Morning of September 11, 2015. Friday. The intersection setting has been more recurring of late, though I am not certain as to why. I suppose it could relate to a metaphorical “crossroads” in regard to trying to solve certain mysteries through extensive research and not really making as much progress as I would like (though I have achieved some amazing new breakthroughs). On the other hand, it could simply be an in-dream metaphor for the choice of remaining either at apex lucidity or choosing to become passive. Although this dream is lucid, it becomes quite distorted, as I mostly remain passive in order to observe, especially things like writing, though which I cannot fully read at any point as it is. My dream seems to start near an unknown intersection, though vaguely reminds me of Stadcor Street (in Australia) as well as King Street (in America). The setting is ambiguous though and seems to be indoors and out on the street at the same time. In fact, I even willfully shift our location a bit so that the “floor” of the setting seems to move out of the range of any potential traffic (though I do not see any vehicles approaching at any point.) I notice that my wife Zsuzsanna, who is seated on her knees, and who seems only slightly puzzled at my manipulation of “sliding” our dream placement, has some sort of computerized display on the “floor”, probably an iPad, though a little bigger. The fairly large writing is in landscape format. I try to read it and become completely clear and lucid for a short time, though this does not do much good as the writing makes no sense at any point. I notice the phrase “dog mxtre”, which I take to mean “mixture”, though it is mostly random letters and gibberish. There is something like “coup de gras” but mostly the screen is an incoherent mess of nonsensical words. The phrases do change a few times with one or two actual words here and there, but just when I think I am getting something interesting or potentially meaningful, I realize it is solely gibberish. During this time I find a newspaper article on events in a park that also somehow relate to sexual acts that are not permitted. There seem to be at least a hundred by-laws that specifically limit the nature of sensuality. It seems very clinical and yet senseless, as if society is ruled by a “mechanical” mentality that does not even recognize the nature or pleasures of organic life. One of the phrases relates how the heel of the foot is not to be used for gratification in making contact with the partner’s bottom (regarding the cleft). I do not go on to read much of the rest of the long list. From here, I seem to be in a room with my wife, though my mother (deceased October 2, 2002) is also present, along with a few other people in the background. The news is on, on television, and I go closer to watch it carefully, though only semi-lucid at this point. The news announcer is making references to how fantastic and amazing the sound of a snow leopard is. He goes on and on as the screen mostly shows the head of the snow leopard in profile, facing to the right. After several minutes, the snow leopard still has not made a sound, though I continue to watch. As the news announcer goes on and on in praise, there is not much movement of the animal. In fact, it looks a bit annoyed by the presence of the television cameras. Finally though, it makes a roaring sound, still with its head facing to the right of the television screen. However, it does not seem quite real. The news announcer continues to jabber mindlessly. Eventually, the snow leopard seems to speak in a very raspy and breathy voice, “Hank…has not been…ly…ing” (“Hank has not been lying” - in reference to the implied but false “honesty” of the news announcer), which is very low-pitched yet still with a discernible melody. I am aware however, that the video has been edited quite amateurishly to make the mouth seem to move with the words. My mother rolls her eyes and subtly shakes her head and looks frustrated and somewhat angry over the news announcer’s attempts to trick people with ridiculous manipulated video and audio. Yet again, my dream renders unlikely things my wife had seen with no possible way of me knowing. In this case, it was two elements; my wife being endangered by a thoughtless driver while walking near an intersection and also, as odd as it sounds, my wife had recently seen something on her own on television about an owner of a gray and white cat (similar colors as a snow leopard) trying to make it look and sound as if it was talking while it was meowing. However, my wife said the commentator in that case made a note that it was obviously fake due to the owner manipulating its sound as the camera held the same orientation as the image in my dream according to my wife. I have never been thoughtless enough to think something like that could be coincidence, especially as it happens continuously and often on higher levels of precision in imagery and events. I continue to remain baffled, not by continuous precognition and remote viewing since earliest memory but how other people do not experience this (or at least claim not to for whatever reason - it just does not add up).

Morning of June 30, 2015. Tuesday. This is one of those odd but generic dreams with mostly only louder audio over a seemingly long time period, though I do have my eyes open at some points in both my main dream and in my false awakenings. It has several false awakenings as well as real partial awakenings where I hear my wife’s breathing (which seems to somehow be creating the other voice at times), though it is only barely audible. Although I would classify it as a typical environmentally-influenced dream, the change in sound in-dream in contrast to the actual audio (as well as its volume) is rather bizarre. This has also sometimes happened when I fell asleep during a television broadcast (as well as with music) and, although the sound sometimes sounded the same in-dream, it sometimes changed in dramatic ways. (Similar to having one-second dreams every few minutes while in semi-sleep while watching television, sometimes which are mostly like the real image, sometimes which are completely different, often having a grid or thin lines or even briefly glowing “asterisks” in some parts). In my dream, I continuously hear an old classmate (Bobby S) speaking to me (which is strange, as I have not heard his voice since 1976). I am not sure if it is by telephone or directly near me, but I do not see him, so I assume we are having a long telephone conversation. (Unlike similar dreams of this nature, the sound comes from the environment rather than the ear that is on my pillow.) He does say “good morning” at first. I do not recall most of what else was said or spoken about and he does most of the talking (sometimes even seeming to answer me when I do not perceive myself as speaking). Though we were not that friendly in reality (even having a brief fist fight in high school), he sounds very friendly in my dream. Every now and then, either a false awakening or a temporary partial awakening comes about randomly. I do not seem to be cognizant of sleep paralysis - which I assume (only in conscious afterthought) that I must be in to be so “grounded” in my actual bed next to Zsuzsanna as a continuous (and undistorted) setting. However, there are none of the pleasant feelings and augmented “conscious-self-as-dream-maker” awareness as with sleep paralysis.

Saturday, August 17th 2013: "Repetition" (LUCID) Type: DILD/FA I had a fantastic series of false awakenings - three in a row, and lucid in all three of them, but many details have disappeared because the whole thing was followed by completely non-related non-lucid dream. However, this is what I do remember... Everything happens in the morning hours. It is daytime. I am sitting in my armchair in the living room, and I become lucid by doing an RC on the digital clock under my TV. - Because of the vividness of everything, I can't believe that I'm dreaming, so I repeat the RC two or three more times. I get very excited, stand up, and begin to laugh. I begin recalling some minor things I did last night. Then I turn around and look at the mirror in the living room, which is once again showing a somewhat different reflection. The biggest difference is in the hair, eyebrows, and eyes. Just for the fun of it, I pull on my right ear a little, and the same thing happens in the reflection. Now I point my finger in the mirror and begin laughing. The reflection does the same thing, but again, with minor differences. My facial expression in the mirror is very funny and unusual. As I'm deciding what I should do next, the dream appears to end. FA #1: I'm lying on my bed on my right side, and experiencing mild vibrations. After a few moments I become aware that it's a dream, and I just sit up. I push my right index finger through my left palm, and it feels like weak rubber. The finger slightly pushes through the palm. I laugh, and lucidly get out of bed. In my living room I encounter a friend, whom I ask to take me to an intelligent dream character, because I have some questions I need answered. He takes me into the yard, and we stand infront of the door that leads to my storage room. He tells me that this dream character is in there. I briefly see some figure through the door glass, but this is where I "wake up"... FA #2: Lying on my bed, once again on my right side, and again experiencing mild vibrations. I am pretty certain I feel my dream body and not my real body, so therefore I just sit up again, and do the finger-through-palm RC. Yup, I am still sleeping, and this is a dream. I get up, go outside, into the yard, and stand in front of the storage room, to attempt myself to generate this dream character. I try to expect many things, but even after two attempts it doesn't work. Now I decide to levitate a bit, which actually works great, as it always does in my dreams. A few moments later, I "wake up" again. FA #3: Same scenario. Lying on my bed, right side, mild vibrations. At this point I am 100% sure that it is a false awakening, and at the same time I laugh because it's already the third one. I sit up, do finger-through-palm successfully, and get out of bed. I go outside, into the yard, and I start saying the following out loud. "I will remember all of this. I must remember all of this. All the details I will remember." As I'm saying this, I look closely at the walls and all the details around me. It is very vivid. I laugh. Now I remember something from Patricia Garfield's "Creative Dreaming", and that's the claim that it should be pretty hard to say your name out loud in a lucid dream. In the book it says that this will cause many people to wake up. Now I try to do this, and I say my name out loud. To be honest it does create an unusual feeling perhaps because of some expectation effect, but it does not cause me to wake up. I rub my hands together, and decide to go for a walk. I walk down the street, frequently touching the walls of the houses as a sort of stabilization method. After a few minutes I notice that this town doesn't look like itself anymore. I seem to be in a completely different place. At this point the dream becomes unstable, starts to fade, and eventually turns into a non-lucid dream.
Lucid Non-lucid My memory picks up walking down past an old friends house which lies close to the railroad. I eventually make it down to the house that sits on the corner not far from my own, and I am leaning up against a white car speaking to a man that was out walking his dog. All of the sudden the dog begins to speak, but in English, of course this startles me and I then ask the owner of the dog if he just heard what his dog said. He says no, and then we casually carry on with our conversation, at this point most of my focus is directed toward the dog while I am speaking to the man. The dog then says something else in English, and I try my best to ignore it. The dog then says another thing and this time there is no doubt in my mind that I am either crazy, or in the presence of a dog that can speak actual words. I begin to worry and I start to walk toward my house which is close by. Once I enter my house I then find myself sitting with two of my friends and my cat in my living room. While we are talking, I am still thinking about the dog and the whole ordeal so going through various explanations I find that the only logical one is that I am in a dream. I then do the nose plug reality check and quickly find that I am in fact dreaming. I levitate my friend up to the corner of the room and I then set him down, then I levitate my cat around the room and set her back down on the couch next to my friends. For some reason I then get the thought in my head that I never went to bed, therefore how am I dreaming? I begin to question what happen to me in my waking life to induce a dream. I go upstairs and I find my dad sitting at his computer desk within his room, I go over to him and ask him if he could attempt to wake me up. He says sure, and he goes over to my room which is across the hall and he looks as if he is moving something around in my bed, possibly me. He says that I am apparently not moving so I tell him to call an ambulance and I close my eyes and try my best to awake myself. It appears that it has worked, and I am within the confines of my own room. I then think that it could possibly be a false awakening and I then attempt to do another nose plug reality check. The reality check works, and I am once again aware within my dream. I look at my dream room, and wander around a bit in awe. The room within my dream looks just like my room in my waking life, it was amazing. I looked out of my window, and then plunged myself through my window and into the air flying toward town within my city. Not long after I took flight, I awoke from my dream.
