". They look at me really strangely, but I don't care, as I'm 100% sure I'm dreaming. I then remember that DC's sometimes have interesting things to say, so I ask them: "do you have anything to tell me?". Their answers are really vague and nonsensical, so I leave and go outside instead.

I want to fly, so I go out on the lawn and try to just let go of gravity. I fail miserably, can't even jump very high. I try to flap my arms and everything, but nothing works. A little disappointed, I decide to instead try to flip over a car that I see driving towards the house, out on the road. Not caring for the DC in the car, I go out in front of it, and really easily I lift the whole car up and put it down on it's side.

Reasonably happy with that achievement, I decide to go talk to the DC's again. My uncle is there now, carrying a lot of cases with DVD's into our house. I want to ask them to show me my Dream Guide, but I can't for the life of me figure out what they're called. I try to ask them for my "inner advisor", or something like that. They don't tell me anything useful, so I ask them for a hint. My dad tells me to go look at the DVD cover on the dinner table. I can't remember exactly what DVD it is, but it does have something to do with gambling and Las Vegas. I decide that I have to go to Las Vegas to find my dream guide.

I come to the conclusion that the easiest way to get there would be to teleport, but I'd rather just fly. So I go out and try again. This time my uncle is there, cheering for me (he is really, really excited about me flying). I manage to get a few meters up in the air this time, but at a really slow speed. When I get up though, I loose confidence for some reason, and I fall down again. I now try to concentrate really hard on the flying, but I concentrate too hard instead,
      and I wake up.

I wake up and jot down some notes in my DJ. I have a strong feeling that I can get back to do another LD though, so I don't use too much time before I go to sleep again. This time the excact same thing happens: I'm in my room, knowing I'm dreaming. I go outside to fly again, but I need to stabilize the dream. I do the slow spinning around technique, and I absolutely love the feeling of it. I then try to fly again, with a little more success. I manage to get maybe 20 meters up in the air at a very fast speed, but then I become overwhelmed and just fall down again. After this I can't remember exactly what happens, but I suspect it's an FA or two.

Anyway, they're not that long or interesting, but it's been almost two weeks since I had my last one, and these make me feel a lot more confident about getting more frequent and vivid LDs in the future. Can't wait to try again

    6. My Own Resident Evil. ( without the zombies)

by , 09-12-2010 at 10:01 PM (Dreams I can Only Dream.)
      Date: Sept.12
      Time: between 7am-10am

      Important Note:
Again, from the night before I tried that no preparation technique of being completely confident about LDing, and it actually worked twice in a row. I did a mini WBTB. I was only up for about 5 minutes before falling back to sleep. I remember the dream before I awoke, and my lucid dream after.
Description: A long semi-vivid dream. I remember mostly the ideas, and feelings of the dream, but not that actual order of events, and I have lost details throughout the day since I was late for work. My lucid dream was very short, or maybe I don't remember some of it. Again, tried different techniques to fly, but was only able to jump higher than usual.

Dream: So I am in my backyard, with a couple of family members. For some reason we walk out into the front yard and look down the street. I see a couple of little kids riding their bike, for some reason we all think we are about to get attacked by zombies. So we decide to be defend ourselves in the house. I remember my dad telling me to get my bible, so I rush into my old upstairs bedroom and grab a red bible that was sitting under some papers. I rush out of my room outside, and talk to my family on what to do. We are by my front door, and to the left where there was a bush, now there is a secret staircase leading down, kind of looked like a bomb shelter of some sort. I never go down. I start talking about, once somebody gets bit, then the infection will grow rapidly. That soon we will be defending ourselves against the neighborhood. And eventually we will be in the apocalypse, and might be the only human survivors. That we need to leave, the house and drive far away. Nobody listened to me. I kept repeating myself and getting frustrated, because no matter what I said, nobody would listen. It got dark out, and my nephew finally listened. So I took off in my car with him and headed for some strip mall, that had a couple of big stores in it. I remember trying to tell him we need to go to Chicago. But then I awoke to my alarm.

LD: So I fell back asleep and ended outside in the front of my house. It felt very cool, the wind was blowing, and it was late morning early afternoon. I remember for some reason I thought I was dreaming, so I did an RC of the nose plug, and it failed. I didn't get to excited, because I have learned to control that emotion when in an LD. So I said I was dreaming, and decided to try to fly. Before going to bed, I looked up how to fly in a dream. So I tried out different techniques. One was just look up at the sky and jumping. I did this, but all I did was jump kind of high. Then I tried imagining the ground moving away from me as I was in air, but that failed. I can't remember anything else, but I know there was more to it.
